The office/​practice is small, but for this reason, it is also fantastic! I used to have Kaiser for insurance, and if I were sick, I would typically see a nurse practitioner… but never the actual doctor. On the rare occasion I would see a doctor, the time they spent with me was typically under 15 minutes. On my first visit, Dr. Kano spent well over an hour with me. She is incredibly nice, knowledgeable, a great listener, and very thorough.
Overall, my experience was great, and the treatment and advice given was superb. It’s rare to find a doctor these days that values the patient relationship (and actually listens to you). I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Kano for primary care.

This is not a knock on Dr. Kano. She is extremely nice, knowledgeable, and smart.
But they don’t utilize email and I didn’t find their front desk very helpful or nice.

My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Kano for over 4 years, and we are always glad to be able to see her when we have a medical concern. She listens very carefully to all of our concerns, and she is very accurate. We have recommended her to several of our friends, and they have had very good experiences too.

I’ve been going to Dr Kano for almost 5 years now and I like her a lot. She usually has an alternative to real medication and always tells me the pros and cons of medications.
She is a great MD and I have recommended her to many of my friends.

The office needs a lot of updating as far as comfort and furniture go; however, when you come to see the doctor you actually see the doctor.
The doctor’s office will call to remind you about your appointments and they also call with any lab results (good or bad).

i’ve been there only for annual check up and for a bad cold but i like her. She is all about cleaning your nose with salted water but also gives medecine so that 2 can be combined. She listens well and asks questions. I had a hard time sleeping because of crazy travel schedule and she spent 10 minutes trying to make sure that was just stress and not a bout of depression. She is just 1 doctor, so you know you are going to see her, and not someone you’ve never seen.
Anyway, i like her and that’s important for me i guess
