I have been into this one many times because it is very close to my work and one of my favorite hang outs. There are a lot of homeless people around and always at least one sitting by the door asking for money. I understand that the staff must deal with a lot of rude drunk people but that has never been me and so maybe they shouldn’t treat me like I’m the scum of the earth. I have never been treated well. The staff is rude and I have never seen one smile.
There is another 7 – 11 at 11th and Ogden if you dont need gas. They are much more pleasant there.

It took me more than 10 minutes to buy a water here. Not because they were busy, not because there was a line, but because the girl who works there was standing at the counter yammering on her pink-​and-​white bling-​tastic phone! Though I speak several languages myself, I couldn’t recognize the one she was speaking, so perhaps I’m being culturally insensitive by expecting my one item to be rung up in a timely manner? But somehow, I doubt it.
