I had an excellent massage from Maria today. I had been having tension type headaches for a few weeks with little relief so I decided to try something different. So glad I did! My neck pain is gone and so is my headache. She did amazing trigger point work and I will definitely be returning.
The room was very quiet and relaxing, not too hot and not too cold. The massage tables are very comfortable. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Overall A+!

Very convenient, they can usually get you an appointment within a day or so. Massages vary by the therapist, find one you like and stick with them.

Each time I visit this wonderful spa I am consistently delighted by the facility, staff and services! The front desk staff know me and greet me like I am a member of the family. The spa is clean, quiet and professional.
I have been a member for almost a year and have greatly benefited from the massage and facial services I receive. To make the experience even more enjoyable I am able to get both from the cheerful Patsy. We are similar in age so she is able to recommend treatments that especially benefit me and as we chat the 2 hours simply fly by! I leave refreshed and feeling better from head to toe!

Came in the other day for a massage. First time here. Usually go elsewhere but this was a last minute choice nearby based on Unilocal reviews. I loooove a good massage and I have to say I left so disappointed. The masseuse talked WAY too much. I really want to relax when getting a massage and listening to a chatty masseuse talk about her life and the offerings of the shop is not my idea of a relaxing good time. Yes, I could have asked her to be quiet but I thought my non response would eventually clue her in… nope. Plus the massage work was below average. Such a bummer. This was not a good use of my time or money. Needless to say I will not be back but it is a reminder for me to voice my requirement for silence in advance the next time I try someplace new where the staff may not already have an expectation of silence or just soothing sounds as the default massage environment. If you try this place I hope your experience is better than mine.

I have had a better message! Got the first timer rate, so cannot imagine how expensive it would have been without the special! They wanted to up charge us for a couples message $ 20 dollars, I pointed out that if they were making twice the rate for a room, shouldn’t they be giving use a discount? They agreed to not up charge us after all. It was clean, newly renovated and a calming atmosphere so two stars. But then employees did, multiple times (4 total, 3 different employees and the paperwork also!), push up-​selling other services so maybe it wasn’t as calming an experience as it should have been! Lost three stars for average message, obnoxious up selling practices, and finally wanting to charge more at every turn, justified or not!

It is conveniently located near my job, they are always willing to adjust my time when running behind. I work out and lift heavy so I tend to require a lot of work on my muscles. It’s very hard for me to find someone with strong hands and great massage skills. Since my first visit with Lazarus I haven’t been to anyone else. He is able to work out a lot of sore muscles and help me continue to reach my full athletic potential especially with my calves. Painful yes but much needed in certain areas. I generally get a deep tissue/​sports massage twice a month.

Wonderful place to go and feel refreshed! Def get a membership for an affordable and consistent monthly massage. I have only had massages but plan to go back soon for a facial. I’ve been a member for about 3 years and gone to about 4 other locations and enjoy this one the most in Stapleton. The staff is very friendly but def call ahead for an appointment. I have brought friends and family here for surprise massages and they are very accommodating. Also I recently brought my mom who is recovering from a stroke and I from a foot surgery. They were all accommodating of both of our limitations, but both of our therapists never massaged people with our disabilities before.

Came here for the first time and had the best massage I have ever had. Kat did an amazing job and I will definitely be going back. I was worried at first about going to a chain massage parlor, but this one didn’t disappoint. Kat spent her time with me and really focused on what was sore. Great place!

This place is AWESOME! From the moment I walked in the door, I felt myself starting to relax. I own a pet care business and rarely get a day off. I pretty much had no idea how to relax– I mean really relax. So I’m sitting in the waiting area listening to calming music and the sound of running water. Then I meet Joe, and he gave me the best massage I’ve EVER had! I didn’t have to guide him or tell him how much pressure to use-​he just knew and even found several areas I didn’t even know were tight and sore!
After my massage, I felt like I just woke up from a deep refreshing nap! Then I met Sophia. She is sweet and professional-​my favorite combination! She talked to me about becoming a member. But I need to stress the point that at no time did anyone try to sell me anything! They just make everything so easy! I’m so happy to be a member of Hand & Stone! I can’t wait till I go back!

I’d have to say the spa appearance is nice, but not the best second visit. Scott, the owner took my review from 1 to a 4! Glad to know the owner is in the establishment daily. Unfortunately the follow through was not there. C for effort!

I was a little hesitant as this is a chain. BUT OMG! This place is fantastic! I had a deep tissue with Kat. Tweaked my upper back/​chest this morning and she worked it all out. I walked out and promptly signed up for the monthly plan. Go check this place out.

Seems like it just opened and I’m glad I found it online, via Unilocal.Had a 90 minute sports massage from Lynn. HIGHLY recommend this therapist. She had a great attitude, was incredibly professional and knew exactly what she was doing. For the money, no better massage ever.

I have had many, many, facials over the years but never a chemical peel. My therapist at Hand and Stone Massage Northfield was amazing! I have sensitive skin and she tailored the treatment for my specific skin needs and explained each step. She was extremely knowledgeable and I walked away with a better understanding of peels and skin health in general. Plus my skin looks and feels amazing– Thank you Amy! fantastic experience from the minute I walked in the door.

First time using the hot stone massage and it was an amazing experience. My second massage was with the aroma therapy and that was by far my favorite. The staff was amazing and very open to their strengths which helps decide in what way to spend my massage. The facilities are amazing; clean and up to date. Great spa and highly recommend it.
