Seriously the best doughnuts in Denver! Love all the variety of flavors. I wish they had more locations!

Went in there this morning to get a dozen donuts and customer service was wonderful. The donuts looked amazing and everyone said it tasted wonderful. Definitely will be back!

I don’t get what the big hype was around this place. Yes, there were interesting donut flavor variations, but the flavors were not pronounced. Like the maple on the«breakfast of champions?» Could barely taste it.(Good bacon though) Same with salted caramel. My boyfriend got a Cronut which was WAY over cooked.

After seeing an article that selected these as the best donuts in the state I had to give them a try. I wish that I had paid attention to the price. 4 donuts were almost $ 13. Ouch! The bananas foster was very tasty and unique. The strawberry glazed was average. I have a Samoan and a Nutella left to try, but for the price I will not be a frequent customer.

So I’m not exactly a doughnut person, but I am a connoisseur of all things sweet. I love the name of this place and for a few years I’ve felt like there has to be better than Voodoo. When I saw Glazed listed as one of the top doughnut purveyors in the country I decided screw the diet, I have to try it. On the Sunday morning my husband and I stopped in there wasn’t a lot in the case. That’s okay, I don’t need every flavor in the universe, I just need the good ones. I chose a Samoa doughnut and my husband got a vanilla one. They were okay, but not fabulous, and they were out of cups for water. Final verdict, it’s a’ight but won’t be craving another visit.

These are the best donuts that I have had in Denver(so far). Each donut is obviously crafted with care by someone who is trying make the best donut in the world. True, they are not cheap, but they are worth it and one donut is all that you need. That said, Glazed n’ Confused is a prime example of «spiking the football on the 1-yard line». They put so much care into their donuts, which makes the glaring areas where they don’t seem to have given any care or attention all the more unfortunate. It’s not quite a touchdown, and here are a few areas that diminish something that could be truly great: COFFEE: They need a beverage that can keep up with the quality of the pastries. Even the lids put on the cups makes a difference(my lips touch that lid and it feels cheap, so it cheapens the whole experience). Go full service on this, hire a barista and partner with a local roaster like Kaladi or Pablo’s. LOCATION: The cost of the donuts lends itself to being more of a «dessert & coffee» bar – I could see a lot of people grabbing one of these late at night after dinner and a movie in a pedestrian-oriented area of town. The awkward location off of Leetsdale suggests they are trying instead to sell by the dozen – a harder sell at $ 36-$ 50/dozen. It’s too bad they are not in a location where they could get the foot traffic that VooDoo enjoys. FACILITY: For the life of me, I don’t understand why a place that obviously cares about the craft of their product would then turn around and deck their shop out in a Nickelodeon theme. For the price-point, people should feel like they are in a nice, cozy atmosphere where they can be treated to excellence, and be allowed to collect themselves before forging back into their lives. No one who can afford these donuts wants to be at a Chuck E Cheese. I hope another location can open one day that makes this a more natural part of a slow weekend. For now, the terrible parking and out-of-the-way location means I will only enjoy these superior donuts on rare occasion.

I’m always down to try donuts and Glazed & Confused had been written about a few places so I wanted to check them out. The staff was so friendly in walking me through their recommendations. I got the root beer float(tasted exactly what it’s named) and the Somoa on his recommendation. That one was really good too and just like the girl scout cookies.

Yum! What a delicious place! My brother and I stopped in while I was visiting from CT and had heard there were good Donuts in Denver. This place did not disappoint! I only wish we weren’t stopping at Voodoo right after or I would have gotten more! I got the samoa –YUM and my brother got a traditional glaze which he loved. Next time I’m out to visit him, I will go a lot harder ha :)

We just tried this place for the first time, on a whim, because we were passing by without knowing it was there. If heard good things, so I was looking forward to it. Their doughnuts live up to the hype! They’re fluffy, light, doughy, and delish. My favorite was the doughnut take on the Samoa Girl Scout cookie… whaaat? It’s a decadent doughnut to say the least. Give this place a try for your next doughnut fix, and you’ll be pleased.

If you’ve put even a little effort into finding a prime doughnut spot in Denver you’d heard of Glazed & Confused, and the hype isn’t unwarranted. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? Tucked away in an otherwise underwhelming strip of shops, Glazed & Confused is night and day from the outside in. The comfortable interior with abundant seating and a cool high tech menu screen to compliment a more classic glass display case of their wares might actually have you spending a bit of time here as opposed to the common in and out aspect of most doughnut shops. Service is fast and friendly, and I was pleased to find they accept credit cards even on smaller purchases. Star Granted. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? As a word of caution, Glazed & Confused specializes in specialty doughnuts versus the classic glazed and cinnamon twists, and a caveat of specialty doughnuts is that they command a premium. I had one objective for my visit, and that was to sample the Samoa doughnut, which I did for $ 3.00. Cheap? No, but this was a sizable treat that I’d never heard of being offered elsewhere, so all things considered the price was fair. Star Granted. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? As is often the case with food goods meant to replicate other food goods, my expectations for the Samoa doughnut weren’t quite met, although I’ll admit that they were unrealistic from the get-go. In a perfect world I would have closed my eyes and thought I was eating a massive Samoa girl scout cookie, which is of course ridiculous given that this was a doughnut. To be honest I’m not even sure I would have guessed Samoa given a blind taste test, but let it be known that none of that means for a second that this wasn’t an excellent doughnut. Smooth and airy with loads of flavor, this thing was elite in every sense of the word, and I’d strongly recommend it to even the most casual doughnut enthusiast. Dual Stars Granted. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? There’s one thing here that’s preventing me from giving a fifth star, and it’s the aforementioned breadth of selection. I love specialty doughnuts, but I’m also a sucker for the classics, and a lot of the classics simply aren’t offered at Glazed & Confused. That’s fine, but it keeps G&C from being my all time favorite Doughnut Shop. No Star Granted.

I could eat a dozen donuts. Oh not a dozen of these. They are rich and heavy but good. Although I am not crazy about the Grilled donuts. I don’t like the charred flavor. I think they are expensive but there is a lot to them Will I go back. Well I will if they are open when I drive by which is often enougj

This place is behind outstanding, their flavors are amazing and so diverse and pretty much on a semi daily basis and new flavors are introduced in some seasons. Their combinations are great and the guys working there are really helpful, great and funny. I actually like this more than Voodoo which is popular here because these guys have different infused flavors and not just glazed and their pretty light, I could have had 2 – 3 but then let’s admit it, my hips don’t lie. The only reason I’m giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is because it closes at 2 and I wish it’s open longer. Must must must try!

My bf and I got there just in time before they closed … unfortunately there were only three kinds remaining, but at least we got BOGO pricing. We decided on these: G&C Plain Glaze: Vanilla Infuzed Brown Butter Glaze Raspberry glaze with chocolate mousse filling Even though we only ordered 2, we got a box container to hold them which was very nice. We were too full to eat this immediately, so we had to eat this after coming home from Jurassic World as a midnight snack. They were still good, surprisingly! But didn’t wow either of us, though. We both preferred the Vanilla over the raspberry one.

Very impressed with this place and their customer service. I called yesterday(6.5 — national doughnut day… who knew?!) to see if they had vegan doughnuts. Unfortunately, by the time I called at around 8am, they were already out for the day. The person I spoke to told me they normally do vegan doughnuts on Wednesdays and Fridays. The person apologized, stating they didn’t know they were going to be so busy, and I thought that was the end of it. A few minutes later, the same person(not sure of his name) called me back and said they will be carrying vegan doughnuts all weekend. Awesome. I dropped by today and asked for the vegan doughnuts. The person behind the counter told me they didn’t have any that day. I explained to him my phone conversation from the day prior and he went in the back to ask. Turns out, they are making them, they just weren’t ready and would be in a few minutes. Perhaps a team huddle at the beginning of the day/shift change would be helpful and help alleviate potential communication issues like that. I waited around and ended up getting two. They are running a special this weekend buy one, get one 99 cents. The doughnuts were delicious. Nothing fancy but the strawberry glaze was excellent. They are extremely pricey($ 3.50/doughnut), especially considering what you get. The vegan doughnuts are the same price as the fancy gourmet doughnuts with all of the fun, various toppings, versus the vegan with just a regular strawberry glaze. That being said, I feel like I get more out of a bakery like Beetbox where I can get things like croissants, bear claws, cupcakes, etc, for the same price versus a plain glazed doughnut. However, I do appreciate a regular, non-vegan place offering vegan items because, as a recent transplant to Colorado, I’ve been surprised by the lack of vegan options around here. 4 stars for the good doughnuts and awesome customer service, I really appreciate the person calling me back and letting me know they would have vegan doughnuts all weekend.

I’m in a total doughnut-induced food coma right now, but I think I can make it through a review. Today I finally had some G&C! I’ve stopped in a few times around 10am and they were already sold out of gluten free, so today I planned to be there around 7, and the doughnuts were actually coming out of the kitchen as I got there! Since I had to wait just a few minutes for them to come out from the kitchen, I was offered a free cup of coffee, which was Pablo’s coffee and it was delicious. I left with some Breakfast of Champions and a Samoa. So so so so so good. The bacon on the BofC is cooked perfectly, and the chocolate drizzle and coconut on the Samoa is to die for. Amazing customer service, amazing product, and a reasonable price. I gotta say I’m really shocked at the reviews complaining about the price of the doughnuts. There’s a King Soopers right across the street of you want plain, regular, cheap doughnuts. When you come to a specialty place, you pay. And these prices are on par with other speciality doughnuts in Denver, so it’s extra shitty to give a bad review because of the price. Thanks for a great treat on a May snow day!

I can see why this place is named one of the top donut joints in America. The store itself is spacious and welcoming, and a refreshing setting to the surrounding area. The flavors are as youthful and vibrant as the store, and as delicious as the shops that have been around for decades. The dough is moist and soft and easy to get into. Despite the variety of flavors that you can choose, I still felt that the dough/cake stood out. The frostings were not overbearing and eclectic enough to cover anyone’s flavor preferences. I tried about seven different flavors, but my favorites might be the Mac & Nut, Vanilla Bean, and Bfast of Champs. They have special flavors circulated everyday it seems, so there must be so many more delicious flavors to try. The Co-owners were also very welcoming and friendly. They treated us Out-of-Staters like champs for all the donuts we had, but we were the ones really appreciative of the whole experience. This place is BOMB, and definitely one of the better donut places in all the States.

Last time I came here they ran out of donuts(10 am on a Sunday), so I got here right when they opened at 6 and had my pick of the litter! Got their Cronut, Samoa, Mexican chocolate, Samoa, strawberry shortcake, and regular chocolate /vanilla. I wouldn’t write home about the regular frosted ones($ 2 each). However the specially flavors are tasty and unique. The Samoa was my fav(just like the Girl Scout cookie), as was the Cronut(up to $ 5 for specialty flavors). The cookies and cream was a bit dry(sandwich donut) and the shortcake was solid. As mentioned in other reviews, these are slightly pricier than normal fare. They are large and rather dense donuts, so one will really fill you up. Worth the price? I got 7 for $ 25. Best to buy 12 to get your 25% off — I would opt for the specialty stiff over the traditional ones. I’m a monster donut eater and would still consider voodoo my fav in Denver, but this spot has some unique flavors and is worth being tossed into one’s donut regimen.

I had to travel a bit off the beaten path to get here… In the snow uphill and downhill both ways. I settled in and went with 3 different donuts: the plain glazed, the breaking banana bread, and the strawberries and cream. The glazed was a good donut, exactly what you would expect. When you do a glazed donut right, it makes me want to try some of your fancier things. Next was the banana bread. I didn’t particularly like this one because it suffers an identity crisis. It’s a cake donut that is more chewy than cakey which makes you think it is a really dense raised donut. It was just weird. The last, the strawberries and cream was awesome. The strawberry glaze is made with fresh strawberries and you can really taste them! All of this and my 2% milk — that’s one gripe. Of the three donut places I have been to in the Denver area, none of them carry whole milk! Whatever. As I sat down to mack on my donuts, ice cube’s today was a good day came on. Kind of a perfect morning for me.

I went to Glazed & Confuzed brick and mortar establishment since we are in the neighborhood. That recent visit was on Wednesday December 17th2014. Time was about 10:30hrs ish. My friend has not had her breakfast yet, so we decide to have some coffee and she had one of the Bacon Maple Donuts. My friend like her order of Donuts, and ever since our last visit to this establishment she had been back to Glazed & Confuzed for several times by now. From what I could recall I ordered 1 dozen of Donuts either for personal consumption and for Hubs. That morning, Glazed & Confuzed offered the following donuts that I choose to purchase : * The Gable, a Ginger Bread Cake Donut with an Apple Caramel Glaze and finished with a Gingerbread Man Cookie($ 4.00) * 2 Sufganiyot Doughnuts with Homemade Strawberry Preserves and Organic Powdered Sugar($ 3.50) * 2 Root Beer Float Donuts, Freshed Brewed Root Beer Glaze with a Vanilla Custard Filling($ 4.00), hence for 2 is($ 8.00) * Vegan Strawberry Donut($ 3.50) * Vegan Chocolate Donut($ 3.50) * 2 G&C Chocolate Glaze: Vanilla Infuzed Brown Butter Glaze($ 2.00), hence its($ 4.00) * Mocha($ 3.50) * Grilled D($ 3.00) * Salted Santa($ 3.50) * 16 oz Coffee($ 2.50) Hence its like 3.5 stars in my books, coz I like the«Gingerbread» Man Donut and the Root Beer Float Donuts. For the Root Beer Donuts, the flavor of the Root Beer is too subtle, though I was hoping for more Root Beer Flavor in those. As for Hubs he rated it as 3.5 stars. Some is good, some is just OK and some its too sweet for his sweet tooth cravings. If I am NOT mistaken, that morning, the staff who handled my transaction of purchase, his name is Steve G. With 12 Donuts purchase, THEN you can get a discount. Its good if you can share all those donuts with families and friends. Prices can be steep for some aka«expensive» but those Donuts are BIGGER than what we are used to. All in all, we don’t mind returning when needed to explore on what they have to offer, since sometimes the variety of donuts do vary. While I am there with my friend, this establishment is kept clean and the décor is bright. Its, spacious to chill out with friend over Coffee or Tea with Donuts. I will freely admit that donuts are not my thing. I’m more of an eggs and bacon girl for breakfast. Glazed and Confused has intrigued me for some time and it’s so close to home I just had to make a visit. I was celebrating a turning point with my doggie and decided it was the perfect excuse to buy donuts for my team at work. I walked in to Glazed and Confused around 7:15am on a Tuesday and I was one of three people in the store. The store is very large and would easily fit a large donut tasting group(if there is one). I took my time perusing the donut case which was full of delicious sounding donuts. The woman behind the counter was friendly and willing to answer all my questions, I had quite a few. I was buying for a group so I opted to mix and match 18 donuts. The flavors I choose were: Samoa(like the Girl Scout cookie) Oh My Pecan Pie Sweet & Salty Grilled(spicy) Pop Goes Lemon Breakfast of Champz(Maple Bacon) Sprinkle Chocolate Glazed Plain Glazed Hot Apple Root Beer Float I was not able to try all the flavors, my flavor of choice was the Oh My Pecan Pie which was a cakey donut not overly sweet topped with sweet and salty crusted pecans. I could eat that every day, so dangerous. From my co-workers, the favorites were the Samoa that was drizzled with chocolate and topped with toasted coconut, the Breakfast of Champz, the boys snatched these right up and groaned in pleasure as they inhaled the bacon and maple goodness, and the Root Beer Float was a crowd pleaser and those that had this one swore it tasted just like a Root Beer Float — who knew. I was very happy with Glazed and Confused and would definitely come here for donuts again if I was inspired. Inspiration may come sooner than later. *Tip #1 — One dozen or more donuts and you will receive 25% off your entire purchase! *Tip #2 — On the bottom of your receipt you get a coupon for one free signature donut between Tuesday-Friday.
