Wanted something near the house so decided to try a local pub. Had happy hour sliders, fried pickles and calamari. The food was typical bar food. Nothing spectacular, but reasonably priced. Service was good.

This one star is for the karaōke dj only. If you belong to his family, you are up and singing. If you are sick and wrong, you are singing. If you want to dance, you will dance. If you want to hang out and sing, it’s not happening. Really sad, because we want to support this bar as Shondora is awesome. There are so many other really great karaōke bars in Denver. We will stick to coming here for the food and the best server ever, Shondora.

I came in tonight for a quick drink and a small bite to eat. I have been coming here off and on for a couple years. Never had an issue, but tonight I was very pleased. Enough to write a review. I sat at the bar, because everywhere was seated. The bartender was awesome. He quickly got to me, and it was busy. The food I ate was good, although it was only soup, it was delicious. I have eaten here many times and have never had an issue. But it was the bartender that made my quiet visit perfect. He was attentive and very welcoming. Will start coming in more often. On another note, Justin is usually our server, and he is always great. Very happy to see this place busy and get a welcoming from a server that knew me. Kudos Caseys.

Very, very cool. Quite consistent. Great staff, great service, and an amazing atmosphere. Try the Fish tacos, the mussels, and most especially the adult Mac-n-Cheese w/blackened chicken, Chicken and chips… The Dubliner(!!). But Stapleton can produce a crowd sometimes at the most surprising moments. Generally however, great service and an amazing effort by these guys. Never does this place let us down.

We visited this restaurant on Saturday night during a college football evening. Great night to go out and enjoy ourselves! They seat us by the back door by the patio, not a problem, had a view of the bar, service station, kitchen. We ordered our food at 6:50pm. Waited, waited, and waited. 7:50pm we asked the front house manager where our food was. She explained that she gave our food to another table so they have to recook all of our food. Mistakes happen not a problem. We asked for some bread & butter while we waited. Another 20 minutes goes by, food comes out. I order a cheeseburger and he order a prime rib. Guess what’s missing on my cheeseburger? The Meat! No meat on my entire burger and his prime rib was cold. He just started eating since he was starving at this point and I waited another 20 mins for the meat for my burger. Manager came by to apologize and covered our meals so I will give her that but both our waitress and manager blamed the kitchen for all the mistakes. Which I have a hard time believing since our waitress was kept apologizing to the kitchen for putting the wrong order in. I will say they do have some of the best French fries I have had in a long time! They were delicious! On our way walking out I heard a guy a couple tables besides us tell our same waitress that he was sending back all of their food to the kitchen as it was cold and raw. Didn’t even want to reorder just wanted his check so he could leave. I will never go back, well maybe a to-go order of those fries!

Hello. Today my wife, 2 kids, and I, came into this establishment for dinner. We must take time out of our evening to say a couple of things. Our food was great but our server was absolutely terrible! Normally we don’t take time to email a place we eat but this time around it must be done. Our servers name was J**tin, date and time of our visit was 10÷14÷15 at 630pm. He was inattentive, had a very short attitude, and seemed to not want to be there. He made us feel very unwelcome and feel like we were a burden. He only checked on us once toward the END of our meals. Only asked the husband for desert and no one else. Wife had to ask for desert after the check was present in a untimely manner. We also noticed he seemed to be this way with other guests. We would love to revisit this establishment but never would if he was our server again. Would of gave this place a 4+ review(FOODWASGREAT!!!) but our server made it terrible!

Nice atmosphere, but pretty sure we both got a mild case of food poisoning from the football buffet :(

This is a cool little spot in Stapleton. Easy to find, relaxed, decent parking, good service. Overall, I’m impressed. Although I just stopped in for a quick happy hour, it was a nice time. I would for sure go back again. There were a couple of fellas behind the bar that took great care of us. That’s solid. I enjoyed the munchies and the beer. What more could you ask for? It sure seems like this would be a good place for a large group party. I might have to tap it for FAC with co-workers. All in all it’s a cool pub. Slante.

Our server was very friendly and quick to make sure everything was right. Free beer with the special and not just a slept domestic but any draft which they have a good selection including a number if local favorites. Don’t forget to sample something off their whiskey menu too.

Bartenders were friendly, fast & knowledgable. Brie appetizer was huge + tasty; real legit being half off during their 2nd happy hour.(10−12am I believe). Fish n chips + a friends Rueben were both fresh & true to the Irish Pub theme. Surprised it wasn’t busier for craft beers & half priced apps happy hour– More for me I suppose!

The martini’s were good and reasonably priced at 5.00 on Thursday. The food was ok but not overly impressive. The atmosphere is family friendly and very clean. The service was somewhat slow for a thursday but not bad.

This is the reason why i started a Unilocal account. The happy hour is awesome and also the food is prob some of the best bar food I’ve ever had. You must try the sliders as well as the chipotle wings and also the honey habanero wings and wash it down with one of Colorados local beers.

Stopped into Casey’s for a very late dinner on a snow storm day. The space is really cute with a fireplace. I heard good things about the sweet potato fries and it was great. My main dish, fish tacos, comes with a very nice presentation but the taste is meh. My friend ordered the bacon burger and he said his burger was awesome.

Really hate writing bad reviews… really hate paying a LOT of money for bad food and service. Me, husband, and two 13 year olds went here for Sunday brunch. I shall title this: «Casey’s is Like the Nice, Pretty Girl With no Substance.» — — — — — — — — – AMBIANCE/LOCATION: +: nice décor, clean, quiet, cordial server, lovely and comfortable booths, great fireplace, close to other shops and neighborhoods, easy to get to, free parking. Server was great with water and coffee refills. -: poor service, the ceiling needs work(beautiful lofted ceilings but the guts are exposed, looks terrible and brings down the upscale bistro vibe they’ve got going on). Brought our side waffle dry. No new syrup, no butter, no whipped cream. No spoons offered/brought. Coffee brought out first, a few minutes before cream and sugar came(meaning coffee was lukewarm by the time it did). And finally, my husband and I asked to split a waffle. Server suggested«so, just a side waffle, without the meat and fruit?» We said yes. The check came and we were charged the full price of a waffle plate. She said nothing. We asked about it and she said«oh, yeah, so we can’t do that…» and in the end took off about $ 3. Still a $ 7 crap waffle. And a shitty way to handle something(i.e. instead, own up to your mistake and some money off instead of making us have to ask you. poor service.) Suggestions: Train your servers better. They’re plenty nice, just not skilled or thoughtful. If you’re not going to train your staff better(including the cooks) then lower your prices by at least half. This is a pretty and comfortable restaurant but has no substance and is overpriced. — — — — — — — — – FOOD: +: tasty meat products(bacon, sausage, the corned-beef in the hash), breakfast potatoes were good(but nothing to rave about). The hot chocolate the teens and husband had looked pretty good too, they had no complaints. Oddly enough one of my favorite things i ate there was the sourdough toast. Husband had the Irish breakfast and liked most of it, he really liked the irish brown bread that came w/his meal too. -: First off, we should have known… the menu is confused. It’s an Irish bistro but they have fish tacos and cuban sandwiches on the menu? This is a SURE sign of a crap restaurant. The second tip off was that the coffee was bad. It only got worse from there… One of the girls’ pancakes – which are pretty hard to fuck up – was undercooked in the middle. Like, batter-wet. The waffles were flavorless, limp, and dry(as were my scrambled eggs which I didn’t eat). Somehow even their syrup was bad, tasted artificial and I would guess was mostly high-fructose corn syrup. Suggestions: Stick to one thing(Irish pub food perhaps?) and do it really well. The menu feels scattered and the quality is clearly poor/lacking. Either train the cooks better or hire new ones. Again, lower the prices by about half to match the quality(cheap). — — — — — — — — – CONCLUSION: I felt really bad because we are REALLY good tippers and are generally laid back and forgiving… but at these prices, this poor quality food, and seriously lacking service, I went with a sad %10. The sense I get is that this is where the parents of Stapleton with young children go because it’s kid/baby friendly and they can drink, plus kids eat for really cheap. If you love food and expect quality, stay away. Trust the other reviews. You will only leave with less money and really wishing you had gone to Udi’s on the corner instead.

I have had better luck with the kitchen here lately. The new chef has a good handle on the menu. The kitchen had really improved. And the staff has always been really friendly. I thought I should give them another star and update my review. They will show soccer/futbol so Rapids fans should check it out.

I had incredibly high hopes for this place– had been looking forward to checking it out for weeks and finally got my chance. A lot of reviewers complained about the ambiance being disappointing… not sure what they’re looking for, but I liked the fact that it was fairly quiet on a Friday afternoon. I could hold a conversation without having to yell or strain to hear. That’s an «A» in my book. The service was mixed. While our waiter was fairly attentive I kept wanting to tell him to watch«Restaurant Impossible» for some pointers. Number 1: Don’t stick your fingers into little to-go cups, or smear them all over every plate you set down on the table. I don’t know where your fingers have been and I really don’t want them in my food or on my plate, thank you. The food: I adore Fish and Chips and have spend most of my adult life looking for the best that Denver can offer. Naturally, I had to give Casey’s a try. The verdict: I“ve had better out of the freezer section of King Soopers. What a disappointment! Not only was the fish extraordinarily greasy but two out of the three pieces they served me were tail cuts. Skinny, scrawny, fishy tasting little things swimming in oil. Yuck! The tartar sauce was bland, and so was the cole slaw, although I have to give them credit for not serving up slaw that was too sweet. The french fries were yummy; crisp on the outside and puffy in the middle. Nice job on that one. My dinner guest had the French Dip and immediately complained to me that it didn’t taste like Prime Rib to her, and that the ratio of meat to bread was unsatisfactory. She did say the au Jus was the real deal, though. And yes, as other reviewers have noted: the Bailey’s Cheesecake is delish! When our waiter is asked if everything was alright I responded by asking him if he wanted an honest answer. He said yes and seemed genuine. I told him my fish was really greasy. He asked me without hesitation if I wanted to send it back and order something else. I told him no– I always worry that the cook will take the insult out on me and give me something a «little extra» to go with the next plate. To the waiter’s credit he discounted my bill by $ 3.99 and gave«greasy fish» as the reason. I would have liked to mention the tail cuts but he didn’t give me the opportunity to continue. I would like to go back and try them again but am not certain that the experience would be any better the second time. One dish I really wanted to try is the Shepherd’s Pie, but someone said it is too heavily seasoned with rosemary and I am not a big fan of that herb. If they’ve lightened up on that I’d be happy to check it out. Anybody have any reports on the bangers and mash? That’s another one I’d love to try. Welcoming feedback! To sum up: Casey’s could use some improvement. Would love to make this my go-to place for a cold beer and a good plate of food. Not even close yet.

I’ve been coming here for a long time now and the food has gotten consistently better. It’s bar food with flair, but if that’s the kind of thing you want, you can’t go wrong here. The service is spotty though. The last time I was here, I only got one drink refill and the waiter disappeared for quite awhile at one point. Other than that, the burgers are pretty good and the«Irish entrees» are decent as well.

As mentioned by an earlier reviewer, there’s just something not clicking here. It’s inauthentic. Sterile. There’s usually not much of a scene/crowd. The food/drink/happy hour specials are fairly blah. Bartenders are hit and miss… some decent, others are blind as moles and slower than sloths. It’s a shame because there’s really no other decent, non-chain, no-hotel bar in a 3 mile radius yet this one feels like a Bennigans on Prozac. Maybe they need a $ 1 tequila shot night so all the Stapleton MILFs can re-live their unfulfilled spring break wild nights. Or at least have dollar tacos from 5 – 7.
