Five Star Glass & Mirror

I had 5-​star install a European door for my shower enclosure. It leaked badly after the installation was complete; one of the doors was clearly not close enough to the wall. I called and scheduled a follow up for someone to come out. After taking time off from work to meet the person, they never showed. In the meantime, I was getting harassing calls from the office about paying my balance, so I did — foolishly — trusting they would make it right. I took time from work again to meet for the second appointment, only to be told that it wasn’t an issue with the doors. They were abrupt and rude. A call and email to the owner Larry was ignored even though I clearly told him I wasn’t looking for anything free — just help to fix the problem. Awful.

I recently called Five Star Glass & Mirror to inquire about product availability for a special type of glass. When I called they were closed, so I left a voice-​mail. The next day, the manager returned my call, gave me a price quote that was very reasonable, and invited me in to their showroom to inspect the product. I wasn’t able to come in for a few weeks, but when I arrived at their showroom, I received prompt attention and the manager remembered our conversation. The manager then brought out the sample, and cut off a small portion for me to take home so I could compare it to a similar product from another company. I’m very impressed with their product availability, pricing, and friendly service. I look forward to working with them in the future.

A simple double paned window repair has been delayed for a second time because Five Star has communication problems with their subcontractors.
3 weeks for a window repair /…and counting? Keep that in mind as youre looking for repair places.
