Original Chubby’s

They gave us someone else’s order, twice the price, and wouldn’t listen when we tried to explain it didn’t seem right and wasn’t ours. They charged us for extra bacon, extra potatoes, and other stuff we never ordered. We had to request a receipt to see it. At this point, we just wanted to eat so just let it go. This was after 20 minutes in the drive through. We pull away and look inside and are missing a burrito! We go back inside and they ACCUSE US of LYING and saying we must have removed a burrito. REALLY??? This place is horrible. Never ever again. I’ve never been treated so rudely!!!

This chubbys is a waste of time! Beans are old and dry, pop has no carbonation, and the guacamole tastes store bought. Customer service is slow and not friendly… I’ve been to the real original chubbys, this doesn’t even compare!

I have been to original chubby’s in the past and the green chili was always a perfect harmony with my taste buds. Some people may not like it, but this place has always had a place in my heart. I went through the drive thru 2 days ago and beyond ridiculous is not even beginning to tell you the level of horrible service I received. Let me paint a picture for you. There were approximately 5 cars in line and I was number 6. A car pulled behind me so I was in for the haul (could not turn around and could not pull out). 15 minutes elapsed before I moved one car length (I wish I was exaggerating) finally after 30 minutes I made it to the ordering menu, which was held together by duct tape. The man on the other end was quite pleasant and I did not even complain. After an additional 15 minutes I made it to the window. I peered inside and the ceiling of the prep area was caked with so much dust it appears to be black mild growing! I paid for my meal and promptly left 45 minutes in total spent in the drive thru. I’m not going to lie, as disgusted as I was, I still ate the food and it was as good as I remembered. Now if you have 45 minutes to spare and you can over come the mental images and gag reflexes associated with said images, then this is definitely your place! They must pay off the health inspectors with their delicious food. That is the only reason I can guess they are still allowed to operate. If you want delicious food, are willing to roll the dice with your health, and have a lot of time to kill, then chubby’s is the place for you!
