There are many restaurants I like to eat at; Parisis is my favorite above all! I like Parisis because of the food, service, and how clean it is. Eating at Parisis is exciting. The food at parisis is delicious. My favorite thing to eat is the margaret pizza. It has a flavorful crust, with a dark red tomato sauce, drops of mozzarella, and a leaf of basil. The service at parisis is nice and helpful. There are mostly Italian people since it is a Italian restaurant; the people are very nice. It has better service than any restaurant I´v been in. They are also very helpful. For example my family and I got the wrong pizza and the lady offered to give it free and we said no. I think service is very important in a restaurant. The last reason I like Parisis is the cleanness. A restaurant always needs to be clean in order to get customers. Every Time I´m there when someone leaves they clean it right away. Parisi is a great example of its historic italian neighborhood.
Parisi is the best restaurant I’ve ever been to so far. I feel so excited when I eat there. Everyone loves their own restaurants; in my opinion, I love parisi.

Great place for local brews, amazing pizza, pasta, and salads. It has a laid back environment. Easy to find a place to sit. It’s casual. Good for dates or groups. It’s a mix between sit down and fast order. Would definitely go back to this place next time I am in Denver.

Happy to report my second visit here resulted in a much improved experience. Great service, great food. Really like the fresh bread, risotto ball app and our sandwiches. My wife had the sausage and pepper sandwich and it was really fantastic. A nice taste of Italy today with much improved service.

Who ever it was in our party to choose this restaurant made the right choice! What a great choice! My brother and I decided to share the ensalata pera to start. Love! Their balsamic really paired wonderfully with the pears gorgonzola and walnuts over the bed of romain hearts. Our bartender also directed me to a nice red that was close to a montipulciano and pairs nicely with my main coarse. Main coarse! Homemade ravioli stuffed with butternut squash drizzled with butter drown sugar and balsamic reduction. So deliciously rich and flavorful! I am stuffed! The guys in my party went with the lasagna. Look and tastes delicious! Defiantly the place to come back to again and again and again!

Much adu about nothing. We ate downstairs which doesn’t seem to be the same experience as the upstairs setup, but reading the other great reviews makes me think I missed something. The meat and cheese plate was uninspired. The calamari appetizer had no flavor. The Caesar salad was curiously bad: a chunk of lettuce, sauce at the end, grape tomatoes a hard boiled egg and an anchovy served in a deconstructed unpleasing way. The steak was tough and over cooked. The salmon was adequate but nothing special. The service was acceptable but not great. I wanted to have a special dining experience but it didn’t happen for me. Disappointing.

Parisi on Tennyson st, in N.W. Denver WHAT a disappointment. We used to love it and it changed so much and not for the good…. Wish I had read some of the reviews before going back, how many people repeated my words below and like them I’m not returning ever again. I was served a plate of cheese. On a slow Monday night I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan which was missing the Eggplant Parmesan!!! Told the server and she said she would let the kitchen know(must have heard it earlier from another patron). Asked for some Eggplant Parmesan, they brought me out some cooked eggplant and the story gets worse!!! The guy(don’t who he was) said it was my fault. Hey I didn’t cook it(if I did it would have Eggplant) or work there and have never been treated so bad to make matter’s worse… Must have been too embarrassed to admit they knew what I was saying was the truth. My friend with me said his dinner was mediocre at best. Guess the good old days of Parisi is in the past! The only way they can stay in business is screw the patrons. Beware of this place for anything.

Pretty good pasta. I went here on a Saturday with a group of 4 around 7p. There was no parking available in the private lot behind the restaurant(about 15 spaces) but I was able to easily find street parking about a block away. It was about a 15 – 20 minute wait for a table. It’s kinda a mix between a fast casual and waiter service. You order at a register like you would at any fast casual place but they don’t take your order until a table is available for your party. And that can sometimes hold up the line. For example, if you need a 4 top, if the party behind you is 2 and a 2 top is available, the party of 4 gets their table first, regardless that there is an open one that could serve another party. Overall, the food was pretty good. The cashier was very patient with all of my questions about the food and was very knowledgable about it as well. I ended up getting the gnocchi(made with flour, potato, and some egg yolks as a binder) with marinara sauce, tomatoes, and basil. The gnocchi was pretty good and was obviously homemade. The portion was disappointingly small for the price I paid. There are servers that bring out your food, you don’t have one specifically assigned to your table. They did bring out fresh bread(not warmed) with our food. One thing I didn’t really like is you have to order all of your food at once in the beginning. If you want something else, you have to go back up to the register(though I doubt they would make you wait in line again) to order. Everyone else in my party also enjoyed their food(salad pizza and calzone, which is definitely a hefty portion size, unlike the pasta). They also got glasses of wine, which they all enjoyed as well. All in all, a solid italian place but I wasn’t «wow“ed. I’ll likely give another place a try the next time I’m in the mood for italian.

I’m rounding up here, would give it 2.5. They have remodeled and the place is much more open but I think their order process has changed and it’s a little odd. They have one person at the register where you place your order and then find your assigned table where they bring out your food. I’m sure it works fine most days but on a busy night people stand in a line our the door to order and then don’t have a place to sit. Food taste was good but not a great value. I had a ravioli special with sausage and pink tomato sauce. Flavors were good and portion was decent, but expensive I think for $ 14. What blew my mind was my husbands spaghetti bolognais(sp) with 2 meatballs costing $ 15.50! We also ordered a Caesar salad that was $ 8 and except for the romaine lettuce did resemble a Caesar salad at all. It had chopped tomatoes and hb eggs? My cherry Italian soda was good but my husband ordered a Basilico which includes basil in the vodka drink but it wasn’t even muddled. It took me asking for their complementary bread for us to get some at our table. When I accidentally dropped some of the egg from the quasi-Caesar salad onto the floor, one staff person after another walked by and never bothered to pick it up. Actually could have been a slipping hazard. The stars I’m giving here are for the look of the restaurant and the taste of the food.

Love this place! Everything we have tried has been very good. They give you free bread that’s house made, and there’s oil for dipping at the table, yum! House wines, red and white have been good. The daily tomato soup to delicious!

Hit, or miss. We discovered this place and fell in love with it for a while. It had very good food at reasonable prices. However, It took one unfortunate afternoon to ruin everything. It was during a busy weekend time, the kitchen was probably overwhelmed and the quality just fell flat. The exact same dish that I would normally order and love turned unpalatable; my partner had the same experience with her’s. We both lost our appetite for the place and have not been back in months.

Can’t believe someone gave this place less than four stars. This establishment is a Northwest Denver stronghold. They been cranking out awesome sandwiches then pizza then food to please every pallet. The waitstaff year is always awesome the food is always beyond expectation. Tonight I have the chicken piccata because it was on special. Holy pollo! They knocked it out of the park on this one and I actually prefer my wife’s over all else, don’t tell her this one might be better. And to put the icing on the cake, or in this case gelato, I was here tonight picking up a gift certificate for a fundraising event. That’s why these guys are the best in town. Great neighbors great food great humans!

I’m a big fan of Parisi. I don’t believe I’ve ever had anything there that I didn’t truly enjoy. I give them 4 stars for value. It’s a very good casual restaurant, not to be confused with Barolo, a very good formal restaurant. Note that you order at the counter and then sit down. You can order more from the waitstaff later, but I’ve found that a bit hit-or-miss. On one occasion, I had to ask 3 different people for another glass of wine. For starters, I strongly recommend the Tre Colori salad. It’s a must-have for fennel lovers. I’m also a big fan of their beans and arugula dish, which is a nice side to share. The pizzas are very good. Can’t go wrong with pizza here… but I think my favorite dish at Parisi was their meatloaf(polpettone). Simply outstanding comfort food done right.

After my 3rd visit I’m not sure we will be returning to parisi any time soon. 1st two visits were great, we ordered pasta and were very pleased. Hence the 3 stars. The last visit to parisi we ordered a margarita pizza to share and arancini balls. Arancini balls left a lot to be desired. Tasted like mushy rice, thank god they were served with marinara sauce or else I don’t think they would have gotten eaten. Then the pizza. It had a small amount of cheese and only 2 sprigs of basil. Sauce was tasteless. I was soooo disappointed. And it cost us $ 40 with only 1 beer included! That was the straw that broke the camels back. There are less expensive places that serve much better pizza. And you don’t have to order at a counter and get the weird partial service.

Comfortable atmosphere, look and attitude. Even though it was crowded with a line it wasn’t noisy. I’m raving about the sauce for the mussels(cozze). Wow! Everyone at the table dipped their bread into the sauce and some poured it over their meals. Fantastic. It’s always the sauce that makes the mussels taste great and some restaurants can’t do it. This is a slightly spicy, wonderfully flavorful tomato broth. The menu description is «PEI mussels in a spicy plum tomato sugo served with grilled ciabatta.» I’d return strictly for this. Oh, everybody’s else’s salads, pasta and chicken were good.

Good food, fast service, kid friendly, lots of options including gelato bad, full alcohol bar, and high end Italian dining downstairs. It’s a great place to go to get your Italian dining fix weather it’s adorable pizza or fancy dishes in an intimate Italian setting(again, downstairs), this is my go to spot. The only reason i don’t give the upstairs restaurant 5-stars is it isn’t very intimate or personal. It is usually busy, you order at the register and then have your food brought out to you at your table. You don’t have a dedicated waiter.

Great place! Had an excellent lunch here. We sat at the bar and Steve provided great service. My lunch mate and I split the Napoli sandwich and the bibb lettuce Gorgonzolla salad. Both were excellent.

Our favorite place to go to whenever we are back in Denver. We always start with their Fritto Misto, followed by gnocchi bolognese for me & a mascarpone and prosciutto pizza for my husband. Great food!

We stopped in at around 8:40pm. We ordered and Antipasto plate and a small pizza to share. We sat down, we were waited on VERYQUICKLY! Wine, water, bread all seemed to come out immediately. As we sat there eating and chatting along with about 5 other tables, we realized the place closes at 9! You would never know it. No one was rushed or encouraged to «be done». We noticed light stocking and cleaning but nothing at all to indicate that they were getting ready to close. We apologized for placing an order so late and their response was, «no worries, take all the time you want, no rush.» I truly believe they meant it as they came to refill our drinks and do the same for the tables around us. Certainly classy customer service! I felt welcomed and appreciated. The food was PERFECT! Great meats and cheeses and fantastic wood fired pizza. Next time I’ll save room for that fantastic looking gelato!

This place is adorable! Last Friday some friends and I were strolling the area dipping in and out of local galleries. We came across Parisi just when we were starting to crave a cocktail. The place is very big inside, and smells amazing! If I were hungry I would have ran up to the cash register and ordered everything. Which by the way, is how you order. It looks like a place where you would be waited on, but that is not the case. You give your order, grab a number, and have a seat. Although, downstairs looks like a whole different, tableclothed story. We approached the bar and the bartender demanded our ID’s and was not particularly nice. He had greasy long brunette hair, which is maybe an Italian thing, and he is just trying to fit the theme? We ordered our cocktails and they were astounding. I had the Pearly($ 9) which had a bunch of yummy stuff in it, including a pear the Italian cut up as he made the drink, fresh! My friend had some kind of mojito($ 10) which was out of this world and definitely wasn’t lacking the buzz aftereffect. I am totally trying the food the next time we end up over here. Great atmosphere and amazing cocktails prepared by real Italians.

For a starter we ordered the Fritto Misto. A plate of fried calamari, artichoke, shrimp, asparagus, and carrots served with an aioli. Kind of flavorless. For my entrée I chose the Spaghetti Carbonara. I didn’t like the texture of the sauce and the pasta was too al dente. It also had bits of egg shell in it. My sister ordered the meat loaf and was enjoying it until she found a hair in it. My mom ordered the lasagna and luckily found no extras in hers. I have to say that when my sis pointed out the hair the manager was very nice and helpful. The service is also very friendly and efficient here. I just don’t think I will be back.

Serious Italian style pizza. Traditional types of Italian pizza on thin crust. The sauce is unbelievably good. The pasta and bolognese sauce is to die for. We love coming here for a quick Italian meal and gelato. There’s some great selections of very reasonably priced Italian wines as well. The format is order at the front, take a seat and relax. This style of setup makes for a good family friendly environment. The mom can sit back and enjoy her pasta and wine and if the kids want gelato on the way out you can stop at the«to go» counter and order gelato and even the pasta sauce you loved so much on your meal.
