Though the staff was friendly and the space is cute and cozy, I wasn’t overly wow-ed by anything I ate or drank at Hutch & Spoon. I got an artichoke and sundried tomato pesto panini and there was an overwhelming amount of artichoke(that would not stay inside the sandwich!) on it. My husband got the turkey bacon swiss panini and shared some with me and while I liked it much better than my own sandwich, I didn’t love that one either. I love the idea of housemade soda, but I felt the taste learned more towards soda water than apple-lime. I should mention, however, that my husband LOVED everything about this place and called it his favorite sandwich EVER. To each their own!

This place is awesome! Great service, great food and the menu is posted up on the wall with all sorts of things made from scratch. It is definitely a smaller place, so if you have a really big party, you miiiight have a little trouble getting served at the same time… We ate there for breakfast and wished we could have stayed for lunch, as well :-))

The buffalo Reuben was great! Coffee was good as well. Nice atmosphere and happy we decided to stop in.

Awesome little neighborhood coffee shop and café. Their food is a little pricy but it’s definitely quality and very convenient in RiNo. Try the house made sodas and the egg and feta sandwich. Both are awesome.

Super cute restaurant in the heart of RiNo. Chilli was delicious and just the right size. My dad had the grilled cheese, which he said was great and although he would have never thought to add it the raisins were a nice addition, but I don’t do sweets and savory together, so glad I didn’t order that.

Great cozy little place with tasty sandwiches. Had buffalo pastrami sandwich that was well presented but not as good as I’d hoped. Staff is attentive and friendly.

I was recently in the area and I found Hutch and Spoon on Unilocal. They have an amazing grilled cheese with chutney. I also enjoyed their homemade sodas. I wish I lived closer because it is a great lunch spot! It gets busy during the lunch rush so be prepared to wait.

I will begin on a positive note by saying the food/tea is delicious. But so unsanitary! I have been here multiple times and no one preparing food was wearing gloves. I tried to fool myself by thinking about how well they must have washed their hands. But then the person who handled my money then cleared dirty dishes, wiped down a table and then made my salad with her hands. The person making my boyfriends sandwich covered his mouth with his hands when he coughed but then resumed making the sandwich with his hands. Ew.

Not a friendly family environment. Too small. Maybe 8 tables total. Service lacks courtesy. DONOTRECOMMENDIT for any groups maybe ok for couples. The lack of freshness is the most relevant tip about it. If you can, skip it.

I went to Hutch and Spoon today for lunch because I was in the area and saw the amazing reviews. I wasn’t disappointed! Even though I arrived a little after 3, less than an hour before they closed, I received friendly and thorough service. I ordered their veggie patty on top of their pear and goat cheese salad. The veggie burger was homemade and satisfyingly delicious. I also got their house made cucumber soda, which I loved. You could see the fresh cucumber pulp in the glass, turning it a bright, refreshing shade of green. When I asked to take the soda to go, a young man working behind the counter graciously helped me! I hope to go there again soon when I have a little more time to enjoy the adorable shop.

I loved this place. The vibe is adorable. It has a great menu and the person working behind the counter was super friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that it’s pretty small so getting a spot but can be tough but overall I love this place.

Maybe the hummus plate is a bad representation, but I’m really not stoked on the food I got. The quality of taste and the freshness are totally fine. However, the inventiveness + portion size for the price is pretty awful — mostly the portion size. $ 9 for a couple scoops of humus, some cucumber slices in Italian dressing, a sprinkling of feta cheese and 4 olives is not worth it in my book.

I want to like this place more since it is right by where I live, but every time I go I always have a good, never great experience. The coffee is mediocre. The espresso drinks can’t hold a candle to the 2 – 3 shops that are in the immediate vicinity. The food is fine, though the portions are small and rather on the expensive side. The service is hit or miss. I sometimes feel like I’m inconveniencing the counter person. I’ll probably go a little out of my way to go elsewhere.

I live across the street but do not make it in to this neighborhood gem often enough. The menu slightly changes seasonally, and the food is always top quality. Everything is fresh made, and delicious! The meatloaf and cheddar is divine. Soups, like everything else, are comforting and homemade.

I think if I eat myself to the point of being uncomfortable, the food is probably pretty dang good. We stopped here for lunch after flying into Denver before driving into Aspen, and I was just delighted with the choice. I had a hard time narrowing down my choice, but had a chicken salad sandwich which was to die for. I had an iced espresso drink as well, and my BF had a pannini sandwich with chips. We both left full and happy. My only complaint was the service was a bit slow, and the dining area a bit cramped(we ended up sitting right by the counter so we got bumped by a few people standing in line to order). They were clearly busy though, so I don’t think that warrants a star off. I look forward to coming here again next time I’m in Denver!

Loved hanging out for coffee and worked on computer through lunch which was a veggie burger recommended by kit(morning staff.) Worthy of stellar reviews.

Stopped in for breakfast after going to spin in a Saturday morning with my partner and our realtor(yes, it’s true, if you think your realtor is awesome, they probably think you are, too. Befriend them. #lifegoals) and were pleasantly surprised at so much. Small restaurant, so be prepared to squish. Cute ambiance with employees who genuinely seem to want to be there. We opted for mimosas because the spin class was a bust and all ordered breakfast burritos. The service was quick! My negative was the lack of sauces. It was a touch hot and dry and I was hoping for some sort of cream-based something to cool it down and make it juicer, but they only had salsa. But that was the height of my troubles, so this place was awesome otherwise. Great prices, too! Split a little sweet from the counter afterward just to eliminate all of the hard work done in spin class. Worth it.

Very cute! Food very tasty and service was friendly. You can order to go or call ahead. Had the tomato garbanzo soup with roasted beet salad … yum. They serve beer, wine, mimosas. Even homemade sodas!

Tiny, adorable space with delicious sandwiches and unique, housemade Italian sodas. You order at the counter, and they bring out your food on cute plates with silverware and cloth napkins. Love that! The menu rotates. I’ve liked all of the sandwiches that I’ve tried, especially the roasted red pepper sandwich with pesto and mozzarella. Sandwiches come with a simple green salad, perfectly dressed with a vinaigrette. Love that too! I’ve also liked all of the Italian sodas that I’ve tried, especially the cucumber soda and pineapple ginger soda. I have yet to try the coffee and sweet treats, but I’ll get to those sometime.

Ordered their chicken pesto with feta on sourdough sandwich for $ 8.50. This is their most popular. It’s very savory and tasty. Note: They only have one power outlet near the window which is nice. They also have an outdoor seating area on the side of the building. They serve breakfast, lunch and include a beer, wine, espresso and house made soda menu.
