I’ve been training here for 3 years and keep coming back. There’s something amazing about this capoeira community. It’s more than a space to work out… Though it is that, too. It’s more than a space to stretch your physical, mental, and emotional safety bubble… Though it is that, too. It’s more than a place to learn to interact with others in new ways… Though it is that, too.
It’s just a great place.

Let me preface this review by mentioning that I’ve been practicing capoeira for a number of years and I only stopped in for a visit as I was driving through town. I couldn’t say what the experience of a beginner is like, but based on my limited exposure to the studio, I imagine it is very good.
That being said, this is a great place. Mestre Galo is a great teacher and has built an incredible group in a very lovely space.
If you visit a class, keep in mind the area of town and give yourself time to find a parking space.
