It was my first time there and I ordered a panini. However, it took 20 minutes to get my food. During the waiting, nobody told me why it was taking so long and I did not know what was going on. The store was not busy at all, I wan the only customer there. Dispute how good the food was, customer service is important and they did not care.

It’s a chain, but a place I know I can go for a reasonably-healthy lunch option. I’ve been to other locations, but this one is a bit lacking. Came here during a weekday lunch rush. Place was about 75% full, with a line of a dozen people ahead of us, and another half dozen that filtered in by the time we got to the front. Not too bad, typical sort of lunch rush in the area. The staff just couldn’t handle it though. They all looked wide-eyed and unsure, from the front of the line to the back. My friend is a vegetarian, and the staff tried adding chicken to her salad twice. She kept reminding them no. She also asked for light dressing, and they straight up drenched the thing. I placed my order, and the next step in the process kept mixing up the 4 salads currently in production. My fellow diners and I had to remind them several times which were which. At the end, my friend offered to pay for my meal at the last second, which I of course accepted(never turn down a free meal). The cashier looked confused as how to add an additional item, and then said she’d have to make it two separate transactions. Maybe it was a brand-new staff or training day. Regardless, they were slow, confused, and in over their heads.

First time I came I had a bogo coupon from a Unilocal event. I was able to get Molly Brown salad and mushroom panini. The sandwich was really good, but I didn’t like the red pepper dipping sauce. The salad was a great combination of ingredients. It had grilled onions, spinach, mozzarella and the dressing was great too. It was a big portion so good value. I came back again to get a veggie three bean chili. So far it’s good, but it was served too hot for me too eat right away

Went back here today and the service and food was much better. We had a very polite young lady make our salad and it was delicious! I have tried almost everything on the menu and they’re all great combinations. I’m looking forward to trying the build your own salad as I saw someone make a pasta and spinach salad combination that looked divine!

Ordered a salad over the phone ready when I got there… only waited about 5 minutes. They gave me a «free lunch». Just because it wasn’t ready… that’s what you call customer service!!! So extremely nice. Thanks! Always delicious salads as well

I’ve been to Mad Greens a few times before and always had a great experience with a tasty, healthy meal. I was in a hurry yesterday when I stopped by, a busy parking lot and a medium line had me concerned, but I quickly found a place to park, the line went fast, and all the staff were busy with a great mood and engaged. The woman in front of me bought my lunch, said she worked for mad greens and just wanted me to enjoy my meal, have a great day and visit again. I WILL! Not just because the free meal, a company like this with great food and service deserves repeat customers. She made my day, I paid it forward, thank you MAD Greens for the experience!

The salad was off-the-hook, I loved the pears! Also, tried the beet, garlic, and avocado dip; yummy.

I’ve been attempting to eat a little healthier lately, so Mad Greens has been a godsend. Sure, I could assemble my own salad at home, but more often than not, I don’t get to all of the produce quickly enough and way too much of it goes to waste. So that’s where Mad Greens is ace: get only what you want and voilà! Fresh, tasty salads at the ready! And no waste! Mad Greens is the Chipotle of salads. And this location is excellent. Each time I’ve stopped in the staff have been super friendly and efficient. Awesome work!

One of my favorite salad places. My favorite is the don quixote with beans instead of cheese and roasted red pepper dressing. They also have paninis and, if I’m not mistaken, any of the salads can be made into a wrap if you’d like. They have a million options and it’s easy to mix and match things. I’ve never had anything here not fresh and full of flavor. They have a base menu of about 10 salads and then there is the build your own salad option — be careful, all those toppings can add up! Overall, a little on the pricier side but I think that’s to be expected at a place like this. I’d rather pay a little more for quality food. A lot of their ingredients(if not all) are gathered from local sources. Their salads come in regular and big size, which are about 5.50 and 6.50 respectively. None of the salads come with meat or tofu, which will set you back another 2 – 3 bucks. I tend to eat a lot so I generally get the big size with tofu. Normally, when I eat salad, I’m hungry about 30 min later but after eating here, I’m generally good for about 2 – 3 hours. They do have an app, which if you sign up for and upload your credit card info, you get $ 5 off your first order. There are various reward levels but the standard is that you get $ 7 after spending $ 77. The food is fresh, the restaurant is clean, and the workers are friendly. Parking is a breeze because it’s located in a large shopping center. Try it out sometime.

I had a free side coupon burning a hole in my purse so I decided to try mad greens for lunch today while running errands. I got the hummus and pita alog with a regular size DA Vinci salad with ranch. It was super good — fresh and light — though it definitely needed salt and pepper but that’s an easy fix. I have a bogo coupon also and plan to go back next week and get myself lunch at work! Slow service but tasty food!

A-OK or so says the Unilocal star system. I’ve been to other salad joints like this before, but never to this particular place. I did like that everything was freshly prepared right in front of you and you could make your meal your own. I was completely satisfied with a regular-sized salad, and didn’t even add on any meat. I did get the dressing on the side since I’m a light dressing kind of person, so I can’t speak to their whole concept of light, medium or heavy dressings. All in all, it was exactly what I wanted — a fresh, healthy, and light lunch. Would I go out of my way to go back? Not sure, but it does make me want to try some of the other salad places around town.

Pretty gross. I ordered the Don Quixote salad to go and asked for the dressing to be «lightly tossed.» When I started eating it, I noticed it was DROWNING in dressing. It was like a triple dose of the dressing(which wasn’t even that good). The spinach leaves were soggy from it. I tried to eat the other ingredients and stay away from the soggy, dressing-soaked spinach, but gave up half way through and threw it away.

I really wanted to like this place. Sadly I can’t say that I do. I haven’t been since my last review in 2010, again disappointed. Green chili is not good. A lot of spice, but the pork or whatever is in it is very fatty and rubbery. I had the beet salad, can’t think of the name– I believe it’s the Ivan. what I dislike most is how small they chop everything. I prefer rough chops– smaller chops makes for a mushy salad. The lettuce becomes slimy and the taste muddled. Yuck. I can appreciate their dedication to healthy cuisine, I just don’t think the overall taste and quality is on point for me. On a side note, they guy who made my salad was very cool and informative. So they get another star for great service.

WTF!!! «WOW, THAT’S FANTASTIC!» Is all I can say about this place. I came in here earlier today with my girlfriend and her aunt cause they had heard about it. Word got around to them that this place was very good. Let me tell you, this place is so interesting and the taste is great! The selection is huge, so you can choose from a large variety of toppings! And not only the toppings, but also the dressing! I kid you not, I saw about 15 different choices for salad dressings! The taste was great. I loved mine more than I did my girlfriends or her aunts. I had salad with shaved almonds, cucumbers, eggs, and strawberries with some kind of Caesar dressing! It was SO good. You really gotta get it with strawberries. It adds so much flavor! And there’s enough to where you can have a strawberry for just about every bite. I don’t know if Cali has this. But hopefully they do. Cause this place was bombskies~~ Special thanks to the staff! They were very friendly in helping me decide what I wanted! My first experience was an unforgettable one! Thank you for making me love salad. as weird as that is to say. Hahaha!

Mad Greens is one of my go-to lunch spots near my house. I have been trying to eat healthier and this place makes it easy. Their salads are very good! They have a bunch of different kinds or you can build your own with fresh, mostly local ingredients. I usually go with the Greek salad or another one of their specialty salads. They are between $ 6-$ 9 depending on size and add-ons. They also have paninis and soups. I have tried one of their paninis and it wasn’t too bad. Still have not tried the soup. They have a really good apple-pear iced tea, as well as other flavors and regular fountain drinks. Service is usually good and fast. I know some have said that the service at this location is slow, but I have never personally had an issue. The parking lot can be a pain in the ass. It’s in the same shopping center as Natural Grocers, Verizon, and Wells Fargo so it can be busy during prime hours.

One of the best lunches within walking distance of my office. A little pricey for a salad, but I believe you get what you pay for. The ingredients are fresh, varied and more importantly some are local! The paninnis aren’t as good a choice, they’re missing something. However, the soups are great.
