These people are amazing. Not sure what Phillis is talking about, but extremely untrue. I just got a free flu shot and my co pay is only 10.00, My meds ran out that I get from the drug mfg. at the clinic at no charge and they filled my prescription since it costs about 240.00 to fill… to hold me off until they get my order. Fabulous people, good treatment!

If you don’t have health insurance, you need to know about this place. They work on a sliding pay scale, which means that if you bring in a pay stub showing you don’t make a whole lot of moolah, you won’t be charged a whole lot of moolah here. Not surprisingly, the waiting room can be crowded and the service can be slow. Also, you may or may not be seen by the same doc every time you visit… but you WILL be seen by one, you can count on that. This isn’t some ghetto-ass clinic with stained chairs and homeless people crouched in the doorway(think Height-Ashbury Free Clinic in its heyday) either. It’s affiliated with Exempla/St. Joseph’s, and yes… you’ll have access to all the fancy-schmacy gadgets they have to offer. Hopefully you won’t need them! The way healthcare is today, you can’t afford to be without SOME kind of safety net. Bring a recent pay stub down to Caritas and get yourself into their system. I’m lucky enough now to be covered on my husband’s policy, but when I wasn’t(service industry peeps, I’m talking to you!), this was where I got my bumps, bruises, breaks, and bronchitis handled. And all for the lowlowprice of $ 5 per clinic visit($ 100 per ER trip, of which I was fortunate enough to only have one). So for all you uninsured… stop clogging up Denver’s Emergency Rooms for your nagging cough and runny nose. Get yourself into Caritas Clinic’s system and get yourself well!
