Fred Grover Jr, MD

Dr Grover is amazing. I first met him in 2007 when I first moved to Denver. At the time I was having a mysterious health issue that I was extremely concerned with and was being shuffled from doctor to doctor to try to figure it out. Doctors would spend 5 to 10 minutes with me and didn’t seem to care. I met Dr Grover and he spent nearly 1 hour with me — uninterrupted while we discussed my symptoms and I had a thorough examination. He ordered some tests and we DID figure it out. He never once dismissed me or rushed me. Demonstrating a true concern for his patients is an attribute of Dr Grover.
I had a friend also see Dr Grover regularly and he went into the ER with a health scare. Dr Grover called him on his cell phone and walked asked to talk to the ER doctor on the phone.
Ever since then — he has continued to be a great doctor and I see him on everything from my annual physical to the typical issues, bumps, bruises, and illnesses.

Dr. Grover is fantastic and I’m surprised their aren’t reviews on Unilocal about him. I first found him in 2006 before he broke out into his current practice. Right about that time, my thyroid was finally acting up and he was (and primarily has been) one of the few doctors who actually recommended people like me (with subclinical hypothyroid) take Armour thyroid. Since then, I’ve had to move away from Denver because of the military and I’ve had nothing but issues with doctors who say «You’re not really hypothyroid» or the god-​awful, «Let’s try you on Synthyroid.»
Additionally, he was one of the first doctors to test out a variety of factors with me and sadly, although he told my progesterone was low back in 2006, I didn’t do anything about it at that time, which has probably thrown me into 7 years’ worth of issues related to hormone imbalances. I think if I had been able to stay in Denver, many of my current issues could have been avoided under his guidance.
How much do I like and trust Dr. Grover? Despite living all over the world (military), whenever I have the chance to fly back through Denver and I have a medical question or issue, I set an appt with him. I can’t wait until I’m stationed closer or out of the military and back in Denver, just so I can resume more consistent care with him.
Not only is he personable, but he is extremely well-​educated, knowledgeable, and he thinks outside the box. Definitely recommend!

Had my first visit with Dr. Grover last week and I am so happy to have found such a wonderful, caring doctor. He’s an MD and believes in Integrative Medicine so he doesn’t try to push scary medications but treats you with more natural methods first, I like that. A visit with Dr. Grover is more like a visit with a good friend, he takes his time and talks to you, explains things, that’s hard to find these days.
He put me on a program of supplements and I’m feeling so great. I live 250 miles from Denver in northern New Mexico and it’s worth it to make the trip to see Dr. Grover.
His office is very nice and his staff are all friendly and helpful; and Denver is a very beautiful city.
