Eccentricity

I loved shopping here! I thought they were going to only have stuff for old ladies (partly true), but they had a lot of Audrey Hepburn-​style black pants, cream sweaters, and pretty scarves. There was a lot of stuff on sale, including PJ Salvage pyjamas for 50% off, which I greatly appreciated. There were lots of quirky things, like children’s books and owl notebooks, and I am glad my mother and I stepped in here when we were in the area.

I wish I hadn’t waited so long to go into this place. It’s name is apt, as it is an eccentric mix of things for people young and young at heart. I love that they carry Jeannine Payer jewelry and brands like Haflinger clogs. They don’t carry the same items from their brands that you might see online, I had been looking and had never seen the clogs I purchased before. The staff is unbelievably friendly and not pushy at all. I’ll be back for gift buying for sure.

Before going into the Mall, I decided to take a stroll through Cherry Creek North. I passed by this store, Eccentricity, and I went in because I had heard such great things about it before. Sadly, I was let down.
There were a lot of cowboy boots (or shall I say cowgirl boots), but they looked so «trendy.» I would not buy cowboy boots from here.
Maybe this store just wasn’t for me. I passed by the jeans section (or the «Mom-​Jeans» section. That’s right, high-​rise, long zipper, «Not your daughter’s jeans.» (actual slogan)). You get the idea. I think even soccer moms would say, «Wow, those jeans are not flattering.»
The clothing itself is bit pricey, but it’s Cherry Creek. Get over it. You may be able to find something nice to wear to a party or an event, so you might pass by this store when in the area. I will say that the belt selection was cute. I saw some that I liked, but that’s about it.
Nice staff, no one pushed me to buy anything, which is great.
Overall, Eccentricity was not worth all the hype I had heard about this store. Nothing special. I didn’t see anything «unique,» like so many other Web sites told me I would. Personally, not worth anyone’s time.
