Totally tiny little space that shows mostly local artists. The work varies from street art to conceptual art to doodles and the pieces are available for purchase. Most people come, me thinks, for the openings. The little place packs out with people of the mostly-hipster persuasion. Depending on the show you can be surrounded by teens, 20-somethings, or late-20-early-30-somethings. For the most part, people are friendly and talkative. In the back, there are refreshments. These range from wine to maté to fresh pressed veggie/fruit juice depending on the opening. Normally they charge a small fee for these little pick-me-ups. If you want to support the scene, this is a good bet on the block. Check out their facebook page for details( ), though I always find out about the openings through word of mouth(which means things are still pretty small-community-oriented).
