I realize these guys are certified and everything they do is «by the book», however, they do try to upsell you. I have no doubt the work they do, products they use, and techniques are absolutly top notch… and I would recommend them if you plan on living in your home for 40 – 50 years. However, most folks don’t stay in homes that long anymore, and paying Jaguar prices when you just need a Toyota does not make sense to me. They quoted me $ 1300 to replace my chimney crown and $ 6K to put in a new wood burning gas insert(we already have an insert in, it just needs a steel liner/connector and they won’t do that work unless they put in their own inserrt).

Rip off. Would give 0 stars if allowed. Moved in to a new house. Previous resident had not used the fire place much. These guys came out and quoted me $ 1200 just to get it in working order. Called another company for a second opinion. They showed up «oh we were just here a few months ago! Cleaned the whole thing, put a new cap on, did a full inspection. The fireplace is ready to use now especially since it has not been used since we were here last.» Definitely get a second opinion!

We had not cleaned our chimney in 7 years., I saw them working on our neighbors house so I thought I’d give them a try they came out and did a good job. Our fireplace works better now. They did recommend more work. But we’re not pushy about it. They were right on time and cleaned up. I saw a lot of set them down so I know it was necessary. I don’t know how much more I could ask for.
