It was good while it lasted… this place no longer exsists at this location.

I’m so happy when I saw this place. I usually have to go to Federal Blvd to either Phở Duy, Phở 79 or Phở 95 to fulfill my phở and bun cravings. This place is like 5 minutes away from my house and the phở is delicious, the broth, meat and vegetable portion is generous. The BBQ pork is yummy and the service is great, too. My husband, who’s not a big fan of Vietnamese food actually likes this place, which means a lot to me. Even though he still doesn’t enjoy the phở(he calls it soup), he does enjoy(and sometimes has cravings on) the BBQ pork steak and rice. This place has become our regular destination for dinner.

This broth was something special. I can’t put my finger on it but it may be one of the best broths in town. It was sweet, beefy and rich. The ball-n-chain was happy with whatever it was he ordered(which was great, by the way) but stole several spoonfuls of my both and pinched some of my steak too. He wished he too would have had the phở. Lots of meat and tendon served in a giant bowl with a veggie plate with everything including saw grass. The utensils are on the table and the place was spotless, seriously clean without smelling like they walked around with a bottle of Pine Sol spritzing the air. The door to the kitchen was open when the ball-n-chain walked down the hallway on the way to the restroom and he said was super clean, nothing on the floors and it smelled great. The service was fantastic — the owner(manager?) even came by to chat and see how things were. Water was refilled promptly and they smiled at us. No need to brave Federal and face rude service — give this place a try. You will not be disappointed.

so-so Phở. When I go to eat Phở, I usually put my face right over the bowl and inhale the steam from the bowl. If my eyes roll back in my head, or my eyelids flutter in delight, I know I’m in for a good meal. No such luck here. The broth tasted… new. Does that make sense? When I take a slurp, I want it to taste like it’s been stewing for days or months or generations even. The spring rolls were even a bit lackluster. This place wasn’t bad, but really you are just a hop, skip and bullet-proof jacket away from the wonders of Federal. Go over there and give yourself a treat.

Great Phở in south Lakewood. Really clean with the added bonus of all the utensils being on the table.

I am a huge fan of Phở. I seriously need a 12 step program for the stuff. This new Phở place just opened up close to my home so I thought I would check it out. I LOVE it! It is the cleanest Phở restaurant I have ever been in and the phở is great. Not quite as much meat at some other places but they make up for it with noodles. They even brought out a small bowl of broth and noodles for my 2 year old. They also cut up his noodles for him so it would be easier for him to eat. Great customer service and wonderful phở.
