My experience of attempting to get a bid from this company was poor. I called on a Monday, spoke to a man I presume is the owner, and described the gate repair I needed in Longmont. He yelled to his wife to ask where he was supposed to be working the next day, and it turned out to be Broomfield. He decided this was close enough to Longmont, and told me he would visit my rental property to take a look at my job on Tuesday morning. Having heard nothing by Wednesday afternoon, I called him back to follow up. He humphed and hawed and declared in an exasperated tone that I «have to understand that Longmont is 81 miles from my house and that’s just too far.» Then he abruptly ended the conversation. Brighton to Longmont is 27 miles according to Google Maps. This business failed to follow through and was unapologetic about wasting my time.

This is a caution for women, people with children or customers interested in complete work and reflects Mr. Presnall’s unprofessional and dangerous behavior on the job site and verbally assaultive conduct on the phone. BUYERBEWARE – worst case, he will cause bodily harm to himself or someone else on your property, best case – your job will remain unfinished and he’ll tear you apart when you ask about it. We retained Mark Presnall and Nothing But Fence Repair in April of 2014 to replace 3 fence posts, repair a swinging gate(hanging on one of those fence posts) and replace a few broken fence pickets. This was for a total cost of $ 640. That price was in line with one other estimate. Mark estimated the job to take a single day and began work on a Tuesday and returned the following week on 2 other days. In the interim, he left power tools(plugged in), very sharp tools, wood screws and work clothing scattered around the yard(knowing we have a child and 3 dogs playing in the yard). After his second day of work I asked him to return to address my concern that the new gate posts were asymmetrical. He returned and it was clear that he was in a hurry, appeared inebriated, and was frightening with his freeform use of a band saw to complete the revision(I was CONVINCED he would be seriously injured). Before replacing the few pickets as promised he insisted he be paid and promised to return the following day(he said he didn’t have the materials but assured me that he «runs a business on referrals» so I relented). We tried to reach him(with dozens of messages to his wife) about the remaining broken pickets for nearly 2 months without success. I was able to reach Mr. Presnall today and was harangued over the course of several phone calls(punctuated by expletives and him hanging up). He also referred to me as BABY – Not cool.
