Alisha Rice Tattoo

I really wanted to give Alisha an amazing review. She came recommended to me by a long time client. I went in for my consultation, which was somewhat of a waste of time considering it was a very simple design that was already drawn (she even stated that a consultation wasn’t needed, so this wasn’t Alisha’s fault that I went down there for nothing). I paid my $ 100 nonrefundable deposit and scheduled my appointment with her. One week later, when I showed up for my scheduled tattoo, after filling out all of the forms, another artist came out to tell me that Alisha wouldn’t be doing my tattoo because she wasn’t feeling well. I found it highly unprofessional that she wouldn’t have contacted me prior to my two hour trip to the shop, or if it was a sudden thing, that she wouldn’t even step out to the waiting area to at least tell me herself. Luckily, I ended up receiving a phenomenal tattoo from the other artist, but this experience left a bad taste of unprofessionalism in my mouth. I sincerely hope she treats future customers with a little more respect.

Alisha is amazing — I’ve come to her over the last 7 years for many different tattoos and I love them all– not because I think it was my idea so they must be cool — the tattoos are artistically and technically spot on. Actually I usually pitch her an idea, the spot I want it done on my body and then the day of the tattoo I am elated to see she has exceeded any expectation of the tattoo I had in my head.
Most of all I love that she is knowledgeable, professional, a stellar artist and just one kick ass lady. I’ll always recommend Alisha to anyone because she is a very talented and great tattoo artist. Plus I’ve never gotten more complements on how gorgeous my work is.

Alisha is a wonderful artist! Even better with a tattoo gun in her hand! Not only are her original designs, and artwork a fine masterpiece! Her clean lines, beautiful color, and ability to soothe a scared soul is an art piece in itself! She is fast, imaginative, sterile, and original. Give her a blank canvas and some history of yourself, and let her fingers do the artwork! I get 99% of my work done by her and send everyone I know to her. If you have to sit through pain, Alisha is the girl to do it with. She is smart, educated, good conversation, and easy on the eyes! (I’m straight too)…
I can say she is the most original artist I have met, and her tattoo skills are phenomenal! I do not like pain, Alisha works with my crying self and is FAST! So I don’t have to suffer, or maybe she doesn’t want to hear me bitch anymore!
I would recommend Alisha Rice to everyone I know, and don’t know!

Alisha not only designed and inked a gorgeous tattoo for me, but did a fabulous job of altering an earlier tattoo I had to harmonize. She is everything you could hope for with a steady hand, an overflow of talent and enough sass to keep you distracted through the whole process.
