For the price, you really can’t beat this place, especially for a college town. Yeah, outdated, but I usually don’t stay in the room except to sleep and get ready, pool area looked nice, but too cold to go swimming. Complementary breakfast was a plus and pretty good. Microwave and small fridge were also appreciated, room was clean and employees were very nice. Will stay here again, if in the area.

By far the nastiest hotel I’ve ever been to. Roaches everywhere and although the people who work here are really nice, I would not recommend this dirty hotel to anybody.

Clean and compared to the hotels in the area price was fair. Less than $ 90 and guest services very helpful. Also complimentary breakfast. Small fridge and microwave in the room, clean towels and sheets. Overall I had a good stay

Outdated! This hotel is not horrible, but it could definitely use some updates. We stayed in a single occupancy room which had a comfortable king sized bed. No exhaust fan in the room, so when showering, it can get quite humid in the room. I also recommend bringing your own towels as the towels provided had seen many, many better days. Other than that, it wasn’t a horrible experience.

My relatives on my mom’s side of the family live in the DFW area, many of them in Denton. We(my parents, brothers and I) try to go at least once a year to visit them, but we don’t like to impose on them. So, this is our go-to hotel. It’s not fancy at all, and it’s a little outdated, but we get our needs met, and the price is decent. Pros: –Inexpensive. It’s not the cheapest hotel in the area, but I won’t stay at the cheapest hotel anywhere.(That’s just asking for trouble. You play, you pay). It’s still a great value for the money. –FREE breakfast. This is so important! They have a really nice breakfast setup: a waffle maker where you pour your own batter, and a variety of other hot breakfast items: eggs, bacon/sausage, hash browns, tater tots(in lieu of hash browns), biscuits, country gravy. In addition to the hot items, there’s also yogurt, oatmeal, fresh fruit, a choice of orange or apple juices, tea/coffee. It’s great – really! –Mini fridge and microwave in room. This is always important to me during a hotel stay so I don’t end up having to shell out a fortune eating out. –Location. It’s centrally located for our needs, right next to I-35, which is how we get in and out of Denton, and right in the middle of where several of my relatives live. –Free parking. ‘Nuff said. Cons: –It’s outdated, and could definitely use a remodel. The bathrooms often have peeling paint/plaster issues, but we’ve never had any big problems that required a room change or anything. The tvs are older models, but they work just fine – no flat screens, if you’re picky about that sort of thing. It doesn’t bother me, but I see that issue in hotel reviews often, so I thought I’d put it out there. They have a small fitness center, and the small amount of equipment inside it could use some oiling to stop the squeaking, but it’s definitely usable. The ice machine seems to be broken every time we stay there, though. Just keep that in mind. –Depending on the room you stay in(single vs double occupancy), you can find yourself walking the gauntlet that is the hotel. It doesn’t matter how many times I’ve stayed here, I can still get lost schlepping from one side of the hotel to the other. Overall, the place is pretty clean, and the staff is friendly and efficient. My parents and I will definitely keep coming back here during family visits. It’s probably closer to a 3-star for the outdated status of the hotel itself, but I don’t worry about problems with my stay here, so that earns them a bump in star status. :)

Clean and neat Had to get the tub unplugged and the TV is old. But the beds were comfortable and reasonably priced.
