Really enjoyed the wine samples. Bought a bottle of the Riesling, which I was very impressed with. Not a big Riesling fan, but found a love in it from Rykers. We will definitely return.

A great small winery for a chill visit! We visited early in the day on Valentine’s Day and happened to be the only people there at the time. The owner was great and told us all about his background and the wines. I’m not typically a huge red wine fan but there wines aren’t overly tannic. I really enjoyed the Cabernet Sauvignon. The Riesling is great too. The owner said he enjoys making wines that everyone would enjoy vs just sophisticated wine drinkers. Would definitely go back!

This is the best winery in the area or Denver! The wine is young, but the wine maker is from California and knows how to make a delicious full body wine. Highly recommend you get out and try them. Soon to have whites and more

I don’t think that Colorado wine can get any better than this. While I am not a big consumer of wine, with the exception of cooking with said liquid, I have been floored by the nuances with each vintage Ryker ferments. My wife and mother both love wine and have found that the wines from this cellar is superb. I have to agree. The Malbec is smooth and floral(amazing). I am not biased even though Ryker and I grew up together in Kansas. His skills he has honed in various cellars of Santa Cruz really comes through with every offering. This guy has mad skills and is very engaging with his clients. It is worth your while to stop in and buy a bottle or two of this craft wine. Superb.

Amazing wine!!! Every single wine was delicious and I don’t like all wines. We met the owner and he is quirky and awesome. He paints a perfect picture of every wine and when you would want it. I have tried many wineries including palisade but this definitely makes my top 3. I love both reislings and the malbec was my favorite red so fruity but deep and delicious. There is a special batch of reisling that smells like whiskey which was a turn off for me but the flavor was absolutely delicious. The other reisling is dry with wonderful fruit flavors from palisade. My husband and I adored this place and will definitely be back. It isn’t the cheapest since it is newer otherwise we would have bought tons of bottles!!!

What a wonderful place in the heart of Colorado! If you stop in to only a few Colorado wineries make this at the top of your list. We also wandered into Rykers right as he was opening and bought one of his two wines that he had available early on — instantly we fell in love! We go back as frequently as possible to see what fantastic creation he is working on next. Ryker is a wonderful guy who we love to visit and talk«wine» with and it is only made that much better by the absolutely delicious wines he is creating at Rykers Cellars. We are thrilled to call his wines a staple in our household! Ask my husband and its all about the Petit Syrah but I am a firm believer the Malbec should be on every dinner table — always! We have never taken anyone here that hasnt found a wine that they just adored. MUSTHAVEWINES!

We went here because we had a Groupon, we’ll be back because it is fantastic! Even my boyfriend, who typically doesn’t like wine unless it’s sweet and white, enjoyed the house red(also known as the barbecue wine). The wine master was great. A little quiet, but really gets into his trade once he starts talking. Ask him any question you like. This guy knows his stuff. He’s put his heart and soul and savings into this tiny little gem, and it shows. Also, every Friday night he teams up with Bonacquisti Wine Company next door and a barbecue food truck and there is a parking lot party with music and wine slushes. It’s called Friday’s Uncorked and it happens ALLSUMMERLONG from 5:30pm-8:30pm.

I may very well have the dubious honor of being Ryker’s first customer. I wandered in last year when he first opened and had one wine. Over the last year he’s expanded to five or six, all of which are delicious. His Riesling is very unique, even folks I’ve taken here who don’t normally like Riesling like this one. His Petite Syrah is my favorite. Ryker himself is very friendly and welcoming and easy to chat with. This is the newest addition to Winery Row, I highly recommend you stop by and sample his creations! Cheers!
