Galina’s talents and passion for what she does can be life changing. She completely revamped my hairstyle in 2011 and I am forever grateful. If you’ve ever moved to a new city, you know the worst part is finding a new stylist! Especially one as pleasant, knowledgable, and talented as Galina!
She gave me the exact color I wanted, which was no easy task! My highlights are perfectly natural and for once, I’ve found a color expert who is just as great at cutting!
Galina Vol is the new owner of the salon and just a total sweetheart! I especially appreciated that she made sure to tell me about the free deep conditioning and hair analysis they were offering the week following appointment.
The salon is on the second floor of the building, above the flower shop so it is hard to see from the road and parking can be a little tricky so you may want to plan in arriving a little early if it is your first time here!

David Torres was amazing. I went in for a color and cut and he gave me exactly what I wanted. He has a unique style all his own and a personality to go with it. He’s very friendly and gave me several tips on moisturizing my hair. He’s just an honest, good, talented guy. I’m definitely going back to him. Also – he is very accommodating with schedules – I would definitely recommend anyone just call and see if he’s available.

Mikeal is the best colorist you can find. He will make you look like you are born with it. His prices are reasonable and he is very down to earth. I have never had so many compliments on my hair. He is able to make my hair blond with no damage.
Every friend I have sent his way, feel he has made them look years younger with the right hair color.

Sublime, experienced, and superb are only a few words that describe the expert hair care I receive from Tricia Jackson at Mikael Padilla Salon in Cherry Creek. I never leave with anything less than an absolutely perfect hair cut and highlights. I have been to my fair share of hair care professionals in the past, but have never met anyone who really listens and understands what I want and executes it flawlessly while keeping me laughing and quite entertained in the chair. I rarely write reviews, but the professional service I continually receive from Tricia is long over due and deserves a BIG KUDOS! After all, she keeps me looking fabulous and is truly the best!

Tiffany is here so automatically this salon gets 5 stars! The salon has definitely undergone positive renovations over the last year. It is full of light and always bright. All of the stylists appear ready to please and make their clients even more beautiful. Parking is horrendous, arrive at last 15 minutes before your appointment to circle the block 10 times.

Getting my hair done if my favorite girlie service so when I find an amazing stylist I will NEVER cheat on her/​him. I have been seeing Tiffany and she is great. Super friendly, always willing to listen to me when I am ready to make a change with my hair. She is easy to book with and does an amazing job. I saw her at her old salon and so glad that she is at Mikael’s now. The vibe is so much better, I can actually hear Tiffany talk to me when she is doing my hair, no loud music like her old location. I am seeing her today for my roots and I can not wait. I have never had a problem with parking, I either go to the parking lot of just on the street. Go see Tiffany for your hair, she is also amazing with wedding hair. She has worked on a few of my friends for their wedding and it’s pure talent. Love Tiffany!!!

I had my first hair cut & highlights with David Torres today — and the experience was a delight! David is wonderful — friendly, funny, and a truly talented professional. I didn’t know exactly what style I wanted and he «read my mind» and gave me a cut that flatters my facial structure and which I absolutely love. The color is fabulous too! I loved being treated like a treasured friend, and was confident that my hair was in excellent hands. I am looking forward to my next appointment already!
I just have to add a quick update — I have been receiving compliments on my new hairstyle all week :) I can’t remember the last time I got so many compliments on my hair — and it’s all thanks to David — he is a creative genius!

Let me start by saying that i have been to many salons and this is the one I feel the most at home.
I started seeing Tiffany Giovanini about 2 years ago. She was at another competing salon in the area. A high energy, high conflict, and high anxiety feeling of a salon. It was fun to go to but I always felt as though going was a struggle. From the first day I walked into Mikael Padilla, I fell in love. Its tranquil feel and always changing artwork sucked me in from the start. Its laid back and open atmosphere happily invited me to enjoy my experience. I shared her excitement to be there. The other stylists are extremely nice to me and happy to great me. (I come in every 3 days because my hair it WAY too long for me to wash and dry myself plus I could never do what Tiffany does to my hair). I never see anyone angry or upset when they leave the salon. The stylists are extremely competent and genuinely nice and happy. From day one of meeting the owner I new I was going to be pleased.
Mikael is nice and extremely professional! Unlike other salon owners I’ve met he is not cocky and is not about the drama of the salon although, I have never noticed any drama in MP. Some salon owners care less about their clients and care more about their personal fun. Mikael cares about every client that walks through the door and it shows in the talent he hires and his dedication to creating a terrific atmosphere, which I have been lucky enough to witness the development.
This is my favorite salon by far!!!

As a man I never quite understood of the importance of going to a great stylist… I was also fine with getting my hair cut at a Floyd’s or super cuts. albeit a modern cut. Still I never realized the importance, until I was personally recommended to Tiffany Giovanni. Genuinely real woman, modern cut and styling also I would leave the salon feeling confident about the hair she just designed for me. As far as the prices. very moderate, and always in life. «You get what you pay for.» This would be one of those time. As far as the shop… clean and friendly yet professional. The chairs were comfortable and the towels were clean. Other men… if you haven’t ever had a stylist do your hair… Trust me and try it out.

I’m writing from my Zen, Mikael Padilla Salon in Cherry Creek. I have waited four years to come up with the right words to express my utmost satisfaction with Joann Smith and now that she has joined the trendy, upscale, and welcoming environment of Mikael Padilla’s world-​class salon, I am ready to share my secret. It was precisely a Unilocal review that propelled my locks into Joann’s talented, consistent, and thorough hair practice when I moved to Denver in 2008 and I am eager to return the favor by re-​seeding the good news.
I see Joann once every 2 – 3 months for highlights and an occasional trim. When I come in, I suggest to her my vague idea of what I want done and over the course of brief conversation, Joann enthusiastically informs me that she knows just what to mix. She is brilliant on her ability to balance her expertise and vision for beauty with her clients’ requests.
The next two hours are generally the highlight of my week, in all seriousness. Joann is one of the most genuine, kind, and fun individuals that I have ever met and it’s an absolute treat to sit in her chair. Conversations with her are like a mix between happy hour with your girlfriends and a friendly therapy session. There’s an unintended perk!
By the time I hug Joann and walk out the door, I am overwhelmed with compliments on my hair which do not seem to subside for weeks or sometimes months, when I am ready to do it all over again. And the best part is that even on a teacher’s budget, I can afford this habit because Joann’s rates are totally reasonable.
Look absolutely no further if what you seek is true hair happiness!

Visually, this salon is very classy, clean, open and has an artistic décor-​style. The hairstylist that cares for my hair, Tiffany, is amazing and I trust her implicitly with my haircuts/​style changes. The fact that she continues to educate & improve her skills with the latest and upcoming trends — that is extremely important to me when I choose a stylist! I am looking forward to the growth and expansion of this salon!
