Good sandwiches. But kinda overrated. Nothing really popped out as incredibly tasty or unique. Pothead’s paradise, as some others have mentioned, most of the people employed here seem to be stoned. Everything seems to be a metaphor for some kind of marijuana. A bunch of people smoking pot in front of the store… We get it. You like pot. What if I told you, that not everything you did had to be related to pot? For example: I like sandwiches. Not everything in my life revolves around or relates to sandwiches

Made an order online and didn’t realize this location does not deliver. No big deal, I’ll just call and get the order refunded to my card. I called and was told there might be some way to do it on the website but he had no idea how to do it in store and told me good luck and that was it. I’ve been in the restaurant business my entire adult working life and know there is always a way to simply refund an order. There was no cancel order option or anything online, so I guess I’m just out $ 15? I’ll delete this review once I’m reimbursed.

Nice variety of unique sandwiches. Cheap, tasty, and fast! Take a look at the door to the left of the cashier, it has additional special menu items. Lots of T.V.s for the sports fans. The people taking your order are pretty funny, and out of it ;) It only adds to the charm.

«Never a second chance to make a first impression«if you can’t get the order right it doesn’t matter how good the food is. When people pay for chicken salads and receive side salads instead you get no credit for your delicious sandwiches. Just 2 stars due to your lack of attention to details or just pure laziness… Which ever you like.

This place catered at an event I attend and I was not disappointed! Had the Kali Club and it was delicious. The provided plenty of topping and several options of sandwiches. The desert was the best part. Supper yummy and filling. This place is recommended

I admit to trying this place mainly because of the cannabis themed sandwich names etc. It is delicious. Great flavors and vegetarian options. Fruit loop dessert is oh so sinful and not just another marshmellow treat.

i LOVED it! I’m from L. A and decided to take a trip to Denver. Stopped here because the Menu caught our eye. SOCREATIVE! Great atmosphere, great food, great snacks, and best of all they have 3 different Kool-aid flavors for you to choose from. The sandwiches are named after different weed strains and they even have a pretty cool bar to hang out.

Toasted subs… Mmmm. I love the idea of a hipster sandwich bar, and Cheba Hut nails it! We stopped here at 11pm the other night before embarking on a full moon hike of Longs Peak! I got a Pacific Blue Blunt!(My favorite, but I like tuna) Not only was my sandwich delicious 4 hours later at the keyhole, and maybe it was the rocky mountain high, but somehow it seemed to taste even better at about 2PM the next day during my hike down! Whether you are looking for a sandwich muchy fix, or a nice joint to grab a cold beer Cheba Hut is a great option!

Pretty good and big sandwiches with unique and fun options. Staff is blatantly and obviously baked out of their minds. So is most of the clientele. But that is pretty damn expected when you’re at this place. Not a bad thing. The little bar in the corner is fun. Good selection of beers, full bar.

This was the first restaurant I went to since I’ve gotten here in Denver. It is right around the corner from the Hyatt which is where I’m staying. This place puts off a «pussy money weed» vibe with a kick of hipster thrown in. Its marijuana themed, but in a gimmick-like way. I thought it was gonna be cool coming here but I was wrong. They hardcore hint that they put weed in their food by calling it «toasted»(with the quotes implying such marijuana infusion) at least to me it was lol but sadly they do not. I didnt enjoy the rap music playing, but whatever So I got the teriyaki 8″ sub. I couldn’t get myself to ask for whatever weed strain they called the sandwich. I waited 15 – 20 mins at 10pm at night on a Thursday, ie an empty place. Kinda lame it took so long to make a sandwich. They built the sandwich all sideways, so there was meat on maybe 1⁄3 the bread. Idk what was in this thing, I got the works, but it smelt of Subway as I bit into it(not a good sign) and has McDonalds-like lettuce, which sucked. This place is a gimmick, and I’m pretty sure the guy making my sandwich has been drinking beer behind the counter lol. Anyway I’ll never come back :)

Oh how I wish there was a location in Las Vegas. The pretzel nuggets were incredibly flavorful and I highly recommend the spicy ranch. Try the garlic herb bread for your sandwich, it’s incredible. The munchies– especially the Goo Bar– are so good that I’m bringing some home with me. The customer service is awesome, food is quick to your table. Definitely returning!

Got the munchies? Seeking remedy? Go here for an absolutely inexpensive sandwich joint. It’s «dank» for sure. Better yet, they have an 8 inch sandwich which is perfect for«I’m not hungry enough for an American ruler but I want more than half of that.» Forget subway. Try the Jamaican Red. It’s on me(if you ever find me).

Sandwiches are great– really enjoyed the ham/pineapple/Swiss and the chicken ranch sandwiches. Yes– it is an explicitly marijuana themed restaurant but that doesn’t even bother me that much. The service was fine– did a good job. The part that will keep me from eating here again is the music. I listen to everything but there’s a place and a time for some of it. 12pm on a Sunday is a little inappropriate to be blaring explicit rap music where every other word is a cuss word. We wanted to grab lunch with our kids and the whole time I was worried they were going to consciously hear the awful music that was playing. It wasn’t little stuff– every other word was N***, Bi***, hoe, etc. It was appalling. I would be horrified to bring kids or parents here. It was totally inappropriate for a restaurant for the middle of the day. Good food– but I can’t bring my family back.

Get the Midwest Best sandwich at Cheba Hut. You are welcome! That sandwich is amazing and I keep going back just for this perfectly put together messy sandwich. This trip we also got a smaller Italian and french dip. Both were great as well, but not as good as the Midwest best. My only complaint I have about this place, is the location. Trying to park downtown is annoying. I wish they would build a location farther south than downtown or Colfax. I think it would do well. Get the Midwest best!

Nice selection of sandwiches. While it was good I didn’t feel it was anything special next to the nearby Snarfs and Planet Sub. Definitely much higher quality than Subways but otherwise it didn’t really stand out taste-wise. Do love the theme with the marijuana related names yet thankfully none of it is sold at this store! Go elsewhere on 16th St for that if that’s what you want…

I have never had a bad experience here. These sandwiches are exactly what you’re craving, I promise. The staff is amazing; always friendly and helpful. They genuinely seem to care that you walk out of the building full and satisfied. The sandwich artists just want to feed you, and the bartenders just want to booze you up. The bar is awesome. If you’re a craft beer fan, get your ass over here. Just looking around, you should be able to tell that this is the spot. The drafts are constantly rotating, and they love the fun stuff over here, for sure. These bartenders know their beers, love their beers, and want you to love your beers, too. Get your butt in here, already!

A must visit when you are in Denver!!! This place is what Denver is all about. The clever marijuana themed names of all their food, the music labels, the hidden bar area — everything! When we ordered our food, instead of getting a number to take to our table, we got a music/band logo — we got Grateful Dead Steely. And the food! Oh the food is amazing! As a vegetarian in a sub shop, I will tell you, this place rocks! There was multiple vegetarian options! I got the«Silver Haze», the pretzel nugs, and a captain crunch rice crispie. YOUHAVETOGET A CEREALBAR. Seriously! They are life changing. If I would have had a bigger purse, I would have purchased millions to take home! So good! And of course, you need to top it off with a craft beer(or PBR if thats how you roll) or some kool-aid! Also a must! I totally don’t have a single bad thing to say about this place(which is crazy!) So… Atmosphere: 5⁄5 Food: 5⁄5 Price: 5⁄5 Staff: 5⁄5 Totally will need to make a stop here anytime I am in Denver again. Thanks Cheba Hut!

My son raved about this place so I decided to buy lunch for him lunch at one of his favorite spots. The place is kind of shabby chic inside not to my tastes but I can see the attraction for the younger crowd. The people who work there seem to enjoy their jobs and are very pleasant. I ordered the Jamaican Red on a whole wheat bun containing spicy chicken, chipotle mayo, pickles, jalapeño’s, lettuce and tomatoes. It was delicious, spicy and on a crusty wheat bun that mad the sandwich a winner. When downtown this place will be on my list of lunch options. They serve koolaid that is kool !
