Always great bbq. Sit at the bar for happy hour small plates. I’ve never had a bad experience.

While a purist might be reluctant to admit it, barbecue lovers can eat very well at Famous Dave’s. I travel a lot for work, and I usually try to sample the local BBQ joints. Among them you’ll find the sublime, the awful, and everything in between. On those days like today when I don’t have time to do research & just want to enjoy a nice two-meat combo, I happily choose Famous Dave’s. Less and less do I order ribs at barbecue joints. Like the cult of al dente pasta, which causes mediocre Italian restaurants to serve undercooked noodles, the cult of slow-and-low causes many to serve unctuous, unpleasant rib meat. And besides, I’ve yet to find a barbecue place that makes ribs better than the ones I grill myself.(Whitman: «I find no sweeter fat than sticks to my own bones.») Sorry, where was I — so today for lunch I ordered a two-meat combo(brisket and barbecue chicken, dark meat) with collards and cole slaw. Solid all around. Washed it down with a Jamesons straight-up.

Best server we’ve had in a long time anywhere. Efrain was polite, on top of our drinks, and made a good recommendation for an appetizer. Awesome food+ awesome server= a great dining experience. Only reason I did not give 5 stars is the cornbread muffins were so crumbly that ½ the muffin stayed in the wrapper. We will be back.

Not impressed and I have eaten at some of the best BBQ restaurants. I ordered the 2 meat combo with brisket and burnt ends. The brisket was dry, too dry, the burnt ends also dry and not tender the way it should be. The portion very small, it was like an appetizer. The sides also like KFC small portions. Atmosphere is what you’ll be paying for, I’m not there to eat the atmosphere. Lol, enjoy!

Been here several times, the food, service and prices are consistently good. Large menu w/barbecue to please all types. Can get crowded at night & on weekends, but they move customers along efficiently w/out feeling rushed. Can’t go wrong here. Recently tried the green bean side dish, very good. Portion size a little small but well worth sampling. Have been here w/a large group and just another person, and the service is great no matter what the size of your party. Nice patio in season.

We haven’t dined at a Famous Dave’s BBQ in YEARS, not by choice. We haven’t been lucky enough to be close enough to one in years until recently. The taste and quality of the Meal for 2 is as good as we remembered. We had so much leftover, even with our 4 year old picking at our meal. She had her kids meal too… Our waitress and who was assisting her were awesome, very helpful, didn’t feel rushed and as I’ve already mentioned, the food spoke for itself. It was a busy evening, kind of loud, but nothing to keep us away. We will definitely be regulars… LOL

Always amazing food! If you’re a foodie ask for the smoke ring ribs, because theyre the center cut and often the very best! Try the infamous Margarita with Moonshine!

Really friendly and prompt service. Excellent sides, great sauces at table and very good beef brisket. Not the best I ever ate, but pretty darn close. I would certainly come back to explore more of their menu.

This place is always a great spot! The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is perfect for a Colorado BBQ joint. You really can’t go wrong with the menu and they have a great happy hour.

I had never tried Famous Dave’s prior to my visit here and I have to say that it was a very pleasant experience. I had the burnt ends sandwich which was really tender and tasty. As good if not better than most BBQ places in Texas.

Their ribs and brisket are delicious. I love their sauces too although the flavors aren’t too different. The baked beans and mac and cheese were good(even though the mac had corn in it…) but skip the green beans and mashed potatoes they are very bland and not worth it. Friendly service and great corn bread!

Took 3.5 hrs for a part of 12 due to poor and slow service. Everyone’s food was cold, our 15 mo wait was 45. Took 20 min to get drinks and 40 for him to split the check out as originally asked.

I have never been to a Famous Dave’s before and I was satisfied with my visit. The customer service was pretty par and the waiter knew what he was doing(gave suggestions, asked how things were going, food was cooked well). I would come to one again and probably order the Burnt Ends sandwich with Banana Pudding dessert on a next visit.

I got my food to-go. I think the ribs are pretty darn good and I also got the brownie with the ice cream too. The order came out quickly and in a timely manner. The staff was friendly and didn’t mess up my takeout order. I’m pretty satisfied.

I have been to other Famous Dave’s and liked them. Today’s meal, however, was not up to the expected quality. I ordered the barbecue combo with ribs and brisket with green beams and Wilbur beans. Most BBQ’s that I have gone to had ribs that the meat would just fall off. These ribs were tough and chewy. I couldn’t even use a knife and fork to cut the meat. I had to gnaw the bones to get any meat at all. The brisket was the driest brisket I have ever had. When I tried to pick up a piece with the tines of a fork, the fork wouldn’t penetrate the meat. When I tried to cut the brisket, it just crumbled into pieces. The Wilbur beans were good. The description of the green beans said they came with bacon. The bacon was little tiny pieces that were tasteless. My two dining companions had good meals which is why I gave the restaurant 2 stars. If I had eaten there alone and not had a chance to see the other meals, the rating would be one star.

They are consistently good. I usually get the beef brisket sandwich. Very moist and delicious. They have a good selection of sauces to choose from. They also have a great happy hour with great drink and food prices. Also, happy hour is all day on Saturdays and Sundays.

I’m a sucker for BBQ… and this place definitely satisfies my BBQ cravings! We live in the area and are so happy that there is a Dave’s nearby. Our waitress who has served us multiple times is always so pleasant and efficient! She remembers us and my favorite dishes :) The BBQ chicken was tender and juicy, the jalapeño mac’n’cheese had the perfect lil kick to it, and the red garlic mashers is probably my favorite side dish. I love all the sauce options they provide! I think they have about 5 or 6 different sauces to choose from. I always look forward to the chips they serve before the meal arrives as well!
