I often end up here because I work in the building. While I’ve never been super happy with my sandwich, I’ve never felt like I needed to post on Unilocal.Run people… run the other way. I ordered the Italian, my favorite sub sandwich. My parmesan/rosemary bread was rubbery and untoasted(even though it had gone through the toaster). There was hardly any lettuce. I asked for extra tomatoes and got two slices. Their soups are average(Campbell’s). The chili is unremarkable..

Ate here last night while in Denver on business. Was my first time eating at Quiznos in perhaps 5 years. I was pressed for time so stopped in for a quick bite. I sat down to eat and five minutes later I was told by the cashier, «Sir, you must keave now because we are closed.» I immediately stopped chewing, stood up dumped the barely eaten sandwich and walked out. Disgrace! The proper way would have been for the cashier to mention they are closed but not… never kick a customer out. Never again.

Still prefer the salads and chili to any of their sandwiches. The online ordering is definitely the way to go for this location as it seems the entire building descends on this location for lunch.

I had a sandwich there today and as I was standing there, my sandwich reached the end of the oven belt and kind of sat there. I looked over to see what the sandwich chef was doing. He had on plastic gloves and was fastidiously using a white dishcloth to wipe off his bowls and knife. Wiping away the edges of his bowls with this cloth. He finished that, and put the dishrag on the counter top. He then grabbed my food, still wearing the same plastic gloves, stuffed in my vegetables, cut and wrapped it and handed it to me. Is it me or does that gross some of you out too? He was cleaning up with a dishrag, didn’t get new gloves on, then just started handling customer food like it was completely normal. Grossed me out.

Generally speaking, I’m a Quiznos fan. I like when I can get a toasted sub, especially with black olives and guacamole. But this is the worst Quiznos location. It is crowded and has a terrible layout that makes no sense. It took me 5 min just to figure out where to fill my drink. It’s slow, inefficient and unfriendly. Oh and consider yourself warned: there are tons of onions on everything– even in the Ceaser Salad.

Typically, all Quiznos are the same. Yet when I’m downtown during the work week and craving Quizno-ish foodstuff, I’ll always go out of my way to hit THIS location. It’s located in the somewhat overlooked Denver Place indoor food court/mini-mall. This is nice, because the min-mall is filled with ample seating and even two big screen TVs with four-way feeds on them. So you can eat your lunch and pretend to understand all the financial news on CNN and MSNBC! The Quizno’s itself is rather ordinary, but I’ve rarely had a long wait. I rarely eat in the restaurant, since it’s rather cramped in there. I always opt to get my stuff«to go» so I can eat in the mall, about 20 feet away from the front door of Quizno’s. Of course, if you eat in the restaurant, you can get free refills. Service is generally quick and attentive. I’ve never had a communication problem with the sandwich makers. I’ve had a cashier mix-up my order, once or twice, simply because he/she didn’t understand the concept of the«Quiznos Meal Deal» with chips and a drink. Hey… I don’t work at Quiznos… you do, bunky. Unfortunately, the wrong one of us is behind the cash register. Ya’d think they’d be aware of the promos at their place of employment, but this is generally the case with any fast food/“casual dining” joint. They have some cheap meal deals, too. They run a «manager’s special» along with the current Quiznos-wide promos(like the $ 5 sandwiches, etc). Overall, this branch seems cheaper prices than the other downtown Quiznos, too. Pay 8 bucks for your meal, or walk an extra two blocks and pay 6 bucks for the same thing. Thus, I always walk past the other, AWFUL Quiznos at 17th and Larimer. There’s no parking or truly visible sign for Quiznos at Denver Place. But if you’re looking for an affordable, quick, deli lunch at a clean venue, hit this joint.
