I used Neve’s as a service center for a Streamlight flashlight. I was told on the phone they replace parts in house, but upon arrival, was told I would have to leave it to be returned to Streamlight for replacement. After stating what was told to me on the phone regarding repair, and my displeasure at driving across town to do something I could have done myself from my home, a very nice employee said he would see what he could do and returned a short time later with a replacement flashlight. I did spend a few minutes browsing the store, mostly the firearms accessories. They do have a large selection of gear if you need to finger something locally. Prices seemed about right for brick and mortar. I’m always willing to support local businesses but there wan’t much there that I was looking for at the time or just couldn’t live without.

Not sure why the less than favorable reviews on here… I just PCS’d to the Denver area and came across Neve’s. The service I received as well as the product selection was awesome. I even had to return an item and the staff took care of me no questions asked. I will definitely be back!

I would prefer zero stars but apparently that is not an option. The service at Neves is horrible at all levels. Not only is the customer service poor quality, but they do not employ enough people to accommodate the number of customers that go in there.(Minus us now. We will never return.) The alterations department is AWFUL! After two weeks of waiting for my husbands police uniform shirts to be picked up and no phone call,(which we had required,) I popped in to pick them up. I waited 40 minutes. The employee came back up front, talking with a mouth full of food and said” sorry, I couldn’t find them.” I know, they never even did them until that day. They did a very shotty rush job on his shirts. The thread was all knotted up and the lines were more like waves. The material was folded over and bulky. It looked awful. I brought the shirts home for my husband to see the poor work. I returned a week later and asked for a refund,(which I received) and asked the employee if she thought that the work was acceptable. She stated that she agreed it was awful. I would like to believe that our men and woman first responders would get better service than this. They do not deserve to go out on the street looking like crap because of the lack of care and lack of pride that these incompetent employees demonstrate. I took the shirts to a different alterations business and she is doing them for me at no charge due to the awful service we experienced at Neves. What a crying shame that a police officer that has been in law enforcement for twenty years gets no respect on the street and then no respect to the uniform at this store. This may have been a reputable business at one time… It is not anymore. Huge business fail on customer care.

Neve’s is a big place. I am never in there when there aren’t a lot of customers and I understand it’s busy. But their customer service really sucks. I talked to four employees while there and all of them looked annoyed and acted like they had better things to do. I went to a different police supply store and there were a lot nicer and had the item I neeeded(Neve’s didn’t have what I needed and as one male employee flatly told me «What we have is out on the floor») One female employee saw me standing at their center glass counter and sure enough walked off, purposely ignoring me like she had something more important to do and I know she knew I was there. She never even acknowledged me. I won’t be back. I can get my stuff on-line cheaper, quicker, and without feeling like I’m a pain to the employees.

I’ve been in the Fire Service for 7 years, and I think I know what it takes to be a uniform supply store. I don’t think I know how to manage it, but I know how to spot a good one. If you are looking here, I think you may want to move on. Or if you feel lucky you can try this place. I worked as a contract firefighter, not in the US(shout out MCM and NPX), and ordered uniforms through them. More often than not they would send wrong sizes, late packages, wrong lettering(Fire Brigade instead of Fire Department)…the list goes on. The reason for the 2 stars instead of the 1 is because they got a little bit better customer service. My friends have been emailing the president of the company and I suppose he has straightened this whole thing out. This was before they had a fire department customer log-in. But I feel that I should put my experience on here, though to be fair it was over a year ago(didn’t have Unilocal back then) If your company already orders through them, try ‘em…maybe they changed since the last time I ordered through them
