Larry H. Miller Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram 104th – Service

Needed service on my truck, oil leak. Tried called these guys because they were close to my work and it was a emergency type thing. Took 3 tries before someone picked up the phone. I was then transferred to their «diesel guy» who didn’t answer. I left a message. Never received a reply. These guys are a joke, I don’t know why I keep trying.

This was my 3^rd visit to the Service Department at Larry H Miller Dodge. I had called before hand to make an appointment to have my oil change. The gentleman that answered the phone was super casual and unprofessional and told me that I would have to wait until 3 weeks to get my oil change! That seemed a bit off to me, so I called back and was told by a very helpful and professional lady that I could stop by in 2 days to get that done. I made the appointment for 8am.
I arrived at 8am and was told that there was 2 cars ahead of me and it would take 30−45min. Perfect! I can get to work by 9 to make my morning meeting. By 9:30 I go looking for someone to help me. My car is sitting by itself in the service bay. It looked like it had been cleaned and was ready to go. Why they never told me this is beyond me. Next I need to speak to someone to get my keys and receipt. In the service area I was ignored while 2 employees (Male and Female) played with canned air by shooting themselves in the face with it. I had to go stand in front of someone that was on the phone to get help. She told me that the car was ready and that if I wanted a receipt I would have to wait 15min more! I opted for the emailed version of the receipt as I was in a rush. I have YET to see the receipt in my inbox.
I made mention that I thought it was ridiculous that I waited an hour and a half for my car to be ready. My complaints were ignored.
I get in the car and notice that my glove box is laying on the floor of the car with the contents also on the floor. There is a dashboard piece and an air filter laying there as well. I pull out the glove box and show the service folks that it doesn’t look done. It takes another 10−15min to get the air filter and glove box put back together.
Again, I make mention how unhappy I am with the situation. This was ignored again…
I start to drive off, but wait! The computer was never reset!!! I stop and have to go back for a 3^rd time!!! Luckily, one of the techs was standing near by and was able to help me get it reset quickly. All in all I spent just under 2 hours there for an oil change!
At this point I wonder if the oil ever did get changed…
I think that it’s funny that you can have employees with a lot of time on their hands playing grab ass in the service bay, but you can’t get me in for a scheduled oil change in under 2 hours.
This was 3^rd and last time I will be giving this dealership my business for service or my next car purchase. It may mean me driving further to get my car serviced, but at least I won’t have to deal with this aggravation. I have enough going on without having to pay to be treated like garbage.
To be fair, the gentleman that checked me in was great. He showed me a few handy things about the tires and was very helpful and polite. And the 2^nd lady that answered the phone was very nice as well. Everyone else could have not cared less if I was there.

I wanted to write this review sooner but kept putting it off! I stopped by this dealership about a week ago to look at the new Jeep Grand Cherokee, I was greeted by Yusef he was new but very knowledgeable and friendly. He made me feel very special, and at ease. The service he provided exceed my expectations. I drove the Jeep Grand Cherokee and it was awesome! After the drive I told him I wanted to go over some figures on the Jeep and it was very easy, they provided me with figures and I compared it with 3^rd party pricing and it was very competitive. The whole process was easy and straight forward, it seemed that everyone at the dealership was genuinely interested in what’s best for their customers. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a Jeep. I would also recommend asking for Yusef :)

This is only my second visit here but I can’t say enough about the excellent customer service! The service dept has gone above and beyond to make sure everything is done correctly and I am fully informed. Not to mention they are super friendly.
I haven’t bought a vehicle from here but the encounters I’ve had with the sales staff, I won’t hesitate to see them when the time comes!

I am sorry to see other reviews are not good, but I have to recommend Louis, a service advisor, I worked with today. He has been fabulous. I had received terrible service at Johnson Auto Plaza related to 3 safety recalls (I posted a review there if you want details.) I purchased my Jeep at this dealership before it was purchased by Larry Miller. I had always like their service before he did, but changed to Johnson as it was closer to my house. I will never go back to Johnson Plaza and will make the trip across town to 104^th. They worked on my car immediately, offered me oil change packages, and kept checking with me. I have never received such service at Johnson and have always received it at LHM (before and after the ownership change.
I highly recommend you consider coming to this dealership. They take good care of you.

Great service and Jo from the parts department is awesome.

I took my Jeep to Jason to get my middle console fixed, as it was broken. He told me he needed to order a few parts and would call me next week. 2 weeks went by, no call. So I called and he said neither part was in but would check and call me back.
He never called. They should probably fire all their service reps and replace them with robots. Robots are more competent than this Jason character.
Do not go here ever!

I wish I could give this dealership 0 stars. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had, both in customer service and in car repair. Took my car in to have 2 repairs done, they (service advisor Frank’s team) had my car for 7 DAYS. I had pay over 700 for a rental car during this time. I find out later that the mechanics didn’t even work the weekend so it sat all weekend without being touched while I was paying for a rental. Finally get the car back, and the bill of $ 2,000, only to have wires still hanging everywhere. the window regulator which I had paid to have replaced stopped working within a week. Not only did they not offer to look at it and repair it, they said I’d have to pay for them to do that, and they require the same people to work on it again. So I take it to another dealership and have them look at it… they said the regulator was never even replaced to begin with! Currently writing a letter to corporate.

They tell you it’s an half hour wait to get the express oil change you end up sitting for 3
2 hrs … This is the second time … Just go somewhere else if your busy

I want to write an updated review. I also want to warn everyone that besides being hard to contact, their service department broke my car.
After going into the dealership in person I was finally able to get an appointment with their transmission tech for a reflash of my 2014 Cherokee. I purchased the car in January and the software update came out it May. After the hassle of getting the appointment I was told there was no update for my car. Since mine was manufactured before January my guess is this dealership does not have the most recent software updates for transmissions available. The tech didn’t seem aware there was an update and said I should have made an appointment with the transmission guy. I informed him that’s who my appointment was with. He said appointments for transmissions can only be made for drop off in the morning (mine was for the afternoon). When I asked why I was able to make a transmission appointment in the afternoon if nothing would be able to be done he said he didn’t know.
While this was frustrating since my vehicle shifted hard from 2^nd to 3^rd gear I led myself to believe I would just need to cope with the hard shifting. Besides not completing the update they scuffed my front bumper. I brought my Cherokee home and the next day the transmission was fried. 1^st gear grinds and 3^rd gear makes a thunking sound. I had to bring it back to the dealership for repairs.
I find it more that a coincidence that the day after I brought it in to have the transmission looked at, my transmission failed. I am very worried about the quality of repairs they will do since just looking at it before caused it to break.
I would warn anyone against buying a vehicle here but I would be sure to avoid the service department.

Impossible to setup a simple oil change service appointment. First I attempted calling and was transferred to the service department several times without anyone answering the phone (this was over the course of a few weeks). I then contacted the front desk and they took my name and number down and said they would hand deliver the note to the service department and they would call me back. Never heard back. I finally went to the dealership and now I understand why the service department is so bad. Every service writer I interacted with was rude (even to the salesman who led me back after arriving to the dealership). I asked to talk to the service manager. The service manager was paged, but was too busy to come out and speak with me. I then found the general manager and was told their phone systems were having problems (doesn’t explain anything). I think the solution would be to replace all the customer facing employees in the service department with people who don’t treat their customers poorly and actually care enough to answer the phone. I can understand a phone system having problems, but certainly not for more than a week, however I can’t understand treating a customer poorly who was polite in person and just trying to get a service appointment scheduled.
In summary the service department is poorly managed, employs inexperienced and rude service writes, and overall management clearly is not concerned with the customer experience. This is definitely a business to be avoided.
