This place is closed. I reported it to Unilocal, but no changes have been made. I live across the street. Place hasn’t been open in weeks.

Do not shop there, owner is a dick, doesn’t pay his bills or employees, buys liquor from larger stores and sells it for double which is illegal.

The new owner treats customers and employees extremely poorly. He also doesn’t pay his bills… to anyone. Go somewhere else if you can. Seriously… the guy has zero thoughts for others.

Quite possibly the worst liquor store I have ever been to. Not only are prices marked up to an absurd amount but the selection is awful. Employees are never helpful and are usually seen outside smoking marijuana with no regards to the liquor store inside.

Great neighborhood liquor store. Friendly folks! If they don’t have exactly what you want they’ll try to put something together to meet your needs. Open til midnight!

They don’t pay their bills to their suppliers and they aren’t open when they say they will be.

A family owed shop run by some happy people. They have apparently made it their goal to be open later than anyone else, so if you’re wondering if they’re open they’re probably open. OK selection, pretty good prices, and a lack of snobbery which is a plus if you just want a six-pack of beer that wasn’t brewed by trappist monks using a 500-year old yeast culture that you probably never heard of because you’re buying PBR.

The closest non creepy liquor store to my place! Very friendly fellas, open pretty late, and has most anything you might need, and if you ask, they will get it for you! We’ve gotten all kinds of non boring beer, we can source local colorado wine, saki and flasks of wiskey for random recipes Loading spot out front, parking spots down the side on a regular day — if you are buying more than you can carry home! Bonus for camping — $ 5 bags of giant ice!

Good prices, nice guys, good selection, good attitudes. And you don’t get yelled at for having a backpack or a bag in your hand like the other liquor store down the street, Mister something.

With out a doubt some of the most knowledge individuals in the business. They have some of the best wine selection in Downtown Denver that I have seen. Location is convenient if you want to go buy something before you walk to the Rockies games during the summer time. Barry and Scott go out of their way to make sure to help you with any questions that you may have. Barry’s advanced knowledge on wine makes decision making easy. He knows exactly which wine goes well with any occasion you may have.

Best liquor store around… Great guys running a great shop with great prices. And I second feeling guilty anytime I shop anywhere else(which doesn’t really happen much — only when they close before the others).

I feel guilty anytime I purchase from anywhere else. Above and beyond service, and just the nicest owners of any business I have been to in a long while. Great wine selection, probably best in area.

Blake Street Wine & Spirits is run by what appears to be a whole Italian family, which is pretty sweet. The two guys(brothers I think) that are usually around will always have a joke and a smile ready for you when you come in. Their selection of wines is the best in the area by far and they carry a fair amount of micro-brew beers too. The prices are a bit high, but with the price of gas these days being able to walk to the LQ, or drive just few blocks is worth it. The best way to take advantage of their position however is to drop by on your walk to Coors Field. In those four blocks you can consume enough liquor to get you tipsy. In that case you can avoid the seriously dumb prices of beer at the stadium($ 6 for a crappy beer.) Anyway, back to Blake Street Wine. They also have a parking lot so you don’t have to pay for parking as well as reserved spaces so if there is a ball game and all you want is a drink you won’t have a problem getting a space.
