I’m from NJ/NY area, so I grew up spoiled because the region has the best pizza on the planet! The crappiest east coast pizza is still better compared to some I’ve had in the Midwest and west. With that being said, Marquis Pizza is the best pizza I’ve ever had, better than any experience I could remember back home. Maybe it’s been a while or I was just so overjoyed to experience great pizza again, but either way I housed down 4 slices like it was my last meal and its the best I’ve had in recent year’s!!! The dudes working the line, killing it! Thin crisp crust Salty sauce Perfect amount of cheese Not greasy Perfect!

Great pizza! Stands up to my NY style expectations. Which is hard to find here in Denver.

Best vegan pizza in Denver, hands down. It’s inexpensive and delicious. Lots of veggie topping options as well as a buffalo seitan topping if that’s your thing. They even have vegan calzone for under $ 10. Their garlic knots can be made vegan as well. Perfect for after a show but I drive down there just because anyway.

We stumbled across Marquis Pizza during a quick stop-over visit to Denver and the pizza was awesome! It was the perfect balance of pizza thickness, cheese and sauce for me, which is tough to find! It looked to be a popular late-night college crowd type joint. This makes sense considering there aren’t many other places to get food after 10pm in the area since most restaurants convert to clubs that cater to dancing and socializing, not eating. The only bummer is that they had run out of soft drinks by the time we ordered, so that’s the primary thing preventing me from a five star review.

The sauce sucks and they are straight retards when it comes to the number of slices you want.

Pizza is good but the staff there is wicked rude and they don’t wear hair nets(all staff members have hair below shoulders) and they don’t wear gloves while tossing pizza crust. I get not wanting to deal with the drunk crowd, but don’t be rude to first time customers who don’t know your take out policy. Will never return.

Just happened to be Oktoberfest going on and wanted something other than wieners. As luck would have it I turned around to find this little knight in shining armor. For $ 3.50, I got a pepperoni slice pizza which I’m guessing was about 12″ x 12″ x 8″. Crust was very thin just how I like it. There was a line when I got in, but it went fast.

Best vegan pizza in Denver, and among the best I’ve had. I’m from New York, so this is saying something. The seating is limited, but you can take your pie around the corner to Star Bar and enjoy it with a yummy beer. Would give 5 stars if they served vegan pizza by the slice.

I just love this pizza. And that sound garden salad is the best deal in town. I tend to always get cheese pizza when I am here because it’s just great, classic cheese pizza.

The pizza is DELISH especially after a show. However, the ginger’ish«manager» is a complete douchebag. Although nice to me, he was beyond rude and mean to the chicks behind me & to a member of the band we just saw. I was embarrassed for them all. At least the band drummer called him out. This is by FAR the first time I’ve seen this but I can guarantee it’ll be the last time I get pizza here. Don’t care how good it is or if the only option at 2:59am… Be kind. Do your job. Don’t be a COMPLETEDICK.(No exaggeration) How does this guy still have a job? Seriously.

My boyfriend and I passed by Marquis on our way back to our Airbnb from Coors Field. My eyes immediately fixated on the HUGE slices of pizza and we decided to grab a couple slices the next evening. They’re open late on weekdays(around midnight) and even later on weekends. This is a good spot if you’re looking for late night eats, have the munchies, or are craving some good ol greasy pizza. The slices are super cheap too.

Good street pizza and late night pizza by the slice. But there are better options for delivery or getting a whole pie. Super thin crust and fairly large slices are a little flimsy. Delivery was a little disappointing with a crushed box and cheese on the cardboard and not on the pizza on a few slices. It as not very filling and an 18″ pizza is about 2 meals for me(cheese pizza). If you get more toppings I imagine the crust would just sag due to the weight. Stick with Marquis for late-night by the slice.

Awesome pizza, terrible service. Bought a slice separately for $ 2.50, then charged $ 6.50 for my friend as she had no cash. Left a $-2.50 to equal out at $ 4.00, which then resulted in being ridiculed. Bottom line: Great pizza, terrible service.

Hands down best pizza EVER. I’ve lived around the country and eaten enough pizza to make me a semi-addict and somehow fight off obesity along the way and never had a better pizza than here at Marquis. They also have cheese bread that would rival the cheesehead state. Made perfect. And it’s not a fluke. I’ve been here three times in two weeks and it’s been perfect every time. The employees are always super friendly even when the place is so loud you can’t even hear yourself think. The large pizzas are massive and if you’re a drinking man/woman this will definitely fill you up enough to hate yourself in the morning. 5 stars all the way around.

My band played a show here and we got meal vouchers from the venue. I only got two slices of cheese $ 6 each and it was plenty of food to fill me up for the night! I’m from Nashville, but if I lived here I would frequent this place for pizza and great music! I give it three stars because there is little to no seating room unless you are also watching a show. The food is good, but nothing special by any means. Come here if you want cheap pizza and fast. They also have a few vegan options!

Best late night food down town. This pizza slice is as big as my head. The perfect greasy drunk food, and yet delicious enough to eat sober. Cash only!

The pizza was fine. It did the job it is supposed to. The staff is FAST, nice and creative. They will make any slice anyway you want it. They are more than happy to quickly change up any slice to accommodate your craving!

I had a Unilocaler friend opine that Denver’s pizza scene was terrific, giving me a rundown of places to try. Marquis wasn’t on that list, though it ended up being the only pizza place our group hit up. Twice. Drunk munchies. Yeah. As we discovered, there’s a bit of a line around 1:30, and a bit longer of a line around 2:30, so come mentally prepared and bathroom drained. The 1:30 service worked out just fine, but 2:30 might as well have been an indeterminate amount of time in which Marquis may or may not(the former) ran out of pizza just a few folks behind us. Though they make just cheese and pepperoni, the fine folks at Marquis give drunkards the opportunity to buy whole pizzas, which thoroughly slows down the operation and opens up ample room for arbitrage scalping. Wish I’d have thought of that. As it is, the slices are phenomenal. I think. Testing out semi-sober would’ve been nice(like our group did with Secret Pizza in Vegas), but I think I trust my hazy memory just enough to make that call.
