If you’re planning on tubing the south platt, then freaking do it! Also this place is really good! Enough food to fill both of your stomachs! You can get a burger with strawberries on it or even a dang hot dog! Welcoming of Christians and non Christians alike! Now were cooking with grease!(So to speak :)

I visited on a Tuesday around 10:30, and there were a couple other people that came and went while I was there. I ordered three breakfast burritos to go, potato, ham, and I think the other one was bacon. I got them to go, they came individually foil wrapped in a paper bag with napkins and a little cup of green sauce. The potato one was a bit bland as potatoes tend to be, but they were all good. I liked the bacon one the best. The eggs had a bit of a smoky flavor from the griddle, and there was some green chilli sauce in there as well. All wrapped in a normal sized tortilla. Two would make a solid breakfast, I ate all three and was stuffed. The restaurant itself is a dining room area with a bar and a few tables. You place your order and pay at a window to the kitchen, it reminded me a bit of Fuel City in Dallas. I work in the industrial area just east of I-25, so it’s nice to have a place to get breakfast-to-go just a few blocks away on 8th. It’s all hand painted signs and a small menu, it’s one of those places that is exactly what you expect it to be.

Drove past this place a couple of days ago and thought«wonder if its any good»? I’ve been toying with the idea of opening up a place like this and selling breakfast food for $.99, just like I’d find back home in deep south Texas — en el ‘Valle’. Anyhow, walked in today and had built myself up for what would likely be a disappointment(sorry Denver, but there is more«miss» than«hit» when it comes to restaurants of all types around here). Placed my order for two barbacoa tacos and a potato and egg breakfast burrito. Going with staples, I figured this would be the litmus test. After about five minutes the order was ready. Presentation was appealing and everything was hot off the skillet. It only took one bite of each item… Homerun! I’m pretty stunned, but I think I’ve found my go-to spot for a little taste of back home. In fact, I’ll come back later to try a torta next. Give this place a shot if you’re nearby. It’s in an industrial area and they only take cash at the moment(despite the card logos on the door), but I think you’ll be pleased.
