Very poor service. The staff was more interested In looking at their cell phones and carrying on with friends then letting me pay my tab. I was there for about 15 min. to pick up a to go order.

I like Brooklyns, its your standard issue drinks before the game bar. Plus its right under the Keller Williams Real Estate office that I work out of so its super convenient for lunch or a quick happy hour :)

Stumbled into Brooklyn’s before the last Avalanche game of the year. With a packed house we received fantastic service. Bartenders are quick to provide refreshments while handling the rush. The manager Kyle went out of his way to make sure we were well taken care of and it was greatly appreciated. Great spot to pop in before a game.

I come here monthly for the CafeSci talk, and it’s the only reason I come here. Food is not good, and drinks are pricey without a good selection. Doesn’t have a great ambience either. There’s really no reason to come here except for the science talks, or if there’s a game at the Pepsi Center(though I’m sure there’s better options around). I always eat before coming here anymore.

We are newcomers and went here after an Avs game to avoid the fan traffic leaving. We were seated– table for two immediately. Drinks came fast waitresses double teamed us, one saw us waiting and took our drink orders then our waitress came as soon as she was available took our food order. The food was standard bar food, the nachos came as a huge serving and they were actually pretty delicious. We housed them had 2 signature drinks and then went home. We didn’t wait long for our check and our waitress brought it and we were out. All together we had a very pleasant experience staff was efficient and friendly, food and drinks were good and I feel reasonably priced. We will definitely be back to avoid the traffic. Seriously I’ve been to a lot of places that are around sports venues and yes they are always packed before, after and during events. If a place holds about 18000 people and you have a bar on the corner then do the math… Knowing this and experiencing other places I do have to say I was super impressed with the service and the way the staff backed each other up now that is something I have rarely seen.

Been here four times in past two years and keep saying never more. But it’s right next to Pepsi Center. Recipes and execution similar to what is served in DPS elementary schools. Service is astonishingly lousy. They always seem really shocked there’s a crowd, clearly failing to realize it coincides with events at Pepsi Center. I’m 100% convinced the only thing keeping this place in business is its location next to Pepsi. Otherwise this would’ve closed 6 months after opening.

Went in with group of 15, surprised to not have to wait with no reservations. Everyone orders, and only after asking does the staff inform us they won’t split a check. For 15 people. Half of our group did not have cash. They might have stayed if service was thorough enough to tell us they have an ATM in the building!!! Half our group left and finally once we got the food, the portion sizes were far too big and the food was on the overcooked side. Would not go again, but maybe a sports fan would appreciate the sports centered atmosphere. Also we were weirded out by how dark it was in there and the management proceeded to dim the lights further responding to the impression that we were squinting from the lights(we weren’t) so it was good as a last resort for hunger but not for a special day like a birthday

Kyle was amazing. I was there for a work event with 60+ people and everything was handed without one mix up. Great place great drinks great people. Thanks Brooklyn’s and Kyle!

I’ve had better food on an airplane. I ordered a turkey club sandwich and got two dry pieces of bread, two pieces of dry cold bacon, some folded turkey(like it just came out of the package), and some wilted lettuce and a trace amount of tomato, no mayo or condiment of any kind. I figured that it’d be hard to mess up a club sandwich, but they can do it I guess.

The food is no good and the drinks aren’t cheap. This place banks on the events at the Pepsi Center to stay in business. Lousy customer service, food is on par with a chili’s from 5 years ago.

If you aren’t a fan of Denver sports then this is your bar. My wife and I went to a Nuggets game and then over to Brooklyn’s for a drink after. Everything was fine until a group of Steelers fan came in, order a bunch of shots, then decided to go start shit with people sitting at the tables near by. Instead of throwing the drunk assholes out, they decided to throw me and my table out for throwing the a guys terrible towel on the ground when he waived it in our face(while we were sitting at our table minding our own business). So if you like a bar that supports everyone not from Denver, then look no further. Ps: I would love to hear from management on this!

Brooklyn’s is the sort of place you hit up before an event at the Pepsi Center-which is what I did before a Nuggets game. But I don’t think I’ll be back. The whole place is pretty big, but bar space is surprisingly small for a sports bar. I can’t speak to the food as I didn’t have it, but beer and booze isn’t bad. But man, my experience at the bar was a little less than stellar. The bartender was busy chatting sports bets with some guys next to me who were dipping(yes, very gross) and spitting into cups. They acted like I had inconvenienced them by asking to order a drink. Between the small bar space, allowing people to dip right next to you, and uninterested bartenders(unless you want to talk point spreads), I’ll go a little further next time for a drink before a game or event.

This place definitely gets the business it gets because people can get blitzed before or after their event at the Pepsi Center(where a beer is NINEDOLLARS) We have dined here twice, and the first time, the food was meh, and the service was better. The second time, the service left some to be desired, but the food was good. Definitely plan to get there early if you want a decent meal. We thought we had plenty of time, but by the time we got our food, we barely had enough time to find our seats before our event began. To begin with the Pros: Both times we have gone, even though it was crowded, we did not have to wait. We were seated quickly, in good, accessible places. The food is decent, but definitely not amazing. It’s good enough bar food. On our most recent visit, we ordered the onion rings, the boy got a burger, and I had the Salmon, which I expected to be far more sketchy than it was, but I am also a busy post grad who has not had a balanced meal in far too long. I mostly felt bad for our server, because she was a middle aged mom who probably had a few kids at home and looked as though she hadn’t even had time to shower that day(also ew). She either was not familiar with the menu, or couldn’t read, but when I ordered a shot and beer combo of Bacardi Tangerine and Coors light, I’m pretty sure I got straight Bacardi and Labatt Blue(which was one of the items sort of above it on the menu). Due to time, I didn’t even bother to say anything. We also were not given plates when we ordered appetizers, and everything took a fair amount of time to come. On our previous visit, I got the taco salad, which oddly had a layer of refried beans and tortilla chips on the bottom which just made it a gloppy, goopy mess that was not appetizing in the least. This place is fine for a quick meal, and to pregame before an event, but if you’re looking for a high quality date night I’d check out Downtown before even heading this way.

Recently my sons hockey team got to skate at the Pepsi Center and between when we skated and the game we all decided that we would come here. Mistake. First, we had a large group, 6 different families. We sat the kids at one table and the adults at another. They said that we couldn’t do that because one table was a different server than the other. Then everything had to be on the same tab. It finally got sorted out after about 20 minutes with the kids at a table and each set of parents at their own table(they won’t split tabs because they want to add an 18% gratuity to the tab). I told the manager that with this experience I was very unlikely to ever return. She said, no problem you don’t have to. Okay good, I won’t… Our server, once everything was worked out, was good though. The food: YUCK. My wife and I shared the nacho’s with chicken on them. The meat tasted like canned chicken and had no flavor. Almost like canned tuna. and the chips were soggy. For the price it was terrible. Our son had the Buffalo Quesadilla and said it was good. He claimed it was spicy for him but probably wouldn’t be for me or his mom. Overall it was disappointing. Not a fan. Won’t return.

I used to drop in here before a concert or two or three, but now we got to the other location over by invesco and take an über here. They have enough beer selections to make any man pleased but the staff is so busy with a packed place don’t try for anything other then appetizers

Loud, crowded, staff are just there to get you in and out, so basically just how a sports bar should be. be careful, they include gratuity in the bill so careful not to tip too much

We came here for some pre-game snack on a Thursday night. I wasn’t too impressed with the food, drinks or service here. It’s a very spacious restaurant with two levels. They have a decent bar with flat screen TVs. What’s on the menu? The usual bar food: chili, soups, salads, sandwiches and burgers – nothing out of the ordinary. They have a good selection of beers on tap. It wasn’t particularly busy on a Thursday night but the service was rather slow and we waited a while for our waitress to take our orders. The waitress didn’t seem to be too thrilled about her job. You’re better off grabbing a bite to eat in LoDo, Larimer Square or any restaurants on 16th Street before heading down for an event at the Pepsi Center!

Last weekend we paid this place a visit before and after a Nuggets game. They had 90 Shilling on draft for about $ 5 which made us pretty happy. We were able to walk right up and order and be served promptly despite the place being very crowded. It is truly impressive when busy bartenders make every customer their priority. So a lack of star for slow service upon arrival: When we returned after the game we were seated with no menus, we waited a while, I finally got up and grabbed some from the host stand. The bar area was busy but the dining was not at this point. It took a while before we were greeted and another while before waters and beers came. Other lack of star for crazy server: Our server, I won’t name names. was really messed up. He was clearly under the influence of some illegal stimulants. He was talking a million miles an hour, ran away while we were still ordering, tongue coming out of his mouth, odd fidgeting, etc. When we went to pay he didn’t stick around for us to split it correctly he just ran off and swiped our cards. If you are going to engage in drug use, please do it when you are off work. In the meantime, have a red bull before your shift instead. You’ll perform better and you won’t weird our your customers. Anyways, the food was just okay, our friends had the nachos which I immediately became jealous of, they were stacked high with plenty of toppings. My boyfriend and I shared a bison quesadilla I believe it was. clearly was just ground beef. Nothing special, slightly overpriced. My boyfriend had a burger which he was very satisfied with. We will definitely come back next time we are at the Pepsi Center but would not seek this place out otherwise. And probably will just hang out in the bar area rather than have dinner here.
