What Mo’s lacked in atmosphere and funky-town they made up for with the cheap drink specials. Le sigh. I wanted to go out and get my boogie on. No school, nor work for the week(woohoo!) and it was Tuesday and I was ready to party. Quite excited when I read Rockstar Aaron playing 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s; one pre-game beverage and I was ready to go! But no one else was, apparently. My friend and I visited Mo’s with dancing in mind. However, no one was dancing. No one was even there, really. Which, was nice in a way… not crowded(not even close), with space at the bar and the music was loud, but not the loudest so we could still(mostly) carry on a conversation. The music was really rad, but unfortunately for naught because NOONEWASDANCING. And I promised my friend I wouldn’t embarrass him by being the only person to go all«Dance Party USA» on the place. So we had a drink(or more, in his case) and rolled out. Which came at just the right time I guess, because Rockstar Aaron stopped rockstar’ing, instead joining a table of friends(or something) and was replaced by some dude playing crappy contemporary poorly mixed in with the sounds of yesteryear I came in to hear. Will I be back? Maybe for a pre-other bar cheap drink, but definitely not for the dancing(or rather, lack thereof). Boo.
