It was OK. The people were nice and it was clean-ish. But, as I write this four hours after my manicure, my nails have yet to dry. The guy must have painted on half of the bottle on each of my nails — so thick that it didn’t have a chance to dry. I got a UV top coat, but then no one put me under a UV light to cure it. And I was instructed not to use the dry-spray that was sitting on the table. So I sat as long as I could until I had to get back to work. And as soon as I started typing(an hour later), they started to smudge. In the end, it was a waste of money, since now I have to go somewhere else to fix the smudged, fingerprinted polish that looked good for all of 15 minutes in the salon. It was an OK place, but I probably won’t go back.

The new ownership here has had a very positive impact on the salon. Got me in last minute for an appointment on NYE, and did a beautiful job with a French shellac manicure & gorgeous pedicure(I’m not even kidding my feet look awesome. The massage chairs felt great & the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Best prices compared to the other 2 nail salons nearby that I checked out. This will be my regular mani pedi place from now on :-)

My nails are fabulous the two sisters here are friendly. I was here in training and walked up on this place glad I did! Great service and they even stayed an hour after closing to finish my nails! Can’t get any better than that! Check this place out you will be very pleased with the final touches!

This is a great place for guys to get their eyebrows waxed without worrying about the technician plucking away and revealing too much arch(a.k.a. — drag queen eyebrows…). I have always been happy with all of my eyebrow waxes that have been completed here! Sooooo important to me because there are no hiding mistakes when it comes to that area of the body! Overall the technicians here are super nice and show great attention to detail with their services. The owner recently redecorated the place and it looks much nicer. I definitely recommend this place!

Ok, I liked this place the first time, but something’s definitely changed(sounds like a new owner based on other reviews). The lady was curt and not remotely friendly, did a super-rushed job, barely touched my cuticles, left a couple of nails with jagged edges, and I kept having to point out lumpy spots of polish(of course she acted annoyed to fix them). Did not remotely earn her $ 22 for my manicure($ 18 plus tip — I should have given zero!)

My nails look okay, but when I get my nails done, I want to just sit back and relax. I left upset because for the entire hour I was there one nail technician was playing a really obnoxious video game on here cell, while the other was playing a loud YouTube video. The girl doing my nails was speaking extremely loudly to the other girls the whole appointment. Then, she picked up a phone call and talked to this person really loudly on speaker phone. Not relaxing! The girl doing my nails also had really long, sharp, unmanicured nails and she was constantly digging them into my fingers. It hurt! I even said something to her, but she continued. The place was extremely dirty: junk piles every where, broken canvas painting hanging on the wall, and the walls were filthy. I wouldn’t go there again. I will definitely go out of my way to go to Snappy nails next time, I love that place!

So… I’m torn… I guess this is more like 2.5 stars? I know, I’m being THAT person… This place wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either… and part of it wasn’t really ok… I don’t know, maybe I’m just picky about nail places(which is true: I haven’t found a place I’ve really liked… maybe I should stick to doing my own) My mom visits this place very often to get manicured and she treated me to a mani/pedi for my birthday. The pedi was a little lopsided: my left foot was given less attention then my right… I could have said something, should have, but I didn’t. Other than that, the pedi was fine. I enjoyed the calf massage. My mani was started in the pedicure chair, which I was a little put off on. That and she insisted on cutting my nails down. She asked if I wanted them evened out, I said sure, and she started(without asking about length) to chop all my nails off. I didn’t feel the length was excessive… and found her desired length a bit short. Oh well, they’ll grow back. While she was painting the french tips, I was impressed with her efficiency and how nice they looked. Then I took a closer look and noticed some of the tips had jagged edges(from not filing down evenly) and when I asked for them to be fixed, she filed them down with an eye-roll and a sigh. After leaving, I noticed a lot of the edges were smudged, leaving wrinkles in the shellac. Yes, my nails looked better than before but I honestly wouldn’t pay for this to be done all the time. I appreciate my treat from my mom, but this isn’t something I’d pay for myself. I’m just being picky, but I won’t stop looking for that salon that makes me think«wow, this is wonderful! Totally worth not doing my nails my self» and when I find it, you’ll be the first to know… They do take walk ins, but they’re incredibly busy during lunch so be prepared to wait if you don’t have an appointment from 11a-2p

I’ve been here 3 times, and it’s not that great. Especially for the price. Very sloppy painting — there was a lot of nail polish on my skin. And I hate when they paint your nails while you’re sitting in the chair getting your toenails done — you never feel like your nails are getting the same attention. And they also like to crack your knuckles of your feet — apparently they have never heard of arthritis.

Ran in near closing on a Friday night. Really needed a pedi for a wedding that weekend. The woman was fast, efficient, and my toes looked wonderful, not a bad price either.

I’ve been here a few times for tips. The last time will be my last. They were out of the color powder I wanted. So had to change to another type of nail. As she glued on my pinkie I asked her to redo it, because my natural nail was showing underneath. She said she would fix it later and continued glueing the rest on. The only way I can think to explain it is, my nail was pink, yellow, then a sliver of white. I thought she was going to paint on French over that, so I was shocked when she asked me to go to the dryer. I told her I wasn’t happy and she threw her hands up and walked to the back room. Another girl came over and painted on the French for me. In the end it looked good, but I don’t like to feel like I am a unreasonable customer. Getting my nails done is something I do to treat myself. She ruined that ‘pampering experience’ for me.

After trying to go to another nail salon with a long wait, my friend spotted this salon just off the 16th Street Mall. The place was fairly full but we didn’t have to wait long. The staff were very friendly and the place was cute and clean. We each got a $ 25 pedicure and it was a relaxing experience. I will definitely be back. It was a good find.
