i really liked the vibe in this place. it has a 20 something feel to it which is refreshing in the stingy and expensive cherry creek neighborhood. the staff is friendly and we enjoyed some of the small plates like the brussel sprouts and short rib tacos. the soup was amazing. i had the Pappardelle Bolognese which was just awesome, i would totally come back for it. the fresh bread was great and good local selection of beers on tap.

Oh my Gosh, run, do not walk to the ridiculously delicious brunch. Wow!!! We love Harmon’s for dinner but this has to beat all for a Sunday brunch. Duck confit eggs and hash or the green chili eggs – killer fabulous. Did I mention the great food? And the staff is top notch.

GOODBEERSONTAP, ECLECTICMENU I like Harmans. We’ve been here a couple times over the last couple of weeks and have had pleasant experiences both times. On our first visit we went during lunch on a Sunday and they had the brunch menu to select from, I had the burger and my husband had the turkey sandwich. Burger was ok– very decadent. The turkey sandwich was good. Our server forgot our app but then brought it when we asked where it was, it was comped off the bill. On the second visit we went on a Friday evening at sat at the bar. We had the mushroom tartine and oysters to start. Th The oysters were ok– shucked pretty horribly with shell bits on everyone of the half dozen we had. The tartine was good, we both thought that was the winner of the two. For mains my husband had the bolognese and I had the chicken. The chicken was very moist and came with brussels and gnocchi and a delicious dill sauce, we were both impressed with this dish. The bolognese was good as well. Overall a nice relaxed place to enjoy some food and drink. I’m sure we will be here often.

I am thoroughly impressed with this establishment! Parking can be a pain since this is Cherry Creek. Luckily, we came here on a weeknight at 7:30pm so we got parking right out front. The décor is romantic and intimate, even on the ground floor, which is supposed to be the busy area. Next time, I hope I can sit on the Mezzanine level. It looked very nice up there. The drink menu is very nice and I believe the drink I had was called«Never Ending». That might not be the name of it but it’s the drink with the bacon flavored whiskey in it! Get that one!!! The flavors in the mixture go together like silk and no flavor overpowers any other so you get a refined, sophisticated taste from sip to swallow. Fantastic. For starters, we went with Salmon Pastrami and BBQ pig fries. Both were great but my favorite was the salmon because of how unique it is. They rolled up the salmon and put pastrami seasoning on it. The medley of flavor is superb and just like the drinks, very balanced. For the main course, we tried the pork shoulder and seared salmon… yes, I was in a salmon mood! At this point, I’ve worn out the«balanced» and«flavorful» adjectives. But, no surprise, the dishes were excellent. Rich in flavor but not greasy or soaked in heavy sauces. My only disappointment was when I asked for some fresh horseradish. I am used to potent horseradish that brings a tear to your eye from just the smell. What I was brought was something very dry and while the taste faintly resembled my favorite meat garnish, it was so weak I could barely taste it. Oh well, I won’t take off any stars as everything else was so amazing. The service was prompt and courteous. Be prepared to spend some cash on a dinner here. It is well worth it but to prevent sticker shock, 2 drinks, 2 appetizers and 2 main meals was upwards of $ 80 before tip. Absolutely worth the price!!!

This place is amazing! We came for lunch and had an enjoyable experience from the second we walked in. We were greeted nicely upon arrival and seated promptly. It was an absolute gorgeous day and I’m truly glad the sun was shining because the outdoor patio is very nice and gives you a chance to view the nice atmosphere of Cherry creek. Our server was very kind and knowledgable on the menu. Although the menu does not look like much, everything sounds delectable. I had trouble deciding between the smoked salmon salad and house pastrami sandwich and I’m super thrilled I decided on the house pastrami because it was amazing! The peach bbq sauce and mustard slaw came together brilliantly and, ugh, the pastrami was smoky and delicious. The side of fries were way too good and I could not stop munching on them. So fresh and flavorful. My guests ordered the house roasted turkey without the bacon and said it was a phenomenal sandwich! Another plus– it’s really not that expensive. Surprising right? Definitely come here! Great food and it won’t bust your budget!

So this was one of our«try a new food place» every week and although I did like it, I was very disappointed that they didn’t have«pork belly» on the menu. :(Bummer, but at least I got to venture off a bit at least. We sat on the outside deck being such a beautiful night. Walking into the place we were shocked at how big it was inside. It’s very nice, but it was also very dead and empty. Looks more like a big night club bar scene. The deck was pretty full though and weather was perfect. So here’s the low down: Pilsner beer w/added bloody mary mix & olive juice — Asked them to make this concoction and they did a pretty good job. Corn Gnocchi Salad– Oh this was soo good! I think it’s by far the favorite salad I’ve ever had. Even more so better than the famous Caesar table side salad at Hugo’s Cellar in Las Vegas! Short Ribs tacos apps. — these were delicious, would’ve ordered another one, but wanted to save appetite. I love the bit of crunch on the edges of the meat. Gazpacho creamy soup — I love this soup on a nice warm weather night, it was pretty thick an could be filling, so I’m glad I got just the smaller one. Braised Pork Shoulder Entrée –Wow! Now this was the best dish out of all of them. Hubby ate ½ & I ate the other part. The sauce and pork were divine and I loved how there were like nutty crunchiness from the almonds in the corn grits. This was FANFREAKENTASTIC! but I still wanna try the pork belly when it comes back in season. Papparadelli Bolognese — this was pretty good, but I honestly make a better one than this. I don’t like my meat shredded in pasta because it’s stringy. I would’ve preferred grounded meat instead. Piggy Sunday — oooh, it’s exactly like it sounds and there was bacon in there done 3 ways. Soo good, I got to devour this bad boy all by myself… All in all this place was pretty good, would I go back. Mayhaps, when &/or if they bring back the pork belly dish with watermelon.

This place is conveniently located by north cherry creek mall where all the boutique stores and restaurants are. I came here with a huge group of friends for my going-away dinner. They took our reservation just a day prior and was able to fit our group of 15. I really liked the atmosphere in the restaurant, the server was friendly, and the food was delicious. I got the mussels and fingerling potatoes and it was delicious! Happy to say that this meal did not disappoint as it was my last dinner in Denver!

One of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at in Denver, CO. Good interior, great location. Small plates and snacks were awesome and reasonably priced. I had the Pork Shoulder and it was the bomb. First time — I think — that I didn’t have food envy in a group dinner. Lol. Our server forgot to give the drink ordered by one of our companion’s and gave us 2 desserts to be shared by 7 of us, now that’s excellent customer service! Would definitely come back.

Great atmosphere, great staff, great food! Not much of a long wait on a Saturday for dinner. Our waitress was very fun and helpful knowing it was our first time here. Gave us many wonderful suggestions. We had half a dozen of oysters, salmon pastrami, beef short rib tacos, lamb ribs and for dessert the green tomato pie which was delish! Tastes just like green apples! Will try again to try the rat of they menu!

Have you not been yet?! Oh my goodness. For starters, find out if Becca is in back making your desserts. Then get one if she is. You will be so, so pleased that you did. It’s worth a splurge to get a sample — she is incredible at what she does and deserves thousands of accolades! Harman’s is such a fun place to grab a bite. They care so much about local eats and what’s fresh and you know you’re in for something delicious, meat-eater or veg alike(veggie pals — don’t be intimidated by their love of pork. It’s just a different love. The edible kind.) I have been for appetizers, for meals, and for just dessert and wine, and I’ve never been disappointed. If you have a favorite season where you hope to get a certain amount of something in overload(lookin’ at you, Palisade peaches), check out Harman’s. Chances are, they are feeling the same Colorado pride you are and want to showcase what this state’s got to offer. Hats off to the chefs, servers, and management — you always make for a fun experience!

I’ve had the pleasure of dining at Harman’s a few times. One of the things I really appreciate in a restaurant is consistency, and Harman’s delivers on that front. Each time I’ve gone I have tried different items on the menu, and each time I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the quality of the cuisine. The entrees are not only delicious but beautiful to look at. The atmosphere can get a bit loud, but it’s a hip location in Cherry Creek so that’s to be expected. There’s also the option to sit outside as well. This last time I went I enjoyed the braised pork shoulder with mozzarella grits. DIVINE. Perfectly cooked, sinfully tender… I ate every last bite. My only qualm with my last visit was the waitress. She wasn’t the friendliest, seemed as if she had a million other more important things to do, and was very slow with the service. Not enough to deter me from coming back, but it was disappointing as the service I’ve received the other times I’ve been has been excellent.

Wow — I knew I had been wanting to try Harman’s for a while now, but I am a little peeved for waiting so long to do so. All this time I’ve been missing out on their mouth-watering mini short rib tacos with a generous portion melt in your mouth pork, their delightful, pop-in-your-mouth celery root and potato tater tots, and of course — their homemade potato chips with melted bleu cheese on top. For a trip limited to only cocktails and appetizers on a care-free Summer afternoon, it was a pretty positive impressionable experience to make me want to return for dinner or brunch. The service was on point — not too excessive, but definitely not lacking, and left no indication they were annoyed with me and my guests just ordering drinks and small bites, which unfortunately does happen from time to time. The breezy, open space that naturally flows out unto the patio is perfect for an afternoon of leisure, people-watching, imbibing, and noshing. If you ever find yourself in Cherry Creek North, I encourage a trip — if anything, for the tacos!

I like Harmans. I stopped in before to check out the menu and it looked like heavy food and lots of meat. Was I in the same place after the Cherry Creels Art Festival or was it heat stroke? My friend and I shared the heirloom and pesto sandwich with fries. We were more thirsty than hungry. Another friend had the steak salad with fries on the salad how yummy dies that sound. The fourth had a small boring salad. We all seemed to enjoy what was in front of us They do offer bread and butter. It’s really chewy on the outside and soft inside. We actually got a second bread basket but I never ate anymore bread. Hum. Who did? Will go back and try something else. It’s a nice place for lunch or dinner. I am not sure if they serve lunch but it’s worth a call

We went for happy hour and the food was superb! This is a very big place, they have a small patio and the bar is nice with high tables along the windows. I was not too impressed with the limited selection of cocktails, but the one I had(after asking for a recommendation from the very professional and friendly bartender was good.) It’s really the food that impressed me. Our favorite was the short rib tacos, very tender meat, perfectly seasoned and topped with a dollop of avocado, it simply melted in our mouth. The tater tots were not just very pretty, there also tasted very good, the house-made chips and the bbq spiced pig«fries» were very nice. Not that we needed it, but after that great experience on the small plates(decent size by the way, not that small), we had to get dessert(I always have one anyway, my husband usually not.) I forgot the name of mine(kind of like a trifle), my husband had the decadent chocolate cake. Both desserts were indeed decadent and ended a delicious meal on a perfect note. I would love to go back for dinner.

This is one of my favorite happy hour places in all of Denver. You don’t even need dinner when you have happy hour like this(although I’m sure the dinner here would be just as delicious). Their small happy hour plates are ridiculously good. I could eat them every day, especially the truffled pork rinds. HAPPYHOUR Happy hour at Harman’s runs Monday-Saturday 4pm-6pm, and the drink selection is pretty basic: $ 3 cans of beer, $ 1 off drafts, and $ 5 wines. No cocktails, but that’s ok – because the food selection totally makes up for it. Seriously, just order one of everything on the happy hour menu, because it’s all worth trying and it’s not expensive at all. THEFOOD I’m not sure that words can really describe the wonder that is truffled pork rinds. It’s like eating pork skin — but in light, fluffy, crispy chip form. Meat chips?! Come on… Just note, these are only available during happy hour! Although during dinner, there is an awesome appetizer called«Bahn Mi Steak Tartare» with the these pork rinds — topped with tartare, pickled vegetables, cilantro, and yolk jam. The tempura cheese curds are definitely some of the best I’ve ever had. The tempura is very light, so it’s really about the cheese(as it should be). And the short rib tacos are a must-try. Everyone I’ve seen try these has absolutely loved them. It’s tender short rib, with chili, pickled onion, and avocado. Forget french fries. The smoked potatoes here with chili aioli are the perfect potato appetizer. They’re tender, slightly smashed mini potatoes with a crispy outside, sprinkled with some salt — and paired with a delicious, slightly-spicy dipping sauce.

Bottom Line: Go for the food, not for the drinks. Of the three drinks we ordered, none were all that great, but OHMYGOSHTHEFOOD! We started with the celery tots and mini tacos and apart from being among the cutest food I’ve ever eaten, they were both delicious. Can’t say I’ve ever seen a celery tot offered anywhere else so I was really excited to eat something so creative. The creamy sauce that came along with it was a great contrast to the pickled celery pieces. I would recommend both and order them again in a heartbeat. I was THISCLOSE to ordering the gnocchi and shroom salad but went with the pan roasted chicken instead and it was phenomenal! Chicken is always a risk because it can either be very good or very boring. Happy to say Harman’s pulled off the former. The skin was well-seasoned and crispy but the inside with still tender and juicy. What more can you ask for. I do wish there had been more gnocchi to go along with it and the carrots were definitely too al dente for my liking but that was a minor error. Plus who cares about al dente carrots when there’s dill crème fraiche and mustard pan sauce? Atmosphere-wise, the restaurant was big, bright and open, which I loved. We got a seat next to the big wall of windows, which is perfect if you’re into people watching and I am. I wouldn’t call our server overly friendly or fun but he was professional and not intrusive so that’s really all I can ask for. I would highly recommend Harman’s and while I’d probably just order a beer next time, the food is more than enough to make me come back!

One of the tastiest meals I’ve had in Denver in the last 3 months. The sweet potato gnocchi with pomegranate«salad» was a subtle and excellent combination of flavors. The chicken pâté appetizer was surprisingly good, though I thought the jam and crispy bread stood out more than the actual pâté. The chocolate cake with red wine ice cream had a unique and tasty flavor. My only minor complaint is the restaurant is a big open space with mostly cold, modern décor. It’s not quite uncomfortable, but it’s also not particularly inviting. Thankfully we were seated in the one warm spot in the house — but the wooden pig(?).

I love Harman’s and I don’t care who knows it! Service is amazing at this place. Every person who sees you greets you, asks if you need anything and tries to ply you with alcohol! Our waitress was smart too. Every time we asked what general size an item was she would explain in ounces. As in «the piece of meat is about 4 oz.» and we pretended we knew what that meant and made a discerning nod so as not to look dumb or poor! Because we are both dumb AND poor I.R.L., don’t tell anyone!(If you don’t know, I.R.L. stands for in real life. Its a weird thing poor people do). If you order a drink make sure you try the Karate Kid. It is vodka, ginger, lime and a simple syrup made with jalepeno and cayenne. Its not too spicy though! Its juuuuuuust right. The bread comes out hot and fresh from the oven in an adorable wooden box. I know that sounds dumb(and poor) but every detail of this place is cute and charming and cozy. Everything on the menu looks delicious and has a special little twist. Pork rinds? Delicious on their own! But add truffle oil and parm cheese and whoa whoa whoa. Magic. Steamed mussels? Pretty much always an excellent choice but put a tasty veggie slaw on top and cook them in a coconut curry sauce? Now its getting serious. Serious. This place is serious food with a fun atmosphere.(Minus the cherry creek north location. But you can’t blame a restaurant for making you go there. Just close your eyes and think of England)
