Denver Rescue Mission

We dropped off 4 bikes that needed a little bit of work and you’d think they won the lottery. They need donations and they do really good work. Great people!

I’ve had the privilege of volunteering here at the Crossing location a couple of times and it’s definitely less hectic and busy compared to the one downtown which can be a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it. The staff here are great and friendly especially during the wee hours of morning after all, people have the propensity to be grumpy at 5am, but that’s not the case. Those less fortunate and meager folks seem very grateful and appreciative and it’s quite a humbling experience. Really don’t mind waking up early in the morning to serve them breakfast ans look forward to volunteering again.
