Incredible shop! We cane in about 15 minutes before closing and the women that worked there were still incredibly nice. Their product is beautiful and fun! On top of that, their prices are incredibly fair and readonable. Most places I go nowadays are so overpriced… I was so delighted to rilun into this place. Everyone in Denton should check it out!

We drove past this place while heading to another store a few weeks back and I immediately turned around to head back. This is a FUN store! They have such a large variety of goods to choose from. Clothes, décor, jewelry, handbags, candles, bumper stickers, postcards, just to name a few things they have. They also have baby/​kid stuff! Truly enjoyed browsing and picked up a few goodies. I believe we spoke to the owner as she checked us out. Whoever it was was super friendly, telling us about places and restaurants we should visit. I highly suggest checking this great store out — I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!

Their store selection varies and offers everything from local t-​shirts to jewelry to candles/​incense to local art. The Lizard ladies are so personable and helpful. It’s hard not to want to spend hours perusing the store. I think the jewelry options have always been my fav. I always seem to get compliments when I wear a Sleeping Lizards piece. Their prices are very reasonable so you can find something for almost any budget. If you tell them it’s a gift for someone, they will wrap it up with a classic plastic Sleeping Lizard… they even let you pick out your fav lizard! This is one of the coolest places I’ve ever been! I had to put the brakes on before I got completely out of control. There is an amazing variety of jewelry — I’m a fan of fun jewelry and there are a lot of things different than anything I’ve seen. As usual I ended up buying myself things but I’ll definitely come back to buy gifts. And more for me.

I have never gone in there without finding something to love, whether for a gift or for myself. There are always new things, and something for everybody in every price range. The owner is very creative and makes some of the unique items in the store. When gal pals from out of town come for a visit this is our first stop. If you love jewelry you’ll have a field day here. They have the best selection of odd greeting cards in town, unique decorative items for home or office, clothing, knick knacks, and generally fun stuff. This place is one of a kind.

Loved that there was so much to choose from and look at. It was fairly cheep and the stuff that was a little more on the expensive side was not that bad. The lady running the shop was super nice and helpful too! She helped me choose a couple pieces to put together as a necklace for my sisters birthday. Will definitely be going back!

On my first visit this past Saturday afternoon I stopped in for a get well card and found a cute handmade one and a small gift to go with it for under $ 10. And I picked up a cute beaded shamrock pin for myself to wear for this and future St. Patrick’s Days.
The parking lot is oddly shaped/​sized and was kinda tight when filled with cars when I was ready to leave after about 30 minutes of shopping. It took longer than I would like to exit the lot in my mini SUV — there’s little room for error because everyone is so close to each other and the building. I can live with that and will visit again because the selection of items was really cute and varied. Overall it’s a great gift boutique!

Affordable, and awesome. Check out Beth Klein’s silver custom charms w/​necklace. These are so GREAT.. . I have a co-​worker who wears one that I admired. She sent me to the store and I was so pleased to find them available and priced where you can buy them for yourself AND others without breaking the bank!!! I know they wear well, cuz my coworker wears hers every day for 2 years now — so I can’t wait to start ordering them for me and family members!!! Store is very cute and most items are priced well.

I’ve been shopping in this store for years — even before they moved into the new location. It’s a wack-​a-​do store with something in every corner they pride themselves with supplying unique finds. It’s a great little shop for gifts and whatnots. Good range of prices for every budget. Lots of everything from clothing, jewelry, furniture, kitchen items and more.

Are you looking for a unique or kitschy gift? Then you should get yourself to Sleeping Lizzards out in Denton. This place was very large and full of interesting artwork, Christmas ornaments, candles, jewelry, cards, housewares, barware, some cool tin wall hangings, and all sorts of things you didn’t know you needed. It was one of those stores you just walk around in and check out every little item. Unfortunately I didn’t find anything to buy on this trip but I have a feeling I could make it happen if I tried!

One of my favorite gift shops anywhere for many years. Very affordable prices for a unique array of products (cards, gifts, housewares, decorative items, jewelry), including a small selection of antique/​vintage items. The women who ran the place and worked there were always nice and helpful. This was the sort of place that made me hate to move away from it; I wanted to be able to transplant it along with me! I’ll definitely be back for a visit on an upcoming trip to TX.
