One of my favorite bars in the highlands! So many good beers, laid back and fun to be in bars.

Yeah it’s that good…, PERIOD! Yummy sausage, German beer choices, potato salat and pretzel. Helpful staff and proper German condiments. Small space but you will enjoy!

Great bier, great wurst, great service. Prost is the real deal; one of those biergartens that represent the best of German/Belgian beer, sausages, sauerkraut, and good company. Tucked in to a cozy spot on 32nd, they have two TVs, about 5 bar stools, and outdoor seating in good weather. My family swung by the day after Christmas, and had the Prost brat, the bier brat, the«exotic sausage» elk jalapeño cheddar, and the pretzel with beer cheese. All were excellent, and went perfectly with the Märzen and Spaten Optimater Doppelbock. Prost!

NOTPROSTBREWING — this is a wiener haus! A super funtastic one at that! They have tasty brews, a charming energy and are dog friendly(outside). The external beer garden is lovely and the joint attracts a fabulous group of people. The tasty sausages are complemented by a vast variety of mustards — yes please! The cute lil place is overflowing with personality. It adds a much needed dynamic to this neighborhood. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

Great beers! Feels like a true beer garden Location can be a bit harder to get to than others because it’s a little off the main highlands drag.

The entire meal was superb and everything cooked to perfection. Visited this place with couple of friends and the whole experience was totally worth it. We’re planning for our next stop to try another cool experience.

Um holy shit are you kidding me? What a great bar. I see people complaining about the décor and the attitude. It’s called authenticity. This is not associated with the Prost Brewery so no comparing allowed. Anyway, delicious beer. The best Monday happy hour(buy one get one drafts.) Crisp, juicy sausages with a thousand toppings to choose from including whole grain dijon and warm sauerkraut. Dim lighting and a cozy, German environment. Well done.

We crossed the bridge for delicious sausages, and we were not disappointed. Awesome atmosphere, great food, good german beers and spirits… how could you go wrong. We Loved the communal seating, and made friends with the two groups at our table. We will be back.

I’m from Frisco(where the original Prost is) and it was a nice surprise to find them in the Highlands! Some of the best beers in the world at a bargain price. Don’t miss out if you’re in the neighborhood and make sure to try the Weihenstephan weissbier.

I will go back for this pretzel with cheese«crack»! The sausages are amazing too, but the staff and beer are the best part!

We still do not know if this place is related to the actual brewery(very confusing), we wanted to drink colorado beer not imported German beer. Anyway, we still stayed after realizing the predicament. Well, we shouldn’t had, the server(blond with one shaven side) was not welcoming at all. It seemed she was in a hurry or was doing us the favor of serving us. She was very impatient and on top of all messed up the tab. We should’ve been the ones giving her a hard time but we were very patient. Friends came to join us and she didn’t let them sit down as she was in their way. Rule #1 on the serving business, the patron has the right of way. Not only that but when they were standing up waiting for her to let them sit in our table, she turned and in a very dry way asked them what they wanted to drink. Ammm, excuse me? They hadn’t even looked at the menu! Get rid of her or give her an earful, if she doesn’t enjoy her work is her problem but she is in NO way is doing us a favor by serving us and most importantly she has to learn to treat patrons like we deserve.

They allow dogs in the back! Any place that serves beer, food, and is dog friendly is a win for me. Prices are reasonable on their mostly-European draft beer selection, served in appropriate glassware of course. Menu is somewhat limited, but good. Sausages are the focus, and darn good, with lots of different options(elk, pork, beef, veg, etc.) Lots of mustard choices and sauerkraut to boot. Monday is two-for-one beers, which you really can’t beat on 32nd. Happy hour from 4 to 6 consists of $ 1 off drafts and $ 5 Moscow mules. This is actually their second location… They also have a place up in Frisco, so they’re doing something right.

I have always been a huge fan of delicious beer and sausages. Whether its my heritage or the fact that European cuisine is just down right amazing, I have always loved it. I found Prost Fine Beer and Sausages via and decided to snag one of their awesome voucher deals. Boy did I score! I had been saving this one for awhile and was very anxious to try this place out. Our timing was impeccable, we arrived just in time for happy hour! $ 1 dollar off mules and all draft beers, sign me up! I was surprised at how tiny Prost was, but I like intimate settings. The atmosphere is very casual and the décor is very rustic. The bar is gorgeous and displays all the different beer glasses, mugs and chalices. Our bartender was kind and very friendly. We ordered two liters of Erdinger and it is absolute heaven on tap. He explained all the sausages and recommended a few. We decided to go with the 4 sausage sampler, a pretzel and the signature dipping cheese to go with it all. We sipped our beers and chatted some more with the bartender and the owner while we waited for our food. Our food arrived in no time and the bartender recommended two types of mustard and homemade sauerkraut to go with it. Everything tasted divine, my favorite ended up being the boar sausage with apricots and cranberries dipped in the spicy jalapeño mustard. Yum! After we had devoured everything, we stuck around to have a couple more beers. The owner informed us that Prost had a beer garden with a nice patio that is nice in the summer. I can’t wait to go back, especially once the weather warms up a bit! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious German beer, wonderful food and exceptional friendly customer service.

I totally liked this place. It is not quite like anything else I’ve experienced in the area, except may Manneken Frites. It’s a small establishment on the same spot as another spot I used to love. The competition in the restaurant industry is brutal. What you will find here is a «German» themed brew pub. The offer a variety of German beers, and sausages in a very casual atmosphere complete with a beer«garten» out back on the patio on nice days. My wife and I, as we frequently do, came here on a Groupon. For beer, I had the Stiegl which is on tap. I had never had this beer before, but I loved it. I will be drinking it again. My wife, who likes the wheat ales, tried the Hacker Pschorr Hefe Weiss. It was a pretty respectable brew, but I still like the Stiegl much better. It was tough finding food for us since we are vegetarian, but, among their many sausage offerings, alas, they have a Vegetarian Sausage, too. We both had one of those. I didn’t ask, but it tasted to me a lot like one of the Tofurky or Boca Veggie Sausages I buy for consumption at home. The sausage comes on your choice of bread, and with your choice of sides. I forget to request a type of bread, so I got their standard roll, and I ordered mine with chips. My wife got the same, but she went with the Gurken Salat which turned out to be a German cucumber salad. The Gurken Salat was very small in size, just a few slices, and I didn’t try it. The chips were served up in an adequate portion, and quite tasty — like kettle chips. The other option would be the German Potato Salad, but I’m guessing it would be pretty tiny, too. The sausages come with a nice variety of sides you apply yourself, and help to justify the $ 7.95 price tag. When I was there, they had six different types of mustard including conventional mustards, jalapeño mustards, and this sauce I loved called, «Prost Sauce.» On top of that, the have sauerkraut, both hot and cold, shredded cheese, onions, and sliced banana peppers that you can pile on as much as you like. With the Vegetarian Sausage, the toppings help to detract from the dryness of the sausage. I do not know, but I’m guessing they just keep those veggie sausages frozen, and microwave them when some fool like me comes in. I loved the bench seating at this place, too, but be careful. It’s not really sturdy. The place could have been a little cleaner, but I’ve certainly seen worse. All in all, I loved it, and would definitely go back. I also would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes Oktoberfest, who likes beers from that German/Austrian part of the world, and who loves brats with plenty of toppings. That one sausage and that one beer filled me up. Oh, and by the way, I almost forgot to mention the fabulous Bavarian Pretzels. My wife and I shared one, and it was GREAT. It’s not doughy like a lot of big pretzels. It was crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, and, dipped in mustard, absolutely perfect. For $ 1.50 more, they’ll give you cheese on the side, but I was not too impressed with the cheese side. Next time, I’ll just go with the mustard. This place is definitely something new and different in my book, and something I will recommend to friends.

This place was good for a lunch and beer kind of date. We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and we were surprised that the the place was almost dead on a Broncos play night! first and foremost, the beer was great! The sausage was good– I had the Italian and hubs had the Prost… I will say his was better than what I ordered. The side portions left a lot to the imagination, served in these small side containers… definitely not what we imagined for the price. I’d probably go back, but only for beers!

Prost = Good beer! Good food! Good people! You could actually have a good time here. Enjoy the beer and enjoy the food! I come here to relax and have fun with a couple of friends. The bartender is nice. I like his tricks and he really knows his beers. There are plenty of sausages as well so sausage lovers like I love this place even more. Sadly Prost is not perfect. They don’t have enough staff. Must hire more to cater to their customers.

Great Beer. Great Service. Great Setup. Yes, this place has the same name as the brewery down the street. But, it is not the same place at all. Prost is like a small Hoffbrau House. All the tables are community-style. Several traditional German beers on tap are served in various sizes up to a Litre mug. The name confusion is unfortunate and will continue to be an issue. Even my Über went to the wrong Prost. And, since this is the Highlands Square neighborhood, parking is a pain. But, it is definitely worth a visit if you like big, malty, German beers.

LOVETHISPLACE. Let me preface my review by saying that I grew up in Germany; in fact, our entire party spent a considerable time living in Germany, so we know our stuff. We went on a Sunday around noon for a casual family birthday get-together, and we were NOT disappointed. The beer selection was outstanding(they even had what was apparently the«only Belgian pumpkin ale in the world»), and the bartender was incredibly forthcoming with information, suggestions, recommendations and anecdotal tidbits. There is a beer garden out back that will be fantastic on nice days. It was overcast, cool, and breezy when we went, so we sat inside. The inside seating is somewhat limited, but luckily it was not busy when we went. Most of us had the 0.5 liter light hefeweizen(there was a dark hefeweizen also, no not a dunkel), and it was really nice. Light, refreshing, not too banana-y. Perfect. My father in law had a liter of the Marzen, which he really enjoyed too. I should note here that it was his birthday, and when the bartender learned of this, he told him his(entire liter) beer was on him! Super nice. For food, our party had the Spiegl Beer Brat, Wild Boar sausage, Prost signature sausage, Veal bratwurst, Reuben sandwich, and a pretzel. We also all got the German Potato Salat. The sausages were all really yummy, as was the sandwich, the pretzel was AMAZING(although they were very heavy-handed with the salt), but the potato salad was not great. Let me repeat the part about us all having lived in Germany for a long time — it’s not authentic. Too tangy/vinegar-y, too dry, and not savory enough. I’d pass on it the next time. The Mustard Bar is worth mentioning in its own right — LOVE!!! Various types of mustards, including traditional stone-ground and beer mustard. There is fresh, hot sauerkraut inside a little crockpot(hilarious and brilliant), plus cold toppings(cold sauerkraut, shredded cheese, banana peppers, etc). It’s the perfect way to customize your fare. On her way out, a little old lady told me that the apple strudel with ice cream is «just delicious» so I’ll have to give that a try next time. I am so pleased that we tried this place, and it’s definitely on our list of «must return» places. I already told my parents about it(who literally just moved back to the States after living in Germany for 20 years), so we’ll bring them next time. See you soon, Prost*! *Note: NOTRELATEDTOPROSTBREWING

I usually reserve my five star reviews for the best of the best, but in this case… Let me start by complaining. No one on the staff speaks a lick of Deutsche! Forgiven though, because they could not have been more gracious hosts. This spot actually has a very German beer garden feel. If you have been to Germany, you are familiar with the communal wooden table drinking. We popped in and ended up with three different groups tossing back beers and having a grand time. Great spot!
