In town for work and I just went here for the second time this week. The marinated rare steak was great in the restaurant and great for takeout. The dipping sauce for the spring rolls was also great. Very good!

Not the best phở I’ve ever had but decent and near my home. I’d eat here again. The service is always great!

Really enjoyed my bowl of brisket and rare steak phở. I ordered to go, they were fast with the order. The restaurant is very clean. Glad I went there.

The Phở is on point! It’s definitely better than O.K., I was pretty surprised by this hole in the wall. They also have some pretty good pork dishes

I love this place! It has great prices and the service is always spot on. I love that it’s close to my house, and there is plenty of parking. I also love the fact they have a size small because I can never finish the big bowls that seem to be the only option in most phở restaurants.

Everything I wrote in my initial review was true when it opened, but perhaps less so now. I think the original cook/crew went back to the Philippines(I vaguely remember that is where they were from) and the current crew can get food out much faster, but you can tell corners have been cut. The place that once served the best phở I’ve had now serves up what can best be described as serviceable phở. It’s not bad, but not great either. I would say it is no better or worse that what you could get any of the numerous places in town. Bottom line: worth stopping by if you are in the neighborhood, but not really worth a trip. I still eat here regularly because it is close, convenient, friendly, fair prices, and their avocado boba is delicious. I still eat here regularly, it just isn’t what it once was.

I live nearby so Phở OK is perfect for quick takeout. However if you are a phở connoisseur(I’m not), this isn’t a destination and you’d probably be better off choosing somewhere on Federal.

Well thank you Dat. Glad to know that at least somebody there still care about the business. OK, let’s talk about food. I live in southern california where, let’s just say, Vietnamese cuisine is well polularized. Vermicelli rice noodles are supposed to be tender and smooth. while the rice noodles don’t have much flavor of their own, they absorb the flavors from the broth. Unfortunately, the vermicelli(or bun) noodles we had that day was very undercooked that I could taste the rice flour. And to your«empty bowls» comment, can we just be honest here and tell the truth? I ordered a large #8 phở, after a few bites I just couldn’t eat the hard rice stick any more. I threw my napkins in the soup out of disappointment. I had to go to another restaurant to get food afterwards. To comment on your waiters service. it is for sure the worst service I have had in a restaurant. He was rude and impatient when taking our order and ignored us the whole meal. I even had to yell to get his attention to get our check. He spilled water on me and my friends and we were stunned that he just walked away like nothing happened. There was not a single polite word out of his mouth that day. that’s why we only tipped him 5% that day(purely out of courtesy). But you are the owner of the business, who am I to tell you how your service is supposed to be, right?

Have done take-out phở 3 times and ate there 3 times. Overall it’s just ok(I know). Portion size is not big(just enough meat in a medium bowl for me to come back), but at least the flavor is decent to good and it’s authentic(run by Vietnamese folks). Have tried the beef and chicken phở — I think the beef is slightly better than the chicken compared to other places. Fast service, ample seating. The only reasons I keep coming back are 1) the prices are $ 0.50−0.75 less than other places(even in Aurora!), and 2) there aren’t any other good Phở places nearby. Oh and to all you non-Asians, would PLEASE try phở just once without squirting a half bottle of sriracha and hoisin into the broth! You ruin the whole point of phở, which is the broth. Would you do that to a bowl of chicken soup? No… So leave the broth untouched and only dip the meat into a mixture of lime juice with some hoisin and/or sriracha. What do you think those small dipping bowls they give you are for?!

This is my favorite Phở restaurant. Service is fast and friendly, the broth is rich and flavorful, and the lychee smoothies are killer!

Man, I give a lot of 4 star reviews, because to me you need to be BLOWNAWAY to get 5. But as far as phở places go in Denver, especially on the low-price-quick-service-friendly-staff-good-food spectrum, this place hits every note. We come here regularly and it’s SUCH good hangover food. Nothing like some blow-your-face-off spicy noodle soup to clear up your head. Everything I’ve had here has been good. Their take out service is fast. Service has been a bit spotty when we’ve dined in but it’s because it’s usually 1 very hard working guy acting as waiter, bus boy, cashier, and take-out organizer. So you can’t really fault him for that. This place is pretty popular. And don’t say«get more staff.» It’s a decently big footprint for a place where phở costs $ 9, and I’m sure the rent isn’t cheap. Keep your expectations realistic and enjoy this place for what it is. Good, hearty, cheap phở.

I think this phở is not OK. I came here at around 5PM so it wasn’t really a prime eating hour which may have had something to do with this. I got the filet mignon. The filet itself was good. The broth was very bland. There wasn’t a depth of flavor that I expect and receive from other phở establishments. The noodle texture was very al dente which was surprising. There also were an inordinate amount of green onions. I’m usually a fan of some green onions but it seemed like they took a huge handful and threw them in there. This was the first and only time to date I didn’t finish my phở.

I am a sucker for good service, so Phở OK trumps many other phở restaurants for its friendly and speedy staff. They offer the typical selection of phở bowls(meatball, rare steak, chicken, veggie, etc.) and rice plates. But what makes them stand out is the quality and taste of the food. The owner will tell you repeatedly that they do not use MSG(sodium salt) in its dishes. And you can tell there is a difference – the phở broth tastes very clean! This location of Phở OK also gives people in the area a great phở option versus driving down to Federal Blvd where there is a phở shop on every corner. I used to giggle when I would see the name of this place, but it is certainly much more than OK here.

When we entered, there was one male server who was working all the tables. He was rude, tossed the menus at our table and slid down two waters. A few minutes later he took our order and left. I ordered 6B(vermicelli with pork and egg rolls) and my wife ordered number 15(brisket and flank phở). The egg rolls were some of the most disgusting egg rolls we’d ever had in our lives. My wife ended up spitting it out. Her phở was good and she enjoyed the broth. My vermicelli was very disproportionate. There was a ton of vermicelli, four slices of pork, and one small egg roll cut up into three pieces. The pork was good, wish there were a little more. Three fourths of the bowl was vermicelli. I ended up taking it home so I could make some pork and add it to the left over vermicelli. There was probably enough for three meals. When I told the waiter I wanted a box, he stuck his thumb in my noodles, picked up the bowl, and took it to the back. A few minutes later he brought it back in a to-go box. Gross. We never got a ‘thank you’ or ‘come again’ or ‘have a nice day’. Nothing of that sort. Decent food, a bit expensive, and terrible customer service.

Clean restaurant. Our waitress was more than pleasant and accommodating. I ordered the grilled chicken and eggroll white rice plate. The chicken was sliced and served on a bed of was very flavorful and not over or under cooked. We will return ;)
