Food is pretty good and consistent with other hibachi joints. Service is whatever. Either way, show up hungry. And check out 2 for 1 hibachi Sundays!

Service was bad and our reservation wasn’t taken properly. They had our reservation under«I don’t know» then they gave our reservation away and we came 5 minutes before our reservation. We had to wait 15 – 20 minutes for another table. The Hostess and waitresses were not friendly at all. The sinks in the bathrooms were broke and they were gas station gross. My Boyfriend said the floor in the mens bathroom had a water leak. The food was decent and the Hibachi cook was great! We had to ask for clean silverware. I’m giving this a 1 star because we went to the Mt Fugi in Castle Rock and the experience was amazing. I had high expectations coming here but was sadly disappointed. Id rather drive all the way to Castle Rock for a great Hibachi experience. P. S. At 7:00PM the clock on the wall read 9:45. Getting that fixed might help with reservation times. IJS!

This is by far my favorite hibachi restaurant to go to. I like the fact that they have the special 2 for $ 29.99 on Sundays & Mondays. Also the cooks are pretty entertaining. Definitely worth going.

We’ve been here a few times… The food is as consistently good as the organization/service is consistently bad. Our more than 2 hour ordeal: We made a reservation for 7:15 pm, but weren’t sat until 7:25. Didn’t get our cook on the hibachi until well after 8:15. Didn’t get our entrees until 8:45. Tried to leave around 9:00, but no one would pick up our bill and payment. Once they finally picked it up, they didn’t bring it back after more than 10 minutes so we went looking for our credit card. The cooks are great, the food is great, but it’s just not worth it to give it any more chances.

My husband & I frequent a lot of hibachi grills, especially here. Just wanted to drop off a compliment for our chef Nacho. First time in awhile i saw new tricks, & was sincerely dazzled by his show, plus the food was seasoned extremely well. Not that we arent always entertained. Its always a fun time. But this time was extra impressive! Plus it was our 15th annoversary on New Yrs eve & they got us in last minute, which was really nice!

Great filet hibachi with fried rice! The hibachi soup is delicious as well! It’s a favorite for hibachi for us and they deliver!

Service was terrible. Made reservations for 7:30pm for 8 people, didn’t get seated until after 9:00pm. Tried to order drinks at the bar while we were waiting, took the bartender 30 minutes to acknowledge us. Second time I’ve been here, the service has not changed a bit. Needless to say, I won’t be back.

I have come for the hibachi, which was a nice lunch out and have come for all you can eat dinner sushi, which was good too. I enjoyed the sushi, but it felt like it was loaded with really compact rice, as did the rest of the table. I wasn’t a fan of them putting mayo on things that didn’t advertise it. Overall, I like the all you can eat, but there are a couple other spots that I like more.

Food is ok… Not my fave. Fun for celebrations with the hibachi with company. Not the best quality or flavors esp the sushi. Doesn’t excite me. Will only go for friends celebrations or client requests but as a foodie… No thank you!

HORRIBLE!!! Reservation an hour ago… No table available. No help here. Seems like a free for all… Took 30 minutes to get a drink… I think we’re going to walk across the parking lot to Wendy’s… Update– we just found some M&Ms for an appetizer… We just left… The«manager» has not idea when our group would get a table! Racines gladly welcomed us…

This restaurant advertises a special on a restaurant coupon website. This coupon is for $ 25 with a minimum $ 50 dinner purchase. We went to the restaurant to have dinner(they have all you can eat sushi for $ 25.50). We showed them the coupon and they refused to use it. All you can eat sushi is a ‘special’. I asked them if it was on the menu and if it was available at all times. They said it was. At this point, I asked the manager to change the coupon on the coupon website so that it would explicitly state it was NOT good for all you can eat sushi(it does say it isn’t valid for specials, but the all you can eat sushi is on the menu). After an unreasonable amount of cajoling she accepted my request that she update the coupon online, but she was still refusing to redeem ours. Not a good experience. Irresponsible advertising and no sense that they are responsible for having people show up — in a snowstorm no less — with the idea they could use a coupon when they couldn’t. We instead went to sushi train and it was quite good. This business’ ethics are not good.

I’ve been here four times. The sushi is always good but I’m never like«holy **** that was amazing». The sushi is always displayed awesome and I they use some cool lights in the set up. My brother LOVES this place, maybe it’s because he likes looking at the asian women but he swears that the sushi is always good and the prices are reasonable. If you live nearby don’t ask me, go for yourself and please if you like it, write a review. The people there are always nice.

Went for the first time, and wasn’t excited at all. The food was pretty good(sushi) yet the service and the vibe weren’t too great.

Frequent Benihana customers beware! Mt. Fuji is not the same, so put those expectations away. Good, now that we got that out of the way… I have been coming to Mt. Fuji often for the last few years, but only for happy hour sushi or their lunch special, which are both great and I highly recommend dinning at those times. But last night was my first night dinning at the hibachi grill. My family and I go to Benihana about 2 – 3 times a year for birthdays and other special occasions. I love Benihana, but the prices are killer. I decided my husband and I need to try this place out, for a closer(only live a mile away) and cheaper option. We are glad we did! We came in for the Sunday/Monday dinner special. The deal is $ 29.99 for two people with two protein options(Steak, Chicken, Shrimp or Salmon) and soup, salad, white rice and veggies. The fried rice option is an extra 2.99 but well worth it. The food was all very flavorful. Huge portions and you get rice and noodles which is not standard at other hibachi places I have been to. The service was friendly and attentive. The chef started and ended his presentation with offering sake to be shot in your mouth for free. It was some strong stuff but I took it like a champ. Two people eating a large portion meal for $ 30(+6 for 2 fired rice options) can not be beat. Give it a try!

I was craving some sushi yesterday and ordered from Mt Fuji. In short, I bungled my order and called back a few minutes later to add on a few things. The driver ended up making 2 trips to my house. There was a mix-up over my ticket since they made 2 trips after I added on and the driver was about to make a third trip to my house when I let them know I would come down to take care of the issue. They couldn’t have been nicer about it and bent over backwards with great customer service to make sure we were happy. The sushi that we ordered(several rolls and sushi pairs) were all delicious. My favorite was the crazy shrimp roll! The sushi was good, but really it was the customer service that put it over the top!

AWFUL food. I ordered a lunch special of 2 rolls. It came with cold miso soup. and the most disgusing«salad» dumped with a some sort of miso ginger dressing which resembled a smoothie on a couple pieces of lettuce and an unripe tomato core. The rolls themselves were O. K…though the rice was dry… just glad I did not order sushi. Service was kind slow given how many staff they had and how few people made the mistake of eating here.

a rhyme about Mt Fugi: Come to Mt Fugi, come see the show Come sit around the grill, and let your appetite grow Fresh made fried rice the chef makes for you, And even toss broccoli in your mouth too. Chicken, steak or seafood, whatever you want, In your search for hibachi, you can stop the hunt. Great for a group, so don’t come alone, You will be so full, your stomach will moan!

I have been to this location a bazillion times. Went again tonight. I am shocked I’ve never written a review, esp when they told me I’d have my usual table. I always get the filet and shrimp hibachi. To die for. But their sushi is great too! It’s one of the few places I can get a great piña colada. It’s fun w a group and w two ppl. Such a better value than Beninhana IMHO.

Surprisingly this is my first visit here. I’ve driven past countless times but went in today to quiet a ridiculous craving for fish. I was pleasantly surprised they have chirashi on the menu. Though I hadn’t had the pleasure before today, I’d heard it’s the best way to enjoy a variety of fish and let the protein be the star. No idea if I ate it properly or not(what is the etiquette for chirashi, anyway?) But it hit the spot. Large, beautiful, tasty slices of fish(tuna, yellow tail, a shrimp tail, deliciously buttery salmon, white tuna, perhaps? So much to try!) slightly sweet tamago, and a couple other items I honestly couldn’t identify but provided a refreshing crunch. The rice was a little excessive but well seasoned. Lunch comes with a salad(which I can’t comment on: I was there for the fish) and a bowl of soup. They do charge a couple bucks for tea, fyi, but they are good about refilling the mug. I’ll have to sample more chirashi before I finalize my rating but I’d easily return for this dish.

Upon returning from a big hike, my date and I were starving! We wanted to stop in Breckenridge Brewery but it is apparently closed on Sundays. Next up we tried Moontower Tacos because it has good reviews on here, but it looked kind of like fast food when we got there, and $ 4 for a taco, why? Plus we were STARVING. This sushi place next to it had signs all along the outside about their outstanding lunch specials, and they were just that, outstanding. The inside is very nice, and we had the place to ourselves since the Broncos were playing and there are no TV’s here. The busser who filled our waters and our young server were very prompt and did a great job. We got soooo much food! Goyza, amazing! Edamame, they gave us so much! We also got some sushi on happy hour, $ 5 rolls and $ 1 per piece nigiri, fish was high quality and fresh. We also each got lunch plates. My guy got the shrimp hibachi, about $ 9 which had a great flavor and good amount of meat and veggies. I had the shrimp tempura entrée, $ 8.50, which I somewhat regret, as we ended up with lots of fried food to cancel out the big hike that just happened, but it all tasted so good! Our bill was only $ 39 for all of that! Totally coming back here for lunch.
