The Denver Puppet Theatre and Zooks Café are owned and operated the nicest, most accommodating couple. When I am there, I feel like I have stepped into another time where hospitality is a family business, and people know each other by their names and the names of their children. It’s truly a special place.

This little theatre is just adorable! We spent the morning watching their production of Cinderella, decorating our own paper puppets, and playing with the puppets and little puppet theatre prosceniums dedicated for children to make up their own shows. Then we had a picnic lunch in their charming fairy-​like garden complete with tiny child-​sized iron tables and chairs. My kids didn’t want to leave! This is a newfound gem for us, and we will definitely return for their next show!
