I’ve been with Dr Doolan for years. He always sits down with me for extensive history and checking to see if there were any changes updates in family history(heart disease, cancer, whatever) to see if there are any additional things he should focus on. Does lab work to get complete physical review and friendly and willing to talk at length about any issues or questions you have.

I have had very positive experiences with Dr. Doolan. They have ample free parking in the building. The office and office staff are pleasant and I have never had to wait more than a couple of minutes to see the doctor(who was good, but often made patients wait for an hour or more). Dr. Doolan takes his time with patients, and I have never felt rushed. The labs come back quickly and Dr. Doolan gives immediate feedback.

Avoid. When initially searching for a primary care physician, I called his office and asked his staff if I could do a quick 3 min. meet with Dr. Doolan before scheduling a exam and they said«no.» Went in for an exam and he hardly even looked at me. Just sat there with his iPad going down a scripted list, looked in my ear and tapped my knee…15 min, $ 250. He was very distant and dismissive. Screwed up my lab request and had to go back in for a redraw. Dr. Doolan said that his office would not charge for their mistake and I still get invoices from them to this day, even after speaking with the staff. He seems like he could have potential but until he matures, treats patients with genuine concern, and re-trains/hires competent and caring staff, consider another Dr. when searching for a Primary Care Physician.
