Killer little joint for a drink, with super fun bartenders & patrons! My girlfriend & I ducked in to get out of the rain having no clue what kind of a bar it was, had a blast wanted to go back, cool spot!

This place is one of my new favorites! The drinks are great(especially the Chai drink… MMM!) and the location is right next to VooDoo donuts so you can monitor the line right from the bar and bring back donuts! We went on the night of a burlesque show which was great! There was one server in charge of the whole overpacked room and she did a great job! They could have made the seating more conducive to packing people in(maybe rows) and they could have had someone much nicer working the door to the event! Overall, one of my new go-to places!!!

Girls girls girls and some friendly allies. Main bar was great, side room had a show going sound was really bad and the lights were kind of high. I didn’t need to see everyone that well. All and all I’d go back on my next trip to Denver.

This is the only show in town that is almost exclusively lesbian. Very nice staff and a chill atmosphere. You should definitely check it out!

My girlfriend really likes this bar. It’s a little small at the bar itself. Feels pretty tight when many people are there. We have been to quip which was pretty good. Different type of poetry read. We stumbled upon it. Just happened to be going the first night we ventured here. The bartender is great. Love the drinks and how open he is to letting you try different flavors. He’s also great at making drinks based off of «I don’t know what I want, but I want something fruity.» I’m sure we will be back… Just not sure when.

Great staff, comfortable atmosphere and awesome drink specials. Love to load up the jukebox and relax with the always-friendly crowd. Karaōke is always fun here too, when I catch it.

Great place to meet friends for a coffee, mixed drinks, or to just chill on the couch and muse over the books in their library. Also, Phil the bartender is super nice!

Just moved to this part of town and was super excited to check this place out. I had a blast! While my friends played pool(for free) upstairs, I sang my heart out at karaōke! Really friendly bartenders and patrons. I can’t wait to go back:)

I’m sad that once again I am moving out of Denver and Blush is one reason why! I’ve been a regular here for several years(and under several names) and its one of the few places I’ve always felt completely comfortable. The staff is friendly and welcoming. A great place for anyone in the LGBT community and its allies to meet great people and enjoy a drink, or two, or 10. I’ll beack whenever I’m in town. Thanks Jody and Holly for always being so great to me!

I moved to Denver from Phoenix in 2012. There was no LGBT community there, so it was to my surprise when I stepped into a wonderful«everybody bar.» I have been a regular there for two years and it has been my favorite place to hang out. The bartenders are always friendly and Jody B. will have you laughing continuously at her jokes. I conduct most of my meetings there in the loft where they have a library. It’s a nice place to relax during the day and night! I highly recommend it.

I discovered this gem a little over a year ago and I’ve been a“regular” ever since. Blush & blue is a little like«Cheers» for the GLBT community but EVERYONE is welcome here. But blush & blue is so much more than a gay bar, it’s an amazing gathering place for the community. Blush is a kaleidoscope of seemingly endless activities and events. But at it’s core is a strong sense of community with a plethora of community focused events which enhance and strengthen the community. Blush is a bar, a gathering place, an art gallery, an affordable bookstore, a cool place to hold your events or just hang out with your friends and shoot a little pool, play Skee ball, dance and even get a picture of you and your friends in an old fashioned photo booth! Blush also donates it’s facilities and staff to worthwhile community organizations such as Colorado Youth for a Change and the GLBT Community Center of Colorado. Blush is also the place to be on Friday and Saturday nights for karaōke, comedy, dancing and much more. So whether you need a place to hang out and get a little work done in the loft with free Wi-Fi and the best lattes in town or an awesome place to meet up with friends and have a blast, Blush is the hottest spot on «the fax».

This place is close to my apartment and I’ve wanted to like it, but I’ve struggled. I’ve visited on and off over the past year and found the prices to be a little high every time. I had settled for only ordering PBR when I come in here which is never my favorite choice, but is generally reliably affordable. I visited this past Saturday and let myself break that rule to get my husband a scotch. Not a good scotch, just a Dewar’s on the rocks. That’s Dewar’s as in the cheap blended scotch. The common white label that’s all over the country in bars that don’t sell good scotch. I ordered a can of PBR(small, not a tallboy) and that one Dewar’s. We then used two Unilocal check in offers for two free shots. The total was $ 18.50(not including tip) for one PBR, one Dewar’s on the rocks and 2 «free» shots. Either we were charged for the shots or this place thinks it’s ok to charge $ 18.50 for one Dewar’s and one PBR. I should have questioned the tab instead of just paying it. That’s my fault, but regardless, the struggle is over. I won’t be back.

I’M DONE. I don’t dig callow, disingenuous and fake. Got all of the above from this joint. The markup on booze is rediculous and the service schizophrenic. Small note from someone in the service biz for a while: Take care of your guests, no matter who they are, you never know WHO they are. I will never enter this place again and I’m flagging this joint throughout my network.

I’m surprised I haven’t Unilocaled at least on iteration of this location from tHERe to the Urban Whiskey Bar to Blush & Blu, but I am remedying that now! I’ll put out there that I am not really a drinker, and at this point in my life, I’m not really a bar-goer. So why, you may ask, am I hanging out at Blush & Blu? Firstly, it is more than a bar. They have full coffee shop options, and as a non-coffee drinker, I appreciate their delicious teas, chai, etc., for those of us who aren’t all about the beans. The baristas and bartenders are great(special shout outs to Shree and Richard), and are always friendly, have good suggestions and will try to make you what you order creatively, even if they don’t have some of the ingredients. Secondly, it is more of a community space. With books and games upstairs(one negative for me, as I can’t make it up the stairs), booze and coffee in the main bar area, video games, pool tables, couches, comedy, open mic nights, karaōke, sex education workshops, yoga, dance lessons, etc., in all of the other spaces, Jody and Holly have worked to make Blush & Blu a location for community to gather in addition to just hang out and drink. They collaborate with a variety of individuals and organizations, both LGBTQ specific and otherwise, to make sure different activities and events are available and accessible to the community. THIS is the type of space I want to spend my time and money in, not one just is just for getting trashed. Also, I really appreciate the gender neutral bathrooms, as this means all of my friends can join me. It is a safe space for queer and trans* folks, but it is not exclusive. I have plenty of straight and cisgender friends who come hangout here as well, and that is a tricky thing to accomplish. Props to the owners and the workers for making this such a community focused, successful space.

I’ve been going here for 12 years — through every name change. This is my FAVORITE place to hang out when I’m in Denver. It’s like Cheers. You’ll be welcomed by the friendly staff; if you’re lucky Jody B herself will be behind the bar. They’ve got coffee, tea, cocktails, pool and a new skeeball machine. Just go, you can thank me later.

I spend a lot of time here and can speak to the diversity of not only the folks coming in but also the wide-range of versatility within the space. The staff is incredible, from lattes to fancy pants adult beverages — they have everything you could imagine to wet your whistle. On the evening side of things, they host tons of events, from queer yoga to karaōke as well as comedy, drag shows and a whole slew of weekly events. There aren’t even enough words to describe how awesome this space is, I suggest coming in and checking it out for yourself. (oh yeah, and it’s right next door to VooDoo doughnuts)

Standing in line for Voodoo Doughnut, we decided to go in since it was next door(someone had told us they had run out of doughnuts – not true). It is a cool little place. Has a small library upstairs, nice bar in the middle and on the other side an area where you can play pool, dance, and Karaōke on Friday. I went back in line since they hadn’t run out of doughnuts, while my daughter stayed inside. While waiting, one of the bartenders from Blush asked if any of us wanted hot chocolate, coffee or spicy chai while in line for $ 2. I said yes, and she brought it out to me – that was so nice! After getting my doughnuts, went back for a little while and listened to people sing Karaōke. Very nice people and the drinks are super inexpensive. My daughter got a Heineken and Maker’s Mark Bourbon with Ginger Beer for $ 8.75.
