I remember being SO excited to get new floors. My husband and I went into this place…& set up an apt to have someone come out to our house. We both took time off work to meet with this person. They never showed up. No call, no nothing. I hate that someone else has a similar review, but glad to see we weren’t the only ones. =(I still don’t have new floors, bc I’m afraid of getting burned again.

Keep on driving past this store. My husband and I stopped at the Denton store to try to find tile for a bathroom remodel. Overall, the staff was friendly and as helpful as possible, as choosing tile is a very personal task. Jackie initially assisted us, but handed us off to a new sales associate so that she could go do an in-home measure. We picked out our tile and set up an appointment to have our bathroom measured. The day of the appointment, our scheduled time came and went, with no Jackie and no phone call. 20 minutes after our scheduled time, I had to call HER to find out if she was coming out. She informed me that yes, we had an appointment, but she was stuck in the store with a customer and would be heading out soon. Another 45 minutes goes by with no call; I called her and was told that they were on the way. Considering we were an hour and a half past our appointment time, I told her that we had errands to run and asked her to call me when she got back to the store to reschedule. No phone call ever came. I called her the next day and set up another appointment for the following Thursday at 11am. Fast forward to the next Thursday: I missed a call from Jackie at 10:52; she left a voicemail asking me to call her because she had a question. I called back at 10:59 and 11:30 with no answer. I finally called back at 12:05 and left a message explaining that I didn’t understand why they bothered to schedule appointments when they had no desire to keep them. I also told her that we would be purchasing our tile from some other company. Thank goodness I have pictures and the names of the tile I selected; now I can go give my money to another store that actually wants to make their customers happy. I will be telling any of my friends that might be in the market for flooring to avoid this store at any cost. Bottom line for businesses: If you schedule appointments, make courtesy calls the day prior and keep the appointment. Things don’t always go as planned, so if something comes up and the associate cannot make it to the home at the scheduled time, GIVETHECUSTOMERWHOWANTSTOGIVEYOUMONEY a phone call to let them know that the time may need to be adjusted.

We had a fantastic experience with My Flooring America’s Denton store. Barbara was very attentive and helpful in the showroom during our visit. Danny followed up with us and was able to beat a bid we had gotten from another flooring company by $ 600. Barbara came to the house and measured everything. The tile we wanted was ordered and in just a few weeks the installation crew was working. Jorge and his crew were absolutely impecible!!! The job they did was amazing. We are so pleased and highly reccomend My Flooring America in Denton.

My Flooring America has been very impressive to me. I had more order in with the company and during this time the person I worked with left. My order was messed up and fell through the cracks. With that said, when I brought it to their attention they went above and beyond to make it right. When I came into the store, they had everything waiting for me and they knew my name. They did a follow up call and ever an email plus a follow up from their corporate office. Customer service is key to me and I’m sure many other people. Their quality of carpet, tile, and wood are impressive and so are their prices. I will use them again for my own personal use and with my real estate clients. More companies should learn how to have quality customer service especially when there is a mistake. Instead of arguing, they made it right. No egos involved.

I can totally respect a place that asks me to post about them. These guys are doing things right. A very established business with all the bells and whistles to complete any project. I am a do it yourselfer by nature but I was not about to tackle this project. hardwoods all downstairs and til ein the kitchen. flawless job. One day I will change the carpets and My flooring America can bid it forst.

We had a terrible experience and would NOT recommend this company! They jerked us around for 1.5 weeks about our install date and did not communicate well. They called on a Sunday to say we needed to be home and ready for them to install hardwood(in 2 rooms) the following day(talk about giving notice!) We re-arranged our schedule, moved furniture from our bedroom and they called at 10a Mon to say they made a mistake. Ok — things happen. We were fine. They scheduled us for the following Monday and showed up w/o materials because they hadn’t arrived yet and asked if they could tear up our carpet and prep. We asked them not to because it’s our bedroom where we sleep. Tuesday arrived and they showed up, moved furniture and then told us they still didn’t have materials and would come back on Wed with the flooring. They promised to be here early, 7:45−8a and arrived after 9:30a. 3 times we unmade our bed, moved furniture into our bathroom/hallway, etc so they could start, and 3 times they postponed without proper communication. Finally — the bait and switch. Once the floors were being installed I noticed the plank sizes were all the same.. At the time of estimate, he said he didn’t have the exact sample, but showed us colors and size options. We selected the wood with 3 widths(which was very cool to us) and the color. The floor that was installed was all the same width. We called the sales rep and the company and were told we got what we ordered. Over $ 7500 for 2 bedrooms and 2 closets — we did NOT get a fair price for the crap they installed. They do NOT care about their customer! We called to complain and nobody returned our calls. I guess they have our credit card info and that’s all they care about. We would never hire this company again!

Dwight Garris was our salesperson. We bought tile, wood, and carpet. Everything was installed professionally and looks great! We love our new floors!
