Can’t give zero stars. This place is out of business, no message on phone just a sign AFTER I brought my ultra behind out here. Rude!

Our favorite Philly cheese steak in the area. Its hard to find something for everyone but this place seems to have something for everyone. Its not in the best location, but it’s worth the drive

Really good cheesesteaks and great, personable staff. Unfortunately, we were told it’s going to be closing soon so get your fix in while you still can!

I came here based on reviews I read on Unilocal and sadly was disappointed. I’ll keep this post short. The Philly cheese steak I had was mediocre at best and on my 10″ sandwich got what looked to the same amount of meat as my wife who ordered a 6″. I say that because I had a lot of empty bread on either side of the open face sandwich. It’s not like it was terrible or inedible it just wasn’t all that good. Our fries weren’t very good either. It was cool to try as I am out of town but if in Denton again I won’t go back. On a high note however the gentleman at the front who tool my order was rather hospitable and friendly. His service was the high note in our dining experience.

Delicious philly steak sandwich! Bread comes from Philly; literally. Great, crispy sweet potato fries, perfectly spiced and salted. Good variety of sandwiches. The place doesn’t seem just sparkling clean, but it’s okay. A good cleaning would really be nice. It’s dark in there too which is a little bothersome with the not so sparkly clean feel. I would go back info am ever in the area.

This place is incredible! The Philly’s are absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is wonderful, so colorful and I loved the music. The décor is old school and you find yourself just looking around at everything because it’s so fun. The owners are the nicest people you will ever meet. I love this place and am really excited it’s right around the corner!

When I went, around 4 pm on a Saturday, there were 8 other customers in the restaurant, the guy said it would take a while because their grill is small and they were slammed at the moment. I ordered the mushroom philly and one soda. He charged me for what I thought was too much and when my order came out(not a long wait at all), the order came with fries that I didn’t order. I explained that I didn’t order the fries and he was pretty cool about the mistake. He offered a refund but I declined because I thought I might as well eat them since they were in front of me. The mistake seemed one off. Now to the food, the mushroom philly! This was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had in my life! I LOVEDIT. I will be back for that same sandwich many more times. The fries had both salt and pepper sprinkled liberally on them. There are salt and pepper shakers at every table so it was odd that they put that on the fries instead of letting customers choose what they want to put on and how much they want on their fries. But I fished one out from the bottom to try and it seemed kind of tasteless to me, not that fresh. You might want to look at other people’s reviews of the fries to get a better sense if they are good or not because I don’t like fries in general. I think if get a bigger grill, they won’t be so frazzled when they have more customers. I can’t wait to go back.

My husband and I stopped in just to check this place out. We ordered subs with chicken, provolone, tomatoes, and avocado. We were pleasantly surprised. It was wonderful! We will definitely be going back.

The service is great and extremely friendly. We had the original Philly and the pizza Philly and were very happy, can’t go wrong with either one. I’ll stop here next time I’m back in Denton

Great little place to take the family. Owner is nice and customer service is a priority. Jalapeño ranch is yummy as well as Philly sauce. Reasonable prices, food is delish.

Showed up on a Friday night hour before close and the main guy in charge of taking our order is covered in flop sweat visibly frazzled and pleaded with us to give him a five min break before even taking our order. Lol. When looking past him into the kitchen it was a chaotic 2 man crew. Even now sitting at our table we can see him scrambling around the back while his customers are waiting patiently. I’m thinking maybe the entire kitchen staff has called in or quit and now the front of the house crew has been rallied to the back kitchen as an all hands on deck effort to save the restaurant. We can only hope the food will be fantastic! After waiting for what felt like forever, the frazzled front desk guy came out of the back kitchen panting with a fist full of free food passes(which he carelessly threw down in front of each of his patiently waiting customers) as a half hearted apology for making us wait 45 min for what turned out to be the most mediocre sandwich we have had in our entire lives! We finally get our food(I ordered the turkey club and hubby ordered the spicy Philly). Mine was ok–(not toasted and thin packaged deli meat) and he said his was dry. He doused his with O’Philly sauce. Once we have mustered up the courage to re-brave the grueling 45 min long wait for a sub par sandwich we may end up using those free sandwich cards.

Exactly what I wanted. Great Sandwich Delivered to my table. Clean and comfortable environment. Tasty sauces to put their nice spin on a classic. I’ll be back, but with the whole family next time. Denton is impressing me at many turns!

What a great place! I’ve seen this place for years and I finally decided to give it a try and I am glad I did. The dining area is nice and comfortable with plenty of seating and it was not at all crowded or loud. The temperature was comfortable on a very cold winter day. The staff was very friendly and the food came out quickly. They were very accommodating with getting my order exactly right — their menu is a bit streamlined compared to the images posted on Unilocal but they were able to make me any of things that used to be on the menu. I ordered the buffalo chicken with blue cheese with a side salad. My wife ordered the«original» beef with lettuce, tomato, and vinaigrette with sweet potato fries. Keep in mind that you can choose any of the sides in a combo(there may be extra charge for some items, I don’t know). The sandwiches are available as 6″ or 10″. We chose the 6″. The side salad was a bit small but the fries were a huge portion and they were very good. My buffalo sandwich was great and it had a ton of blue cheese on it. If I had to critique I would have liked a bit more buffalo sauce on it but that’s no big deal. My wife’s beef original was very good too. I want to comment on the size of the meals. The 6″ combo looks crazy huge in the pics but it is surprisingly not super-filling. It’s a perfect amount of food. I was worried about being too full but it was surprisingly light compared to my expectations from seeing the pics. It looks super filling but the bread is very light and airy and the meat filling is not overly stuffed. Don’t worry about busting your diet too much. Anyway, give this place a try! You’ll really like it.

It has been a while since last I visited here. I heard through Facebook about a new BYOB policy they had. BYOB and you get a Philly and fries for $ 5($ 5.41 after tax.) Every time I order the 6″ basic philly, I always think«maybe I should get something else after,» but I always end up with a warm and satisfied belly. Customer service is always great. I know one of the employees, but it’s always refreshing to see the owner in there and engaged. I can feel how much he cares, and I appreciate it. Good lunch, good price, no complaints.

So high five to this place! Trusted Unilocal to find us a new and good lunch stop, and Unilocalers delivered! We had lunch there yesterday(Sunday) around noon. I’m not a huge fan of cheesesteaks so I went with a chili cheese dog and fries. The hot dog was substantial in size and was pretty good! Fries were good, too. They have several sauces near the silverware that were pretty good. I mixed the ranch and their house sauce together for my fries — good! My husband built his own and I don’t recall all that he got, but I want to say that it was a standard cheesesteak with mushrooms and blue cheese. I tried it and it wear good for sure. If and when we go back I’ll be getting one of their cheesesteaks but will hold the blue cheese =) All in all it was a great experience complete with me spilling my drink. So thanks for the great food, and sorry for the mess!

Talk about a complete 180. I already liked O’Philly before, but it was kind of hit or miss for a while. And often the meal would arrived a bit overcooked. But all that, as well as some stellar decorative touches, has changed with the new owner/operator. If you visited the old place and liked it, you need to go back because you will now love it. And if you visited the old place and didn’t care for it, you need to give it another shot. The new menu is perfect, the new owner is nice and friendly and approachable, even the light fixtures are new and it all comes together so nicely. Our meal was simple, but perfectly prepared. Philly afficianados know, this meat is so thin that the steak needs to be cooked perfectly and there is little room for error. And I’m happy to say our meal tonight was delicious and cooked just right. I’ve never been the type to enjoy Cheez Whiz on my Philly subs, but thankfully the new menu offers a «Build Your Own Philly» section and I took advantage of it and got mine with Provolone. That’s how I always liked them and they nailed it. Just enough cheese, just enough onion and peppers, it really was a step above. And all of it on fresh bread with some very crispy and very tasty fries. Give the new O’Philly’s a chance. I don’t think you’ll be dissappointed. The new owner has put up Groupons for those looking to save a few bucks and they offer a loyalty card that you can punch for a free sandwich once you buy 10. And to top it all off, they’re now open on Sundays too. Check these guys out! :)

My husband and I used a Groupon for this place. We really liked it. Food was so good. I had English style fish & chips, my husband had a build your own. Philly cheese sandwich. I had a taste of my hubby sandwich, meat was perfectly cooked, seasoned well, and very generous size. My fish and chips were really meaty, and cooked perfectly. We drove 25miles to try their food. It was worth the traffic and the long drive. We are definitely coming back.

Great food. What I expect when I get a philly. Can totally customize and you get a ton of options. Food is fresh, service is great. Manager(or owner?) Came to our table to make sure we were happy. Meal for two came to $ 24, but it’s a «stuff yourself full» portion. You can pay a lot less for an average size portion here but we opted for the larger. It’s nice and clean inside. I’ll probably be back soon since I drive by twice a week.

Whoa! Someone got a facelift! Hadn’t been here in a while so I decided to drop in for my usual chicken fajita philly. They’ve redone the restaurant: new paint, cleaner bathrooms, better looking. The downside? The guy at the counter could give two craps about customer service. I walked in, and he was in the back with the chef playing on his phone. I had to call out to him for him to even look up and come to the counter. I ordered and sat down at one of the tables and watched as the guy at the counter continued to ignore customers and forget to grab the food from the window when it was ready. My sandwich finally came and it was everything I remembered. Same amazing taste and now they even carry bottled water! :0)
