North Texas Foot and Ankle Specialists, P.C.

Took me awhile to write this due to being busy, but did want to share some thoughts about this place. First off, Dr. Dao was recommended to me by a couple other people. So, I made an appointment and was seen less than a week later. When I got to the clinic the receptionist was very nice. I was put in a room and a doctor came in who was clearly NOT Dr. Dao. I said something about this and was told he was on vacation. That was strike number 1! I had a fleeting thought of just canceling the visit right then because I was there to see the doctor that was recommended to me. But, due to the pain in my foot, I stayed. Although the doctor I saw was okay (but I still have pain), I would have to say that I was not pleased with the fact that I wasn’t told Dr. Dao would not be there. I then received a bill that in my opinion was an outrageous amount for the services I received. All in all, I made the mistake of staying when I should have walked out which was my bad. I can’t recommend the doctor nor the place as I didn’t see the doctor I had made the appointment with and I feel the charges were inflated. So, live and learn. Still have the foot pain, too, but will pursue a different podiatrist. Oh, and recommend asking about charges up front and comparing costs even if you have insurance.
