They have not been open for 8 weeks try several. monhs good food little pricey for my taste

As good as it gets w/​relax dining experiences! Wait staff did not hover which is sometimes off-​putting, A balance of checking on us and leaving us alone so we can enjoy our meal. Food fantastic –the desserts look appealing but there just wasn’t any more room left ! Overall great experience. Highly recommended ! Serves breakfast lunch and dinner

I’ve come to this restaurant twice now and have been very satisfied each time. They have a wide variety of food, the breakfast menu is very good, and they also have homier options which are quite delicious as well. Try the chicken fried chicken and sweet potato fries they’re quite tasty! Also they’re desserts always look really good in their glass case they have pies and cakes and all sorts of other things. This place is great I will definitely keep going back! Worth a shot not too expensive either

Came here for lunch on a Saturday. I had the buffalo chicken salad and my husband had the patty melt. I also had a cup of tomato basil soup. All of our food was good! My grilled chicken had a great flavor, yummy blue cheese on the salad. Soup was tasty and his sandwich was good!
Only downside, service was slow. We had to ask for drink refills and our check.
Otherwise, a pleasant lunch! Would return!

Food was good, would of been a 5-​star but hash browns were over cooked. Server was super nice and friendly. Will be back!

Thanks to fellow Unilocalers, I decided on this spot before heading out from Denton. This place is tucked on the backside of a shopping strip, plenty of parking. We had a group of 7 but were seated instantly. Our waitress came over and drinks were served fairly fast. Rather large menu, both breakfast and lunch items, but we all opted for breakfast. They had shades over the windows, so it appeared rather dark in there (shield your eyes on the way out!).
I started off with a biscuit and gravy (as an appetizer, lol!). The biscuit wasn’t too large, which I appreciate and the gravy was flavorful, but didn’t have sausage in it/​For breakfast, I got the two eggs over easy, bacon, wheat toast and hash browns. Others had biscuits & gravy, the taco plate and migas! (FYI– for the biscuit and gravy, if you ordered sausage, it comes in the gravy, not on the side) Everything looked great and tasted good, but it didn’t knock us off our feet. My hubby ordered a single tamale and it arrived but was already broken up inside, so it was basically just shredded pork. Just a nice, traditional, simple breakfast. Food was reasonably priced.
Our waitress was amazing, (Believe her name was Kayla) — she was running back and forth, making sure drinks were full, getting us all the condiments we needed. She was able to split our bills for our group. I would come back here for the great service, but I doubt I will find myself craving the food.

Came in for breakfast on a weekday morning. The service was great and timely and portion size was good for breakfast.
I don’t think this restaurant should only have one $ seeing as a single waffle is $ 7. That is very high in my opinion considering food cost is very low for this type of item with minimal prep time required. Additionally, most breakfast meals are in the $ 10 range, a little pricey for eggs and toast.
It is no old west, but if you are in the unicorn lake area, it will do.

Seated for 15 and server never came. I alerted the host and we saw her talk to the server to inform him we were waiting. 3 other tables were seating after us and were greeted and had their drinks delivered within 2 minutes. The server was a tall white guy with a beard. If only he knew I have serving experience and how well I treat my servers when I go out with my family. Why complain to management on the spot if I can get better service at another well known brunch spot 5 minutes away?

Found it because the Old West was packed… glad it was! It’s better than the typical Texas café. Great coffee and friendly staff. No wait on a busy Sunday morning.

We LOVE this place. Our waitress, Summer, was knowledgable and attentive. I had the migas and they were excellent. My wife and daughter split a breakfast platter and the three of us split a bowl of fresh fruit. I highly recommend this place because of its delicious food and terrific service.

We decided to try some place we’ve never been last time I was in Denton visiting my girlfriend and man am I glad we did. This place was really good.
I ordered simple; just a chicken fried steak with mashed potato. My lady chose to get some breakfast for dinner options. All of our selections were so good.
The cream gravy they served with the CFS was so creamy. I don’t know if it’s fresh or made from a mix and I don’t really care. When it’s that tasty, I don’t bother asking and just enjoy it. The potatoes were also very well made. Smooth and delicious. My lady also enjoyed her choices very much. A pecan pancake, hash browns and eggs with some breakfast meats to go along with it. I sneaked a bite and agreed that they were very tasty.
This would likely be a good choice at breakfast time, but was also a great choice at dinner. We will definitely make another trip back to the Sidewalk Café and I’m eager to try some of their other options when we do!

My husband and I are in love with this restaurant, our favourite is egg white omelette with bacon the staff is super sweet and the food is amazing never disappointed.

Came here today for the first time. The restaurant was almost completely empty. The wait staff was very friendly and took my order promptly. I was by myself and ordered biscuits & gravy, eggs, hash browns, and bacon.
20 minutes later, I asked when my food is coming out and indicated that it should not take this long to make a single entrée. The waitress apologized and said she’ll tell the kitchen to hurry up.
My food didn’t come out until 5 minutes later (25 minutes total after ordering). The food was very good and reasonably priced, but it should not have taken so long for one entrée to come out. What if I had been there with the rest of my family? Would it have taken an hour?

Cute place in a nice area. Right next to the movie theater. Ample parking. Came here for lunch/​breakfast on Sunday.
Heard the blueberry pancakes and chicken fried chicken were excellent here. However, since I was going to the movies right after, I did not feel like eating heavy.
I ordered a small breakfast (your usual… eggs, bacon etc.) with one pancake no blueberries… Now I’m regretting not getting the blueberries. Maybe that may change my review. The regular pancake was good… but not whoa, the best thing I ever ate. The pancake was quite dense for me. I finished half of it. It is a large pancake.
Came at noon, seated right away. Busy, but not jam packed.
Service… EXCELLENT!!! our waiter was super nice, friendly, attentive, thorough when taking our order. There wasn’t anything extraordinary that happen. He just exude sincere friendliness and not, I hate my life, what do you want fake smile. I wish I got his name though…
I will definitely come back and try those items on my list.

Everyone at our table loved their food and everything was so fresh. They have a cute little room that would be perfect for private parties. Definitely coming back!

I live nearby and come here often, usually for breakfast or lunch. Personally, I have never had a problem with service. The staff is always quick to address me and take my order. Food always comes out in under 15 min.
The blt and tomato soup combo is excellent. It’s my «usual». Everything I have ever ordered has been quite good. I have no complaints regarding the food or service. The tamales are delicious and I love taking them home for later.
My only wish is that they invested in a cappuccino machine so they can start serving some cappuccino/​mocha/​espresso like the ones at seven mile café. All they have is regular coffee pot coffee. :/​Hence, my reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

Ordered two dishes and I most definitely recommend the biscuits and gravy plus two eggs and hash browns for a little over $ 8.
The croissant sandwich was also very good!
Will return.

Came here for breakfast instead of having fake eggs at homewood suites. Ordered a Mexican breakfast — eggs with chorizo and tortillas. Food was great. My friend ordered and omelet and she enjoyed hers as well. They are open at 6 am I think which is great. We came in at 7 am. There were a few elderly people and still the service was a bit slow. I will try other breakfast items again if we stay at this hotel again.

Good place to come with family and eat breakfast in Denton. The waitress was extremely nice our orders we out quickly. The food was good and served in portions that filled our tummy’s. I only took off a star because they did not have the ingredients for the eggs Benedict meal. I came here for that exact meal and was not able to try to because of this. But besides that, I definitely recommend this café.

This place doesn’t come close to comparing to other breakfast places in Denton. They use frozen veggies instead of fresh, which is a real let down for me. The service was good, but the food was sub par.
