Noodle Fresh Express

We popped in here for a quick dinner and it did not disappoint. We ordered bao, friend gyoza, tonkatsu ramen and the crossing borders ramen. All dishes were well prepared. The bao were very light and the filling was delicious. The gyoza were awesome. My husband wiped his dish clean and I am very excited to finish my leftovers. Definitely going back.

Who closest at 8. Wow. And if you like your food with any kind of slice, just skip this place.

This place has good ramen, but nor the best ramen.
Back in the old days we had Oshima ramen, which set the gold standard for Ramen in Denver.
Since they closed two new places have popped up, Katsu Ramen and this place. Of the two, Katsu Ramen is still king.
This place had a good atmosphere and the food was good but not great. Mostly the issue lies with the broth, it is too bland, it did not add much to the soup.
Overall it is good and i can recommend it if you are close to it and want ramen.

The bao buns are fairly legit, but very small. The ramen broth is bland, with the meat and veggies added when it is served. There are no condiments on the table to add flavor, so I poured in the sauce from the gyoza (which were pretty good). My husband had the tacos and would have them again. We will make this a place we go when we want something light and hit the appetizers. But in NO way is this real ramen. Staff were friendly and the service prompt.

This is my first review I’ve ever written and sadly it is not a positive one. The only positive part of my experience was the staff. They were friendly and very helpful but because of the horrific food and I can’t even give a 2 star. Way too pricey for a bowl of hot water, ramen, and beef fat. Couldn’t even finish my bowl, I had to leave. I would recommend saving your money and making your own ramen at home.

I really enjoy this place and their food is good BUT contrary to what it says, the ramen noodle soup is nothing like ramen. In fact it just isn’t ramen. What they serve is a simple asian noodle soup. Good soup! But it is not ramen soup. This is why I only gave four stars. You have been warned. :)

I saw this place the other day and wanted to try t but they were closed so I was really looking forward to try it today. I was kind of disappointed. When walking in there everything looks pretty Legit like the pictures, the open kitchen, and the menu items. They said that the noodles and the broth is made fresh without any preservatives.
I ordered the ramen with green chili in it (at the time it sounded good) and the Asian street tacos. First of all the broth was just not good at all, I felt like I could even do better. It really didn’t taste anything like Japanese ramen. They said the noodles are fresh made but it’s really not that great. It tasted like the ones you could get at the store. Tokio and Osaka ramen noodles are much much better. My friend got the tonkasu ramen and he said it wasn’t that great either.
The street tacos was basically the Chinese bun with beef with radish, carrots, and cilantro along with spicy Siracha sauce (which I didn’t even taste). I didn’t really taste like anything. Nothing special about it.
Overall the staff was really nice but honestly it wasn’t that good and not worth it!!! Don’t recommend!

I had been excited to try this place for some time. After eating there, I definitely developed a much better context for the reviews I’ve read. I tried some steam bun sandwiches and the tonkotsu ramen. The steam buns were fluffy and filled with good ingredients. The sauces were generally good except for the maple hoisin which appeared mayonnaise-​based and was odd. The tonkotsu ramen was very much not like any tonkotsu ramen I’ve ever had. The broth really wasn’t flavored right, and the chashu was overly salty. The noodles tasted fresh but really didn’t match the ramen style. The ramen egg was also kind of weird and tasted like vinegar.
I understand now why past patrons have been disappointed, as the flavors and style are really more reflective of what I would expect at a Chinese noodle shop and not ramen at all. So, overall the food wasn’t bad after changing my expectations in terms of what was being offered. I wonder if presenting the dishes differently would help future patrons be less disappointed. I would personally stick with steam bun sandwiches if I come back.

This place doesn’t look like much on the outside, but it’s a gem, and I want others to know about it so that Noodle Fresh doesn’t end up closing! The tonkotsu ramen broth is rich, flavorful and although I’m no expert, it tastes like some of the best I’ve had in some of the «best» places in other cities like Seattle, Honolulu, and San Francisco. Inside is minimalist and inviting. No pretension. Staff is super friendly and enthusiastic. Noodles are homemade and have that little tooth to them that makes them stand up to the broth. The meats were also very flavorful and they have an array of creative combos… don’t know if that’s authentic, but it is yummy.

I should have been tipped off by the bao buns. Or as we say in English «bun buns.» This quite frankly just isn’t ramen. It doesn’t taste bad… Well quite frankly it doesn’t taste like too much at all. The noodles were nice but the broth seemed a little flavorless and there was an important lack of traditional parts of ramen such as daikon radish. It seemed like an americanized attempt at ramen. As a frequenter of dim sum joints I can thoroughly express that the baos were rather lackluster. As in I’ve had better/​larger baos at local boba shops.
Basically, if you’re trying to introduce your kids/​very American friend to ramen, go for it! This is not a bad starting place. But if you like ramen and you know what it should taste like, well, I can’t say I’d thoroughly reccomend this over cooking up your own top ramen and adding in some spices.

As a los angeles little tokoyo native I know good ramen. In a pinch a cheaper ramen will do but THIS IS NOT RAMEN. It may appear to resemble ramen but the broth and noodles taste way off.
I’m not saying it was gross or bad but it merits one star because they are calling it ramen. Never again

This was the third time I have eaten here, and I was pleasantly surprised that they had expanded their menu. I had the tonkotsu for the first time, and so far it’s my favorite. The food is good — as others have noted the broth could be more flavorful. What set this experience apart was the service by Patricia. She clearly cares about doing a fantastic job, and went above and beyond to give me excellent service. Thank you, Patricia! I’ll be back…

If i could give this place zero stars i would. I went here last night and had what is most certainly the worst meal ive had in a while. I got one of the ramens with chicken. I wont get into it too much but it was horrible. The broth was terrible, there was almost no chicken in it, and the vegetables were most certainly frozen. Oh and the egg! it was brown with a paste like yoke, just disgusting. I ate about ¹⁄₃ of the ramen and got up and walked to Whole Foods to get something more appetizing.
I also ordered the steamed buns w/​chicken. They might as well just served the steamed buns with no chicken in it because there was literally a bite size piece of chicken in each with some carrot and cucumber thrown into the box as well.
If you are looking for ramen, this is not the place. I wont be going back.

Great steam buns! I’m from LA and I haven’t found these street tacos and where in Denver yet. Either way the staff was sweet and the taco steam buns were great and it seems like they had other healthy alternatives! Great place near cherry creek to try.

This place is a gem. The ramen is made fresh and is delicious, they are super friendly, and it’s always easy to park and super fast. I’ve been by three times now and will continue to make it one of my main ramen spots in town.

So, the search for an amazing bowl of ramen made me turn when I saw the sign.
The greeting that they made their own noodles was music to my ears.
An excellent bowl of ramen (the memory I chase from a childhood spent in Japan) requires excellent noodles (check) a sublime broth and fresh toppings.
I think they can improve the broth but they are not far off, rumor has it that the best broths spend days being made. It had subtle flavor maybe too subtle. I was also sad they did not have miso ramen which is my personal favorite. I had the beef shoyu which as seen below, is a pretty bowl.
Some things I didn’t get, cilantro on my mound of veggies. Why? Parsley maybe, green onions, sure, but Cilantro is one of those love it or hate it herbs. I don’t hate it but not sure it made sense on my ramen.
The beef was flank steak but it seemed really fatty to me, which is weird, since it is not a super fatty cut of meat. I was expecting kind of a phở like flank steak, marinated, grilled and then sliced super thin. Truth, I didn’t eat the meat.
All that being said, I will be back to see if they refine their broth and maybe other minor adjustments. I also plan to try the chicken next time. It is definitely worth a try if you happen across it and like I said, I will be back and try some of the other dishes. The bao bun was good, nice size, good filling. I also plan to try some of the other appetizers as well.

Wow! This place is a new favorite. I was a little skeptical because of some prior reviews, but I was really impressed.
The Bao buns were perfect, the tonkotsu ramen was flavorful and the pork slices were some of the best I’ve ever tasted.

I’ve been here three times in three weeks and I’m hooked. It’s not the fanciest noodle joint in town, and it’s probably not the best joint in town, but when you take the food, the quick service, easy parking and their friendly faces into account it’s my favorite.
Lauren at the counter recognizes me every times and is so friendly! Their tonkotsu broth is rich and porky and filled up with noodles and pork belly, it’s a tasty meal.
Have some soup here and then pop over to world market for some treats!

No, this place is a disappointment. They try to cut corners on many items on their menu. I would say this place is too Chinese to make ramen. The tonkatsu ramen is the worst in town.

After a «fun» trip to the urgent care my husband, myself and my two boisterous children were starving so we walked across the parking lot to grab a bite here.
We are a family that loves Phở, eats it often, but has yet to find a suitable Ramen joint in Denver. I love that they have a simple menu. I think they have great kids portion prices (2.00). The ramen was pretty good, I added some soy, hoisin, vinegar. The kids enjoyed the food and you cannot beat the price!
The staff was warm, friendly, tolerant of the kids and unobtrusive. They didn’t shame us for the noodles on the floor and they gave my older son about a hundred hi-​chew candies.
Oh! I don’t know if they hand make (they seemed microwaved) the BBQ pork buns but the kids went crazy for them. And sometimes that is all that I care about.
We will definitely return, and likely bring our friends with children.
