This place is a stone’s through from the clinic I work at and I go here all of the time. Given that we are near Pecos and 72nd, there are tons of Latinos which really makes this place what it is. Ranchera songs are always playing in the background. You can always find fresh tortillas and meats to make your favorite carnitas, carne asada or lengua. The prices are unbeatable. Today I bought 15 limes for $ 1. Legendary.

Wow! I wish I had come to this place sooner. I could have saved a bunch of money on produce.
Based on the review by Gitana I decided to venture out here and try this place out. I came strictly for the produce. The other items offered in this store are okay, I might try some spices as well on a future trip.
I will highlight similar items to Gitana. 15 limes for $ 1 is a steel, especially when throwing a party for 30 people. 4 lemons for $ 1, 5 smaller mango’s for $ 1, onions are the cheapest I’ve even seen, tomato’s are $.69 a pound. I’m in love.
I’ll make a trip from now on for produce alone. Thanks to Unilocal I have found one the best and cheapest places for produce in town.
