Dallas has inspected homes for us four times now. He inspected our resale home back in 2007, then our new home three times while it was under construction and once yesterday before our 1 year builder warranty runs out. He is thorough, knowledgeable, and pleasant. We will always call Dallas for any home inspection needs. If you want an inspection done right, he’s your guy.

Wow. Dallas Pruit is the most phenomenal home inspector on the planet. I hired him through BPG to inspect two homes in the last couple of months. I just finished talking through the second inspection report with him over the phone, and had to share my enthusiasm somewhere.
— His INSPECTIONS were utterly thorough. He knew his stuff. I can’t say it any clearer than that.
— He happily explained everything I wanted to know about the house. He was willing to share good advice about what issues were priorities, give repair cost estimates, discuss the full implications of each inspection item. And, because my knowledge in these areas was limited, he basically gave me an education in the process. He also wasn’t afraid to say «I’m not certain» when a termite specialist or structural engineer needed to be called in.
So, my two words of advice: (1) Hire Dallas for your inspection. (2) If you want to learn more about roofing, foundations, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or almost anything… take advantage of BPG’s generous advice program, the value of which goes way beyond your actual inspection report. Ask questions about everything you don’t understand. Here’s someone who can answer them clearly and concisely – and who has fun doing it.

We are buying a house and Guy did our inspection. He was on time, professional, and thorough. Not only did he take his time to accurately inspect everything, but he answered our questions as he went and gave us great advice to maintain our future home!
His report was detailed and clear and helped us negotiate repairs with the seller. He wasn’t able to check the A/​C because of the weather but offered to drive all the way back across the city any time at no additional charge!
The company offers a free extended advice program if we have any maintenance questions. As new home owners, in sure we’ll take advantage.
