I went to this salon because I wanted bayalage hair coloring. I scheduled partial coloring and a trim. Here are the pros: 1 The salon is light and airy. 2 All of the staff went out of their way to be friendly and welcoming. I don’t know if it was genuine or fake but that doesn’t matter because they tried. I give them an A for effort. Deanna was especially sweet. 3 My hair looks great. I left with a great color, cut and much healthier hair! The reason for a one star review is because the cons far outweighed the pros and made the experience turn sour. Here are the cons: 1. I looked on their website for pricing. Here is what I expected: $ 90 for partial hair color $ 50-$ 100 for hair cut $ 140-$ 180 total When I checked out they charged me $ 240. I also got a $ 25 parking ticket when I parked in a place they suggested over the phone when I called. I had a 20% off coupon so I expected to pay $ 112-$ 144…not $ 240!!! Total damage $ 240, plus a $ 25 ticket = $ 265! 2. At least 5 people worked on my hair, one of which was a trainee. Would you pay $ 240 to have a trainee work on your hair? 5 people makes for a very disjointed process. 3. I was there 4 hours and 20 minutes because people kept leaving me and doing other peoples hair. Are you kidding me? I’ve never in my life been in a hair salon this long. 4. Because I was in the salon over 4 hours instead of 2 I got to experience rush hour traffic and was late for a date. Can they do hair… Yes. Will you get quality service at a price you expect… Probably not.

My appointment started right on time, no waiting whatsoever. Since this is Cherry Creek, I would arrive 10 minutes early to find parking. I couldn’t comment on the other stylists besides everyone having a good attitude in the salon. No weird tension that is typical in all women work environments. I found Danni Sjoden via Pinterest while looking for Balayage hair. I don’t remember actually being satisfied with any haircuts or colors in the past until now. This girl knows her stuff. Danni is SO friendly, patient, and understanding. There wasn’t an awkward moment in conversation and she dealt with all my unnecessary questions and concerns. If you’re looking for Guy Tang results in Colorado, THIS is your girl. I have really dark brown long hair with bangs. She added a caramel«balayage melt.» It looks gorgeous in both indoor and outdoor light. My search for the perfect hair stylist is done.

For some reason even though I have not been to this salon in almost a year, I still get emails and requests to do a write up on Unilocal.So here it is. I went there 4 or 5 times and saw Phoebe each time. Honestly, my hair looked fantastic. However, I just could not deal with the horrible service. Each and every time I had to wait at least one hour. I finally got smart and started bringing my laptop so I could work while I waited. But the straw was that TWO of the times I was waiting, it was not b/c she was running behind, it was b/c she was out shopping. And she literally did not try to hide it either when she came back in the salon. So if you can deal with a minimum 3 hour salon visit b/c the salon owner does not think anything about you or your time, then go for it and your hair will probably turn out great. I just could not stand to be treated that way. My time is important too.

Danni is the ONLY thing standing between me and a hideous medusa fate. She is the best possible resource for the legit Brazilian blowout(be warned – all of the newcomers to the keratin game will leave you disappointed at best and brassy hued at worst). Danni isn’t afraid to do what it takes to transform your tresses into silky perfection – I used to travel all over the country in search of the best keratin treatments so can say with authority that she’s the best there is – you’re welcome Denver!

Annie has completely transformed my hair into beautiful blond, long hair! As a person who is naturally a dark brunette with course hair, it is hard to find a stylist that knows how to manage your hair. I can tell you, after having my hair completely destroyed, Annie made it back to beautiful. For all those blondes that have hesitancies as to who you trust to bleach your hair, I would STRONGLY suggest Annie at Phoebie Therese. She has made me nothing other than extremely happy from years of experience.

Went here 3 times for Balayage highlights. The first time Natalia worked on me I was very pleased with the outcome. The second time was again great. The third time she applied a treatment to sort of «tone down» the blond in my hair. To be fair, my hair was pretty blond at the time. She had me select the color-I had two choices. I opted for the darker color, and she seemed surprised. She asked me why I didn’t prefer warm tones. I told her that the color looks orange to me. She said«ok.» When all was said and done, my hair was suspiciously close to the brassy orange color that she showed me earlier. I called Natalia to tell her how I felt, and she had me come in immediately. When I came back to tell her that I felt my hair was too brassy and orange, and I wanted her to fix it, she told me that I was mistaken. I just wasn’t used to seeing my hair this dark. That may or may not be true, but if I feel that my hair looks orange and brassy, and I am paying you to do my hair, orange it is. I paid $ 200 for this hair experience. To address the issue she applied the same treatment, same color. And I couldn’t help but feel that the girls in the salon were suddenly being rude to me. Either way, Just because a salon resides in Cherry Creek does not mean that its employees are infallible. When a mistake is made, it doesn’t really matter what the stylist thinks it looks like, it is the paying customers opinion that matters. I might have returned if Natalia’s attitude wasn’t so poor when I presented her with my problem. Instead I went to Michael Morris salon on Broadway. And I can’t say I regret it!

I am very disappointed to learn of the type of behavior that the owners at Phoebe Therese Salon recently demonstrated. I am a long time client of Annie, a stylist that was at this salon until very recently. She had made plans to move to a different salon and had notified me recently of this change. Today, however, I received a call from the owners stating that she had been fired, and if I rebooked with them instead of going to find her new location, I would receive a discount. I was aware of her moving salons prior to their malicious attempt at reducing her clientele. The behavior today truly opened my eyes to the lack of respect and professionalism that Phoebe Therese salon supports. To have managers call clients and lie, all to hurt someone that was once a loyal employee is very unbelievable. I am disgusted.

I have been to Phoebe a couple of times. The first time, I was pleased. The second time, she was 45 minutes late and then spent the whole time running across the street for something and chatting with everyone else and on her phone. I don’t think she knew my name. When I get a cut and low-light and spend $ 200. plus on the service, I want service.(Pretend that you are interested in having me there!!) There are so many other places in Cherry Creek that I can go to. They should strive for service as being number 1. I won’t go back.

Wow just got a nasty message about my «nasty» review. therese said she that i never qualified i needed hair correction the first time I called and it went down hill after that. I am in the service industry as well and when people complain about the service we do everything we can to make it better. I am sorry she was in the hospital, but all I got was rudeness from her appointment setter, but the wosrst was her overpriced rude partner who hung up on me! My husband and friends heard the whole conversation, with Phoebe and could not believe how rude she was. I have no desire to set foot in this salon, and with a rude phone call about my review I feel sorry for them. Their self righteousness will be downfall. What has happened to my previous review, and what has happened to the customer is always right!

I recently received a haircut from Abby. I left thinking it was the best hair cut I have EVER had! I am now sitting at a restaurant in LODO where two strangers told me this is a «phenomenal haircut.» Their words. Did i mention this is the sixth time someone has said this? Go here! Go here! Go here!

I did not have a good experience here. I spent over three hours being passed around to three or four different stylists, at least one of which was a trainee. I did not feel valued or taken care of as a client. At least two of the stylists were very good, but it was made clear to me that this is how they do business there so I won’t be back. I also did not appreciate being given the hard sell on an expensive treatment. All this combined with the two owners taking frequent smoke breaks in front of the salon made the place felt pretty tacky. I was also a little turned off being offered a paper cup of water from the water cooler they store in the restroom. I would think for $ 200 plus tip they could afford bottled water.

Worst place ever. Phoebe cut my hair twice. First time wasn’t bad so I decide to give them a second chance. What was I thinking!!! Phoebe barely spoke to me «she looked pissed of at the world» terrible customer service!!! She cut my hair so short that I’ll need to wear a hat for the next 3 weeks. It looked so bad that she did not made me pay.

I would not recommend this salon to anyone. I had an appointment at 1:00, and did not leave the salon until 6:30 pm. That is over FIVE hours. I opted for Balyage highlights because when I googled«Balyage salons in Denver,» this one came up. Theresa who claims to be a Balyage expert, only wanted to put the actual color on my hair, and nothing else. Phoebe gave me a consultation and seemed very sweet and knowledgeable. Then Theresa did my highlights which I was initially horrified by(until the assistant Annie toned my hair 3 separate times). It seems as though Annie the assistant is expected to; mix color, wash hair, dry hair, etc.(for 3 different stylists, mind you) while Theresa(the head honcho) chats, carries on, and looks at photos, with friends who enter the salon. I was definitely not her first priority, and was seen, colored, washed and dried by three different people. When I walk into a salon in Cherry Creek, I expect one person, namely my stylist, to consult, cut, and dry my hair. This whole process took a ridiculous amount of time, with no apology, or even mention for that matter that I had been there for 5+ hours. Overall a very bad experience. Was not happy with my color in the end, which was not what I had originally asked for.

I had THEBEST experience at Therese Salon. Last week, I had my color done with the INOA line, which is amazing!!! I have really fine hair, so coloring is always a concern of mine. This product has no ammonia and doesn’t damage your hair! I walked out of the salon with the best color I’ve ever had. They knew exactly what to do! Everyone there is so kind and welcoming! I can’t recommend them enough! A++++++
